Jerry Kelly Heating & Air Conditioning

I have had a great deal of work performed by Jerry Kelly. Brian Jones spent a great deal of time explaining ventilation systems to me. I had an energy audit performed and found out I had oversealed my home an needed more fresh air intake into the house. After researching on the internet I contacted numerous companies. After getting a very expensive quote from another company for an active system that would meet my needs but would also add to my energy bill through the installation of an powered air handler system (I forget the name of it) Brian took the time to fully explain that, based on my lifestyle and activity that system might not be the best for me. He performed an air quality check on my home and made a recommendation to put in a passive system for more than half the price of the other one. Since it was passive there was no additional yearly cost. The system is meeting my needs and I'm happy to have someone like Brian who takes the time to explain and educate. His goal really was what was best for me. I have gotten to the point that, after a little on-line research to ensure I understand my needs, I tend to go with what Brian recommends. The people who perform the work for Jerry Kelly are always friendly, knowledgeable, professional and neat. They are required to encourage additional services but will back off if you let them know you are not interested. They take the time to explain the system and provide suggestions on the most efficient use as well. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for heating, a/c, ventilation or hot water heaters.

Installer was quiet (I could barely hear them doing the installation), professional, neat and quick. I was provided a briefing on how to activate the pilot light if needed in the future. I now have an a/c, furnace, hot water heater and ventilation (fresh aire) pipe all installed by Jerry Kelly. I also have the yearly maintenance plan they provide. Their extended hours are also a great plus making it easy to get my systems serviced without having to take time from work. One can say I'm a very happy Jerry Kelly customer.

The premise of the service agreement program is that you pay in advance for a summer and a winter service check, and by doing so you'll keep you repair bills down by keeping your equipment under routine maintenance. I have noticed a trend is the past few service checks we have had with Jerry Kelly, over that past few years, that when I am out of town on business, they inevitably attempt to get my wife to sign off on some item that needs "repair" or will "likely fail soon". This last visit was no different - after the technician performed his checks, our humidifier "transformer" was defective and needed to be replaced to the tune of $240. I came home and tested the humidifier and it was working fine - no issues. Additionally, the Jerry Kelly tech had forgotten to turn on the master power switch on the HVAC unit - so it took me a bit to figure out why it was not working when I first got home. It's a scary thought that they do not check the system performance AFTER their routine maintenance. This type of business behavior is disingenuous in the least, but a better name for it is fraud. Time to move on to another service provider.

It went well. The guy who did the installation arrived a little late but he finished up in good time. The price was the same as the original quote. They have good customer service.

Work was performed. I paid over $300.00. Since talking to Jill Kelly, I probably will use them again in the future.

The gentleman that came out was very helpful. The price was a little higher than expect. They came out the same day I called.

Several years ago, we used this company for a similar service and were dissatisfied with an employee's attempt to pressure us to buy unneeded repairs. However, a good friend has boasted of the exemplary service she got from this company. I called about a maintenance check and maintenance plan and got confusing (multiple) prices. I looked for another company on Angie's List, but did not see anything close to Jerry Kelly's consistently high ratings, so decided to give them another chance. Our friend told the repairman she worked with about it. He offered us a free "no pressure" check. We called yesterday (Friday) to set up the check; the service tech was available this afternoon. He spent almost two hours here checking both the furnace and air conditioner. With no pressure, he suggested the replacement of a capacitor that was working slightly below the preferred threshold and a anti-bacterial pad in the drain trough. We agreed to that. The repair was made immediately. He also left information about the extended maintenance plan (2 visits per year), but said nothing more about it. This experience was much better than our first.

Very well. While I hated spending money on the repair (it's a very old unit), Donnie explained everything that he did, gave me the pros and cons of various situations and kept me fully informed of my options. We have not had the unit serviced since we bought the house 4 years ago, and Donnie did recommend that we go with their service plan and explained the pros and cons, but I can tell you that it didn't feel like a sale pitch, rather him informing me of the choices that were available and letting me decide what fits our situation the best. This is the way that these types of companies should offer these types of products. If I was on their service plan, we would have saved some $ on the repairs, but with our unit being as old as it is I just plan on squeezing a few more years (hopefully) of relatively inexpensive operation out of it and then bite the bullet and replace it. They will definitely be the ones I call when it's time for that.

