Description of Work: They removed some old bedding frames and mattresses as well as some odds and ends that were 'junk' items. The service was very professional and the guys did a great job. However, the service was pricey and I will seek bids from them and other suppliers next time.

Description of Work: The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. I was nervous about the cost but it was less than $300 for a lot of stuff that I had to get rid of! The staff even swept my garage floor when they were done.

Description of Work: Superb. I was initially apprehensive that the two men would decline removing several pretty heavy objects from walkout basement up rather steep incline. Not a problem! Well coordinated & planned effort. They moved all items I selected, near truck load, in couple hours. Definitely would use again.

Description of Work: I've used them before and will most likely use them again. They have always been prompt and efficient, and very careful not to hit walls or furniture when removing large items. The price is getting a bit high -- but their business model is very clear. It's hard to turn them away because of cost once they are there and ready to go...

Description of Work: Hauled away several large items from my basement including: console TV, small stand-up organ, tabletop speakers, a desk, a stationary recumbent exercise bike, some chairs and a couple boxes of misc. stuff. There were only two guys and I was worried they couldn't do the job by themselves. WRONG! They were machines! Both gentlemen were very professional, polite and well-spoken. They gave me a quote based on how much of the truck would get filled. He quoted me a price for 3/8 of the truck, based on the items he saw that I wanted removed. He told me that if those items wound up being over 3/8 of the truck, they would stand by the dollar amount originally quoted. After everything was in the truck, there was actually a little more room, so I just started pointing to stuff and the guys took it away, no questions asked. It was great! I wish I could do that with more stuff in life. :) I was very pleased with their service and will definitely use them again, but only when I find a coupon because they are kinda expensive. But it's really worth the price, especially for items that are in hard-to-get-to areas like basements or attics. Those two guys made all that work look easy and they were done in under and hour.

Description of Work: We've used 800-Got-Junk a couple of times before to get rid of mattresses, large items from our garage, a dryer that didn't work and more. There are probably other companies or individuals who charge less, but 800-Got-Junk arrived on time (to the minute), were extremely courteous and professional and were in and out in less than 15 minutes.

Description of Work: Kevin came out within 2 hours of my call. I had told him this was just for an estimate on a small job (mainly a basketball hoop and 15 yard bags of decking lumber). I was greatly impressed with his professionalism and courtesy. Company's pricing is straightforward and its policies were set out very clearly. Ultimately I went with a second bidder, who started with a much higher bid but was willing to underbid his competitor. Although the other guy (another highly rated service) did a fine job, in the future, I'll probably go with 1-800-GOT-JUNK? -- especially for bigger jobs.
