He does a good job and he is prompt.

I selected two large-appliance repair services with very good rankings on Angies List. I called both. George of A Behrens called back first. He is pretty no-nonsense, but when I explained about our working hours, he said he'd be there at 7:15 the next morning. He was there at exactly 7:15. I described what had been happening. He got to work. A little while later, he explained what had gone wrong. We had turned off the water in the house the previous weekend when we went out of town (we always do that.) The icemaker, he explained, had some water and water pressure left in the line and when it tried to make ice, it didn't have "enough" water so it just "spit", and the water it spit ran down the works and froze, and this created "the noise" when the fan hit the ice. He cleaned out the frozen stuff and put it all back together and now it's working fine. He gave me good advise about what to do regarding water shut off when we leave town (and why it is such a good idea!) I'll call them again without hesitation.

George performed quality service at a fair price.

George Behrens does both large and small appliance repairs. He provides guaranteed service on all brands of icemakers, refrigerators, microwaves, dryers, washers; etc. He is quite good. He is very good. He is very reliable and honest. Since he repairs appliances, it is very nice for me because I don?t have to get new ones. He came out early and fixed what needed to be fixed. He was not expensive. He was very reasonable. He was great. He did exactly what I needed him to do. My washing machine has been wonderful since then. It was a very nice and easy experience. I?d use him again in the future in a heartbeat.

Very rude and arrogant first time on phone with repairman, couldn't understand why I would want to repair a dishwasher, rather than buy a new one. Repairman went to my house the day I called for repair and left after 10 minutes, telling my daughter "I can't fix it" and left, with no other explanation, or communication. I then called to see if he could tell my what the problem was, and would not return my phone calls. Left 3 messages. Horrible experience.

The service went fine. When they came out the first time he checked out the dishwasher and had to order a part. He came back about two weeks later to install the part. They came out very early the second time so that I would not be late for work. He was willing to accommodate and be out to my home at seven fifteen in the morning. They were reasonably priced.

He came and gave us an estimate for the repair. He also told that the appliance was old and suggested that we buy a new one. He was very straight forward and did not charge me any money.

The technician who came was very good He explained many things to make sure I make best use of my appliances and gave me suggestions. He was very informative. The price was reasonable.

Everything seemed fine. I can't think of anything I would want to complain about during my experience with this company. I have not had any problems with my washing machine since the service.

The man was very honest. He told us that he could fix the dishwasher for $200, but advised us to buy a new one to save money, since other parts were going bad as well. I really respected his integrity. We will continue to use them in the future and would recommend them to others.

Excellent experience overall. George said the problem could be caused by a number of items, but he would look at the least expensive first. Turns out that was it. The rubber flange on the chute door had become misshapen and wasn't closing. Charged $8.00 for the part. How good is that?! Service call charge was very reasonable too. While he was here I asked him to take a look at my washer and dryer which were have long-standing problems. He said that since I had adapted to the problems he couldn't recommend spending the $$ it would take to fix them.

They kept after the job until they found the original source of a leak that was hidden under years of flooring. I would use them again in the future.

There was a breakdown in communication from the beginning. He was hard to get a hold of, but he eventually called back. The time frame agreed upon for him to come to the house was pretty vague. I thought he was coming at one time and he came at another. I was not at home and he waited for awhile. He did have my cell phone number, but he did not call it. I called him and when he called me back, I told him I thought we had gotten "our wires crossed". He was very sarcastic and did not try to reset the appointment.

My washing machine was broken, or so I thought. He returned my call less than an hour after I called and he helped me trouble shoot over the phone and discovered I just needed to turn on the water. I really appreciate his honesty,he could have come over and charged me for a service call. You can be sure I'll call him next time I have a large appliance problem.

I was disappointed he would not at least take a look at the refrigerator to see if it was the less expensive relay switch. He recommended I call the original manufacturer even though the refrigerator was out of warranty.

They offered a level of honesty and professionalism that you don't often see anymore.

Mr. Behrens did an excellent job in diagnosing the problem and addressing it.

Mr. Behrens said that the problem had to be a broken electric wire connecting the dishwasher. He found the broken wire and repaired it quickly.

I chose Behrens based on Angie's List references and my experience mirrored all of the positive reviews. My first call was returned promptly. I scheduled the work for a specific day when someone would be home and Behrens was early. The refrigerator leak was due to a design flaw that Behrens had seen in this model and he was able to fix it. He said the dryer was beyond repair for all practical purposes and wasn't worth putting more money into. He was in and out promptly, gave us a full explanation of the situation and fixed what was necessary with a minimum of fuss and muss.

The response time was great. I like that the repairman was honest with me more than anything.

He arrived on time. Knew exactly what was wrong and had it repaired in an hour. Excellent.

As nice as people said he was. Responsive, talked through possible options on the phone before making the service call. Was fast in coming to make the repair.

Phoned us promptly and workmanlike performance. On second visit, George answered promptly, scheduled time. Arrived at time pre-set. Worked quickly to find and fix problem. Very knowledgeable and enjoys what he does.

We elected to get a new machine - so we won't use Behrens Appliance Service this time around, but they'll be the first call we make in the future!
