The good people from Green Thumb were beyond excellent -- this is not an easy job and should be entrusted to only the professionals if it's going to last. Green Thumb's quote was very competitive, even after elevating the material to tumbled higher grade. Since their schedules were backed-up for several weeks, they worked on my house Saturdays & Sundays until the work got done. Did I mention this is hard work? By far, the Green Thumb team worked longer (2+ months) and harder than anyone I've had work on my house -- and the outcome is stellar. I've had several friends and neighbors comment on what a fine job they did. In addition, the team was very friendly and polite with me, my family and my neighbors and cleaned up nicely after each work day. If you need retaining walls, walkways, steps (beautiful steps) -- call Green Thumb, you won't be sorry.

purchased through one of Angie's List Great Deal. Appointment was scheduled. Aeration was scheduled for early October; Aeration performed but felt it was still too warm in the season, and plugs were 1" to 1/2" plug. Very disappointed.

Very good. They were able to come to my house in less than a week after making the appointment.

overall, I liked the speed at which the job was performed. They were careful not to harm my home or any shrubbery sourrounding the yard. The used tarps and rakes to clean all of the debris.

The tree trimming went well, but I had asked for a small tree removal in the deal. When the men finished the trimming, they said they would have to come back with other help (3 men total) to be able to handle the tree removal. I never heard from them, and I didn't persue the issue. I figured they would end up charging me more than my Angies Deal cost.

I responed to an Angie's list offer for a very reasonably priced lawn aereation. We have this done every fall. The offer included a"flat" rate for a medium sized yard. We have a corner lot and it is a little larger than some in the neighborhood, but the company performed the service exactly when they said they would and honored the Angie's list price. They were also careful not damage our sprinkler system, as we did have these marked with flags. Overall, it was top rate job and was done exactly when promised by the company.

It went very well considering I have an uneven yard and chain link fences. I would recommend them.

After purchasing the coupon I recieved a phone call from Green Thumb to set up an appointment. Very accomodating to fit my schedule. Arived on appointed day, aerated and reseeded lawn. I certainly would use Green thumb again.

After I purchased the service, I called the Landscaping company to schedule my appt. They set it up for while I was working, as I didnt need to be there with them. They aerated the yard and did a really good job.

They arrived on the day and time frame that was agreed upon. I would have liked to have a few more passes on the lawn with the machine but overall the job was completed to my satisfaction.

The three man crew worked quickly and efficiently. They cleaned up all debris. They knew their landscaping.

This was only for mowing and they came when they said they would. No problems.

I PURCHASED A SERVICE BY ANGIE'S LIST. THE COMPANY ASSERTED THAT IT HAS COMPLETED THE SERVICE. THE COMPANY DID NOT HAVE MY APPROVAL FOR THE DAY THEY MIGHT HAVE COMPLETED THE SERVICE. AT THAT DAY I WAS ABROAD. ON MY REQUEST THE COMPANY DECLARED THAT THE SERVICE MIGHT BE COMPLETED ON A DAY I WOULD APPROVE. THIS WAS IN AUGUST OR SEPTEMBER 2012. UPON MY CALL IN OCTOBER 2012 THE COMPANY TOLD ME IT IS NOT GOING TO COMPLETE THE SERVICE. THE PURCHASED PURCHASED SERVICE WAS VALID AT LEAST TILL JANUARY 2013. FOR THAT REASON I REQUESTED THE MONEY BACK. THE COMPANY RETURNED THE FULL AMOUNT I PAID TO ANGIE'S LIST. BUT FOR ME THE SERVICE REMAINS NOT COMPLETED.

Fine except they crushed the plants in one of our planters.

Bought a buy now coupon for aeration. They emailed me to confirm that I bought the coupon along with a general time of when they would come out. . I asked for a quote for additional service of overseeding and I accepted. I receieved a call confirming when they would come out. They came out and did their thing as scheduled. They left instructions on how to care for my lawn. I would hire them again.

Green Thumb called to acknowledge purchase of deal. They gave me an estimate of when the work would be done and that they would call in advance. They later called and gave me the date of service. The work was performed as described. I use Green Thumb also to cut my grass and they are wonderful. They always show up on the day scheduled and usually at the same approximate time. They cut the grass even in the rain...unless it is a torrential downpour. They are the most reliable company I have ever used with extremely competitive pricing.

The service was great. I wasn't around and didn't actually see them do the work, but they were very good with follow up as far as communication goes. As far as I can tell, they did a great job. They honored the coupon which I appreciated. If they would have made it a little bit more personalized it might have stood out more.

Very well. I was completely satisfied. They called 6 hours in advance to say when they'd be there, and arived at that time. Prise was reasonable.

Company telephoned to advise me of schedule and completed the work when promised. I would recommend them.

Arrived on time and results of the service were very good

The work was done to our satisfaction - very nicely, in fact. The thing I didn't like was that the contractor postponed the work twice. The work took several hours and the area was neat and clean when it was done. I was offered an upgrade to the "polymetric sand" for $90 but declined, as the paved area is totally below roof overhang and will therefore not be subject to much water.

A team of four men arrived to do the aeration. Two men did the front lawn and two men did the back yard. They were through in about twenty men. They cleaned up after they were finished. Overall they came in and what they had to do. They left both yards as clean.