I have been very satisfied with this service. They are prompt and they take care of everything that I need.

Jerry Kelly Heating and AC always responds promptly and professionally and does the work that needs to be done. I have been very satisified with their service. Only one nagging problem, the last 2 years, they always try to "sell" me something else to add to my heat/ac system which is always very expensive. This has created a little doubt in my mind about the focus of the company which I have alway trusted.

I received superb service from them. It took six to eight hours for them to finish the installation. They even made sure to clean up after themselves. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

I liked everything about them. They quoted me a price and stuck to it. Two gentlemen came out and installed it. They came out when they said they would and told me about what time they would be done. They were very professional and did a really nice job. They cleaned up after themselves too.

I like them. They are a top rated company. When they are working in my house they are careful. They are knowledgeable and they know what they are doing. They clean up after themselves after checking the system.

Kelly's office calls to schedule appointments at my convenience. Their service personnel are always on time, clean, professional and customer focused. From time to time I've asked for special services such as advice when we refinished our bathroom. Kelly provided advice free of charge. They have been very responsive to my every request.

Normal service charge is $79. Service charge is doubled if you want service in 1 or 2 days. I waited for the 3rd day. Shane showed up at 7:40 am for an 8:00 am appointment to check a central AC unit that would not turn on. Shane correctly diagnosed a damaged power wire and wanted $389 flat rate to replace it. Another tech would be required to come at a later time to actually repair the wire. He offered to discount the price by $53 and take $10 off the service call charge if I signed up for a $290/yr service contract. I got the impression Shane's role is diagnosis and sales. I declined and asked if he would work on a time & materials basis. He would not. I repaired the wire myself with two hours time, $12 worth of wire, and one trip to the hardware store.

Their service was excellent! I called in the afternoon, and got someone out the very next day, which was rare in the middle of the summer for AC companies, since this is the busy season. They make sure they have extra staff for the summer. When problems arose with installing a slab/retaining wall for the new AC, they did not charge me extra. Job two: We had another company come out and told us we would need to replace our unit. These guys saved us a ton of money by getting the job done the right way. They are very knowledgeable and very professional. We would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I have always been satisfied when they come out. I have been using them for about three years now they have never messed up a job. They are punctual technicians that are very knowledgeable people. I would recommend them to anyone.

They offer impeccable service. I have had them even pick up my paper for me when they arrived. They have actually installed 2 new systems for me in the last 25 years and I have been very content with the service they offer. They have well trained, quality employees who are the type that don't have any dirt under their fingernails.

We actually had this company install a entire new system for us, less than ten years ago. They have also been maintaining it since then. We are very pleased with the way they treat us and feel they will take care of us for a long time to come.

The technician was on time and very knowledgeable. He replaced the part & explained their service plan. It included servicing our AC units & furnace, as well as cleaning the units.

Jerry Kelly's service is superb in all respects. When my previous air conditioning system broke down (during 90 + August temperatures), Jerry Kelly responded quicker than the service I had been using for 7 years (and who I called first). I was particularly impressed by this because I was not an existing Jerry Kelly customer. They were extremely professional, courteous, and informative every step of the way. I don't know when I've ever received such top-notch service, and would not hesitate to recommend them.

All employees were very professional. They gave us an estimated breakdown of repairs of old units. I requested pricing a new system. The representative gave us the option of different levels of equipment and pricing. He then recommended the system that was most efficient for the size of our home. There were no high pressure tactics. Work was completed in one day, including cleanup and there were no loose ends. It was a great experience.

He was uniformed and polite, and he could speak well and was brisk, efficient, very well trained, can answer questions, very knowledgeable, respectful, and will keep your floors clean. He is very honest. He makes every effort to be upfront and fair.

This call was for an emergency. Arrived promptly and was very professional. Did the required work to have us back up with heat. Did not try to sell us services not required.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK PERFORMED. THEY ARRIVED WHEN PROMISED, AND COMPLETED THE JOB EVEN MORE QUICKLY THAN ESTIMATED. THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB OF CLEANING UP AFTER THEMSELVES. THE AIR CONDITIONING HAS WORKED VERY WELL SINCE INSTALLATION. I HAVE NOT STARTED HEATING YET.
