Description of Work: The company came early to cut off four limbs from my neighbor's black walnut tree which were encroaching over my property line and roof. They performed their work quickly and efficiently. They mulched all tree limbs and clean up all of the leaves and twigs in the the yard before leaving. I am truly satisfied with this company's work.

He also let me know that since two of the stumps were dead the trees would not grow back any way so there was no sense in removing them. He was very honest and he did a very good job.
Description of Work: Dorsey Tree Service cut down two crabapple trees and two maple trees from my yard. He took out two of the four stumps.

 + -1 moreI called Dorsey Tree Service on Monday afternoon to request an estimate for removal of downed limbs from storm damage. Mr. Dorsey came to give me an estimate Tuesday morning, and said he could get to it before the end of this week. I called yesterday (Wed.) to say I would like him to do the job. He came to do the work today (Thursday), as promised, and called last evening to tell me when he'd be there. The work was completed promptly by Mr. Dorsey and one assistant. Both were very friendly, courteous and professional. All limbs and brush were removed and shredded onsite and the price as given in the estimate. Electric & phone lines were not disturbed; he moved a bird bath and feeder and replaced it when the work was done. The entire job was completed in 2 hours. I would definitely recommend Dorsey Tree Service and I plan to have them back for any other related work here. I am totally satisfied and pleased with their service.
Description of Work: Removal of several large broken limbs, some still attached high up in a huge ash tree, some lying across limbs on an adjoining maple, which also had a few broken limbs that had to be taken down. All brush and limbs were removed (chipped) on site.

 + -1 moreThey came the same day at a time when everyone in the city and county needed tree removal. They are always very polite and clean-up after their work. The price was so very reasonable. We will call them again if we need them. I think they may have come a bit quicker because of the previous work they had done for us which happened to be the lowest bid we had received.
Description of Work: We have had this service once in the past to remove a huge tree. We called them again after the terrible storm of 7/19/06. They came the same day we called and gave a very reasonable estimate which we accepted. They removed big branches of our neighbor's tree which had fallen on our house and done damage. They also cut up a tree which was ours and had fallen at the same time.

Description of Work: I had a huge large tree in my front yard removed. Dorsey was $500 or more cheaper than all the other estimates.

 + -1 moreOverall, this was a good experience. The quote I received was far less than any of the others (I had 5 estimates from other tree services who had received good feedback on Angie's List.) Quotes ranged from $150 to $400, so it was a very wide range. He called back promptly and arrived on the day promised on time. He had all of the necessary equipment and did a very good job. I found the clean up to be acceptable but not great. For this price, I was happy to pick up a few stray branches. This guy knows what he's doing and is professional.
Description of Work: I had two trees trimmed and a small tree removed with the stump ground.

 + -1 moreHE CAME AND GAVE AN ESTIMATE ON THE DAY HE WAS CALLED. HE IS VERY POLITE. HE CALLED TO LET US KNOW WHEN HE WAS COMING. WE ARE EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH HIS WORK. AS PREVIOUSLY STATED, HIS WAS, BY FAR, THE LOWEST PRICE.
Description of Work: REMOVED A HUGE (AT LEAST 60 FT.) HONEY LOCUST TREE. HIS WAS THE LOWEST BID WE RECEIVED. HE GROUND UP THE TREE AND LEFT NO MESS BEHIND. WE WERE VERY IMPRESSED WITH HIS WORK. HE WORKED RIGHT OVER THE ELECTRIC LINES IN THE BACK OF OUR HOME. YOU COULD REALLY TELL THAT HE KNEW JUST WHAT HE WAS DOING. MUCH TO OUR AMAZEMENT THE WHOLE PROCESS ONLY TOOK A FEW HOURS. IT WAS SUCH A RELIEF TO HAVE THE TREE GONE AS IT COULD HAVE BECOME A REAL DANGER TO US AND OUR NEIGHBOR.
