Mike came out the very next day after I contacted him. He was very knowledgeable and we got right to work with quotes and acceptances. Mike started his work as promised as well as finished on time. I was very pleased with his communicating with me. His staff did a nice job of making some old tired landscaping look new again. They were professional from start to finish. Okay. Removed plants that they were not supposed to and left behind a large amount of bamboo roots. Was suppose to do an entire landscape project, but we ended the contract when they allowed the subcontractor to go two months without starting/ completing the work.

Sarah Connelly came to assess the situation. She said the ivy and other unwanted plantings could be removed. The crew would let me work alongside them. As they pulled up the ivy and turned over the dirt, I could rescue my bulbs. She designed a light airy garden that butterflies will love in the front yard. The bent trees in the back were replaced by more stable and more attractive-to-butterflies bushes that will grow to provide the same privacy screen for us and windbreak for the butterflies. Juan and his crew built lovely retaining walls to keep the good things in and the weeds out. The guys are true engineers, these walls are a work of art. They were very patient and careful in helping me rescue the bulbs. The new trees and shrubs were all in by the end of the second day. Everything was spic and span and BEAUTIFUL!!

I would call this contractor first for any work within his scope due to a positive overall experience.

I did not hire this company. I met with the owner and found him to be very nice, professional and a wealth of information.

I think they did a really good job. I think they were a little high but they were worth it. As far as I could tell the crew was working every time I went in or out of my house. They just came right in and started. Mike Basile is very nice, polite, clean-cut guy and the crew were good workers. I would use them again.

Mike Basile runs a classy business. They are top-notch, with customer satisfaction as a priority. The crew was incredibly conscientious. They planted grass seed where they had worn the grass and even powerwashed my street to make sure the mud was gone. Mike always returns calls and very hands-on with every step. I don't see how they could disappoint. They didn't stop until we were completely pleased with the work.

I returned home from a trip and found half of my front retaining wall collapsed in the yard. I found Basile on Angie's List. Mike Basile came out that day, gave me a bid on fixing the front retaining wall, and replacing an old tie wall in the backyard. The work was finished the next day. Mike brought out at least 8 workers. They did great work and cleaned up.

The process and service were first rate. Very impressed with owner, right down to the team that worked on our project. Highly recommend.

Sara returned my call the same day and arrived for the bid the following day. Once I accepted the bid, they started the work three days later. The two workers and Sara showed up on time and Sara showed them, what I wanted done. They worked very hard the whole day. I only saw them break once for lunch. They hauled everything away and swept up afterwards. I was very pleased with their work and their cleanup was outstanding.

Basile was great to work with, as always, and did a beautiful job. We did have some scheduling mishaps: I had called several weeks in advance to get an estimate and had to call back after a few weeks passed without hearing from them. Once I did hear from them, they wanted to come out the next day because there was going to be a crew near my house, even though ideally I would have not had the work done for one more week. Once the crew were on site, they were unbelievably industrious. So much so that some of the work that I had not yet agreed to was done before I could say yay or nay. Luckily, the work is of such good quality, it was not a problem. Even though we had two gigantic mountains of mulch in the street before they spread it, by the time they left, there was absolutely no sign they'd ever been there. Not the cheapest, but you definitely get what you pay for!

Mike was a joy to work with. He clearly explained to me the work that would be done. He really listened to my ideas for the project and provided several constructive suggestions. The work crews were professional and cleaned up the work area as well as they could each evening. Overall work quality was good and minor issues were corrected quickly and to my satisfaction.

True to their advertising, Basile Landscaping approached my request with great enthusiasm even though the area was very small. We had just had our porch resurfaced and wanted to have shrubs in the bed area just in front of the porch that would blend with the look and colors of the now ''new'' porch. Sara knew immediately what would look and thrive the best. I respected her expert opinion and accepted the proposal. Basile was able to install the next day. The finished product is lovely. We are very pleased.

The work was done quickly and well. The lawn looks so much better now.
