The original cost was some $300. They reduced it to $200. But it was still over the price that I had said. It took them a few hours to replace the part. There were no unexpected issues. I had requested that they call if it was going to cost more than a certain price and they failed to do so.

This is the second time I have used Garner. I was lucky and had the same Tech James. He replaced the fan motor in our A/C unit and did complete system check. Good people to deal with from the front end to the Techs. I received my 10% off from Angie on the part and that's enough for dinner tonight. Thanks again, Garner and James.

Great, perfect - I did this kind of work 40 years ago so I knew exactly what was needed.

Installers arrived on time. Worked quickly and completed installation in 1/2 the time quoted by the company. Very courteous and respectful at all times.

Ken performed the estimate and he installed the water heater.

Three service technicians arrived on time, removed old heat pump outside & inside. Installed new digital thermostat. Very professional!!! Would highly recommend!!

All work was completed within the same day & old units were disposed of by Garner.

My AC went out on a Friday, so Monday morning I already had Garner in mind. When I called I was crushed to find out that they were booked solid all day, but I had been put on a standby list. Within 30 mins they had called back and told me they would be by in the afternoon.Then they started to ask and dig into the problem because their shop is 40 mins away and they wanted to make sure they had the correct parts. We had told them it was the blower because everything turned on except the blower. At about 3 pm Rocky showed up and introduced himself shook hands and got to work. He got to the unit and started the testing and agreed that is was the blower motor which he replaced, and hooked it all back up and STILL nothing. I though there was a larger problem. Rocky started to test some more relays, tracing power, when BAM he finds a relay was out. The unfortunate thing was he didn't have one in his van, luckily one of the other techs lived out towards my house and was getting ready to leave the shop, and said he would drop off the much needed relay. Then Rocky states I bet that old motor was good and proceeded to put the old motor back in. When the relay arrived and it was a matter of minutes before I had a full functional Air Conditioning unit. So the cost was $20 dollars for the relay and Rocky only charged an hour of Labor. This crew was amazing! They could have just charged me the new motor and relay, but Rocky dug down deep and found the actual problem. Thanks!

Ethan was who I primarily communicated with on this job. His crew and himself were very professional in the way they handled themselves. I am a Do-It-Yourselfer and I when I do stuff I like to ensure perfection and I was glad to see these installers had the same mindset. I watched over them through a lot of the job because I like to learn stuff (while ensuring I stayed out of theirway). They did excellent work and were courteous through the entire project.

First time I have used Garner, but it sure won't be the last. Prompt fast service, professional and a very reasonable rate for the work preformed. I highly recommend Garner!

Emergency Furnace Fix - After Hours Friday Night At 8:25 PM my husband said he could not get the furnace to start after trying everything he knew and changing the filter. I checked Angie's List for the name of a reliable Heating & Cooling service agent. Garner Refrigeration had 24 reviews and an A rating. They stated they performed emergency service and this was an emergency! Bracing for another winter storm with snow & sleet and the temp is dropping fast! He called the main number and the recording gave a number for an emergency repairman. He asked if my husband had tried certain things to start the furnace to avoid an unnecessary service call. Hubby had done them all. The repair man said the cost would be $118 and he would come right away. Call ended at 8:35 PM. James arrived with a tool belt and a smile at 8:47 PM. Wow!! At 9:00 PM he knew it was a bad fan motor and went to the truck for a new motor. Hubby thought it might be the fan motor because the furnace was still hot with fire but the fan would not blow. By 9:35 PM the new fan was installed and the furnace was pumping heat into the house! James replaced the fan motor in the casing and the capacitor so the multi HP fan would work with our furnace. He even cleaned part of the igniting system so our system will work for a long time! By 9: 47 (1 hour) he had presented the bill and was out the door. Total cost: $332.90. Would we call Garner again? Oh, yes! Nice call Angie's List! You and Garner saved us from a cold winter weekend!

My gas furnace and electric baseboards were not working. Garner sent out a technician to fix both in 2-3 hours. The gas furnace has a faulty flue valve, and the baseboards had a burnt out connection. Unfortunately, the flue valve needed some more tweaking, so Garner sent the technician out a second time at no charge. I'm satisfied, and would recommend them.

Work is excellent. They don't cut corners but expect to pay for quality work. They are responsive and professional.
