Great they came out sprayed my tree and took care of my lawn and the tree was looking like I was going to lose it but after they sprayed it it came back in a few days!

They fertilize and weed/feed my lawn. They use hoses instead of a spreader. They are very cavalier when it comes to the treatments and are not very thourough. They are usually only here for about 5 minutes when they do the treatments. They have a heavy emphasis on sales and the treatment is lackadaisical. They seem to be more focused on business than customer service. We have used their services for 2 years now and the lawn is looking better than it did previously, however, I haven't been very satisfied with the service because I don't have very much confidence in them. They do offer some services that I did find useful, especially when it comes to our aeration of the reseeding, but overall I haven't been very impressed.

I've signed up with ProTurf for a year of lawn treatment, along with fall aerating, verticutting and seeding. So far, so good! The only reason I put a B on quality is because I'm reserving judgment a bit on the seeding. Some of the new grass looks fantastic, and there are some areas that haven't come in yet. I'm still hopeful it will fill in in those areas. If not, I'm confident they will make it right. They've been helpful with questions and responsive to calls. Looking forward to a much improved lawn!

The do a pretty thorough job, not as well as they used to, but they do a thorough job. Their prices are comparable with anything else. They are always out here on time.

We have used them for a number of years and we have been very pleased with the results. The lawn has looked great for years, I have been very pleased.

Contacted Pro Turf, as well as several other lawn services, and decided they would best serve our needs. They provide quarterly fertilizaton and seeding services. Work has been completed as scheduled.

What a dreadfully awful company. No I did not ever purchase any products from them, but when I came home I received an invoice on my door for a full application of winter fertilizer to my lawn. Reading the invoice closer they had applied it to the WRONG house. This really concerned me because I had just applied my own winterizer fertilizer and after looking at my lawn sure enough a lot of my young shoots of grass that I replanted this fall have turned brown and are dying (I realize it is fall but I'm still mowing my lawn every week out here). I called this company up to let them know about their error and I was told to just disregard the invoice. When I asked about my concerns with the double application of fertilizer I was told not to worry about it. I then politely said that they should make sure to be more careful in the future. The lady on the phone then turned very hostile and said "look I told you we were sorry, accidents happen". I was strongly taken aback as I had not shown had any hostility at all up to this point and was simple looking for them to acknowledge their error and assure me it wouldn't happen again (let alone let me know if I had any complications to my lawn that they might be willing to help me with it, something I never did ask). Needless to say I would NEVER deal business with a company like this that treats people this way, especially when they are 100% in error and I recommend you not do so either. Who knows what they would do to your lawn if you gave them the chance.

Had a less-than-positive experience last year, but then I got talked nto it again this Spring with all sorts of promises and explanations. After last year felt they were only so-so effective, especially on the weed control; their response then had been along the lines that Nebraska, and particularly Millard wherre I live, had all been native grasses and weeds at one time, what did I expect? Also, felt they talked us into tree treatments last year way too late in the year to have any positive effect, and in fact coincidentally one of our trees began dying almost immediately after their 1st treatment of it. Probably coincidental, but... Then this Spring the alleged owner called to reassure me, promise extra care, etc. and I figured what the heck, give them 1 more shot, last year could have been an anomaly, etc. So we used them again this year, but our lawn lloks terrible. Of course the drought is mainly to blame, but my lawn looks absolutely no better than my neighbors who don't do anything or very little. Plus i have some other neighbors who have used another service (the name slips my mind) for $5 less per treatment, and they have been quite satisfied (and their lawn looks pretty good!). Side note: I have seen absolutely no difference in my trees from before they were getting treated. So I am not going to use Pro Turf again. On the positive side, I will say that Pro Turf always called the day before they were coming out for a treatment, and left a placard in the yard to show they had been there. Sometimes I questioned how much product they actually used, and I usually felt the timing of their visits had more to do with their convenience than the needs of the lawn, but that's a problem endemic to any of these larger services - it's all about volume and their schedules, not yours or the lawn's. Also, they are in fact based out of MO, NOT NE, no matter what they might try to tell you, and I think from now on I will only use smaller, local companies. IN CONCLUSION, while I found NE Pro Turf's services "OK" and I know from other reviews that others are satisfied, I just personally am not thrilled and will be switching for 2013 - or doing it myself.

In mid August I was called to see if we would like to have our yard aerated. We did ask to have this service performed. The guy that called stated there would be a $99 charge. Early September (Labor Day weekend) was when we were told the work would be completed. The aeration and seeding were performed on time. My issue is that before the work was done I asked the sales associate if they took precautions for flower beds and gardens. I was told emphatically YES that they would cover flowers and garden areas so no seeds would get there. 3 weeks after the work was performed I noticed grass growing in my front yard flower gardens. I have 2 of them and both have HEAVY grass growing. I called Pro Turf and informed them. I also asked that if a tech was sent out that they not spray so they would not affect my existing plants and flowers. A tech came out and sprayed and left a note on my door stating so. I called Pro Turf again to complain but this time the person on the phone didnt seem to care. They apologized but offered to do nothing to resolve my issues. The guy explained that I got the job done for $99 and it should have been $125 to which I disagreed. Today, October 11th I still have grass growing in my flower gardens and in the cracks of my driveway and sidewalk. I also noticed they missed a portion of my back yard completely. No aeration or grass. Very poor service and I do not recommend them.

We pay them for the whole year, their price is reasonable. We are going to use them again this year.

I have been using them for about a year. They are good. All of the products seem to work very well.

The company was not very punctual. They would just show up when they wanted to show up. They did a weed treatment that didn't work. It took months to get them to come back to our house. The price was reasonable for the services they provided.

They come out during the growing season. We have used them for 10 years or more. I have been extremely pleased with them. They are really good about calling me in advance of a treatment and telling me what they will be doing. They keep an eye on local conditions and if there are any special treatments that we should consider having they call and give us the option for that. They have done a great job with our yard and I have never regretted switching from my old company to them. I will use them again in the future.

We are kind of on a contract but we pay them per application. We will continue to use them.

I used these folks at my old house in Liberty. After 1 year I noticed a dramatic difference -- I was mowing the lawn every 4-5 days the grass was so healthy. I had the best lawn on the street. All my neighbors' lawns would start burning up by late August but not mine. I have now moved to a more upscale neighborhood and almost all my neighbors have nice lawns. I am a bit behind their lawns as my house was empty for 3 years with no lawn care aside from just mowing the grass. With Pro Turf on my team I will catch my neighbors by next year and at a very reasonable price. I find Pro Turf to be very reliable, competitively priced, knowledgable and very responsive to phone calls/questions on how to improve your lawn. I have shopped/used many other companies and won't use anyone else.
