College Hunks Hauling Junk & College Hunks Moving

I was extremely disappointed in the service I did not receive with College Hunks Hauling Junk. I initially called and scheduled an appointment almost a month in advance to the move. I was informed that the truck would arrive at a set date and time range based on the size of the truck that I needed. During that call, I set an inventory list with the personnel. I was informed another personnel would be calling me closer to the move in order to finalize the inventory list and add anything that came up. I received a phone call from another staff member (from a different phone number than the first) asking me to verify the inventory a week before the truck was due to arrive. Less than 2 days before the truck was to arrive, I received an email that my service had been cancelled. I emailed back immediately and received a very rude and abrasive text message at 9 PM that the truck needed for the job was not available. The employee did not ask to reschedule or ask if a smaller truck was okay, she instead told me that it was my fault (even though I scheduled almost a month in advance) and basically my issue to deal with. The employee instead told me that I was not answering any phone calls from the company when they tried to reach out to me. I checked my phone log and had 2 unknown numbers call my cell phone with no voicemail left for me to contact someone back as it was an urgent matter. Not only that, I was required to first put down a deposit (like any other moving company) that I have not received back. Through various emails, I was informed that I would receive my deposit back in full in about 8 weeks time for processing and a phone call from the local manager. It has been over 3 months time and I still have yet to receive any money back or a phone call from anyone.

Went perfect, very professional, courteous and fast.

They were the worst movers I have ever hired. They refused to move all my items. According to them, I had not given them a complete inventory. My list, though was complete and I had given this to their office. When I called them the day of the move, they gave me the runaround. The truck that came was too small. They did nothing to remedy this situation but lie to me. They spent far too much time at the start, did not move everything and the charge was far higher than estimate. On top of this the movers damaged some of my furniture. Do not believe the mouths at their home office. They sweet talk and walk.

Guys doing the job are fantastic but customer service and management are the worst. Called to discuss volume pricing and how my $600+ job turned into over double that. I got 1 manager who didnt call me back and then his supposed manager who was rude versus listening to my complaint and letting me vent. I realize nothing could be done about the price at this point but it would have gone a long way to keeping a customer had she just listened. When I called back to apologize for my letting her rudeness get to me, I got another “manager” on the phone who was just as bad. Again, guys doing the job are amazing but if you use them be diligent about pricing and know customer service is nonexistent.

They did an excellent job, reasonable in price and I will use them again. I like this company.

The young men that came were very courteous and prompt. They did a great job in very sorry order.

Terrible experience. I called and set a date and time for them to pick up a loveseat. (Saturday 1September between 5:30 and 5:00 pm and would call me 30 minutes before arrival. They never called or showed up . I made several attempts to find out why the no show, but simply got shuffled from one company representative to another.

I had three moving companies decline my job, said it was impossible to move the furniture. College HUNKS didn't blink, did an amazing job. It was difficult, but they knew they could do it. IT was done well, in half the time, and the guys were so very nice. Wish I had called them first!

Everything went great! AJ, Mike and Jason showed up on time, were kind, responsive and got the job done is no time at all. We would definitely hire them again

Worst moving company I’ve ever used. Extremely poor customer service. Unmotivated and untrained staff. Damaged multiple items. Made untrue statements and promises. Did not finish the job as stated. Made unauthorized charges on my credit card. A moving nightmare.

Couldn't have gone any better. We were told the costs could range from $173.00-573.00 but I believed the higher end would have been overcharging us. My daughter was here to greet the men and to pay whatever they billed us. They ended up charging us $373.00 which was right in the middle and a reasonable price for sure! The men were punctual, professional and did everything we asked. I would recommend them to anyone and I've never heard of, or used their service before. This one's a keeper!

The service was spectacular! Austin and Jarrod worked efficiently and quickly. I've had trouble with other movers dinging my walls but not these two. If you want the best, give College Hunks a call and ask for Austin and Jarrod!!

It went well. The guys showed up when they said they would. They were courteous and professional and FAST. It cost exactly what they quoted.

They delivered the storage unit in the time frame as promised. When we unpacked the unit, after having it stored for 2+ months, everything was still in very good shape. There appeared to be minimal shifting, and nothing damaged. Everything in the unit was completely dry. We had a team of 3 young men moving our possessions from one house to another. They were friendly, but professional, and did a nice job of packing up our furniture. They were efficient and did not seem to waste a lot of time.

Espen and Dan were prompt, courteous and efficient. Would recommend to others and use service in the future.

Excellent! Austin, Brendan and Joe were very punctual. polite and professional. They called ahead 15min before their arrival and hauled everything away. I would definitely use them again.

Super, I had SO MUCH junk and Clarence & Derrick from CHHJ were amazing. They fit way more junk into their truck and in no time than I ever thought possible!!

This is the third time we have used College Hunks. The staff is friendly and courteous. They wrap all the furniture so it won't get dusty. Since we have been very happy with their service, we intend on using them for our corporate move.

Aaron and Chris came out and had both items out of my house within 10 minutes. Both were very professional and no issues with getting those bulky/heavy items down the stairs. Will definitely hire again if I need to have items removed.
