Charged a service fee. Said it’s toO expensive to repair. Charged me. After looking around I called back to have it repaired snd he said he can’t fix it , he doesn’t know how. He’s a scam. He bought out George Behrens and he’s a TOTAL scam. Happened to 2 other people I know as well. DO NOT CALL

I left a voicemail with A Behrens Appliance Service and he returned my call very promptly. He explained that he does not handle gas leaks and referred me to someone who would. Very professional, very helpful, I would definitely call him again.

Great. George was in and out in no time and the charges were reasonable.

He quickly figured out the problem and it was a $92 repair, much much better than I was expecting!

Before replacing the part, he ran some tests and determined that the dishwasher had another problem, and that given everything that was wrong with it, it would not be economically worthwhile to fix it (would spend more fixing it than if I bought a new dishwasher -- and this one was over 10 years old, so it made sense). I appreciated his honesty. This way, I only paid for the service call.

Mr. Behrens is a jewel and a repair genius. I was fully prepared to hear that the 6 year old vent would need to be replaced but I was sure wrong. As always, he returned my call promptly, arrived next day and on time and got straight to work. He dismantled the broken system which was in a cabinet in a kitchen island and actually, by gosh, fixed it! It was a cam or something. Then he carefully placed foil tape to seal off any leaking air (probably 15 minutes or more) and when he was done, everything worked perfectly (or as perfectly as this poorly-designed piece of junk will ever work.) He's just a top notch service person and an appliance god.

Mr. Behrens is a no-nonsense workman and genuine professional. He returned my call promptly, arrived on time, got immediately to work and worked efficiently and steadily until he had arrived at a diagnosis. He showed me what was wrong with the icemaker that was not fixable (I already knew they only last 5 - 7 years.) He had the necessary replacement on his truck and had the freezer fixed, reassembled and ready to go in less than an hour. THEN, within about 2 weeks we noticed that the icemaker was periodically shutting itself off (the bar would go up into the off position for no apparent reason.) When this had happened several times, I called Mr. Behrens and told him what was going on. It had been about 34 days since he installed it. He came out the next morning and replaced it again without charge.

The parts had to be ordered, which took a week. The job was done well and was a lot less expensive than a new range that would have cost a $1000.00 or more.

promptly returned my call--came on date and time arranged--made sure he had the model number so he would have appropriate parts available--called ahead to tell me he would need 4 feet of space in front of washer--made the diagnosis and completed the job in 30 minutes--extremely competent and personable--will definitely call whenever I need an appliance repaired.

George was great. Direct and to the point. Was very fair and honest, was straight forward with recommendations to replace a 15 year old dishwasher and repair a pump in the washing machine. Would definitely recommend again.

He came up and I had a problem and he did not exactly know what the problem was but he thought he knew it. But the wonderful thing was he came out later when I was having a similar problem and turned out there was nothing wrong with it at all. So he just said to call him if that happens again. He didn?t charge me a nickel for that call and I think that was great. He is a little grouch because he is getting old but that's okay.

He returned my phone call promptly, arrived on time to do the service, got everything fixed and put back into place in a flash.

Extremely well. Refrigerator stopped cooling on Sunday, 9-7. We called Monday morning and our call was returned in 10 minutes. Mr. Behens came over 20 minutes later and it took him 20 minutes to find and fix the problem. The service call was charged at $64.00--the part was $58.00--the labor charge was $11.00 and the rest was sales tax. We will certainly call him the next time we need service on an appliance. We were impressed with his overall knowledge and efficiency.

Very helpful and nice on the phone. With instructions, didn't need. Would definitely use if needed.

Always very competent! I always feel like, when something is not working, the problem is in good, trustworthy hands with Mr. Behrens.

George is my go to guy when appliances break down. Very honest and reliable.

Unfortunately, we were told that the transmission motor was going out on our washing machine. He suggested into buying a new washing machine instead of the repairs.

Sadly, the washer is on its last legs and I chose not to have it repaired. He gave me advice in regard to shopping for a new washer. This is not the first time I have used Mr. Behrens, nor will it be the last! Very satisfied.

It all went very smoothly. George was able to replace the broken part in our oven pretty quickly and put everything back in its place before he left. He also gave us some tips on how to make our oven ?set up? a little more safe ? we bought an old house and there are some things that apparently our home inspection did not call out.

Prompt service. very knowledgeable about the product. Complicated diagnosis, but repaired quickly. Reasonable fee.

George called me back within 45 minutes of leaving message. He had some time right away, so he came right over. He fixed the washer, replacing the broken part. The whole thing was done in about 20 minutes, and the price was very fair.

The gentleman explained that the pump on the washer was of poor design, and it would clog again. When it does, he recommended to just get a new washer. It did, and we did within a year and a half.

Great! He diagnosed the problem and replaced the ice maker.

Right on time. Very knowledgeable. Fixed right the first time.

George returned our phone call that evening and came out the following afternoon. He was very nice and easy to talk to. He determined pretty quickly that the refrigerator needed more repairs than it was worth.
