Company falsely showed up to my property and applied products. Then tried sending me a bill for these unrequested services. They have now harassed me with calls to the point I am filing complaints and leaving reviews.

Good, I got great discount from them.

This was the second year I used this services. I have never had more weeds in my lawn that I did this year. They didn't treat near the edges of my lawn at all, lawn is full of crab grass and other weeds. They came out twice for one particular service and still no improvement. I have to believe they never even applied the pre-emergent I paid for.

I told them I wanted 12 or 13 of my ASH trees treated. Phil came out when I was not home and marked 42 of the 200 trees in my yard with blaze orange paint. Said he did it on the side facing the house so I could see which ones needed treating. I'm not talking a small orange dot - I'm talking 5' wide by 18" high in the middle of my trees. 30 of the trees he marked were walnuts and elms. I asked if the rain would wash that off and he said "Oh, yes, it's biodegradable" Well, after a month of hard rain it was still very blaze orange. I called the company and asked them to come out and take care of this ugly mess. They said they would be out the following Saturday. No show! I waited 2 weeks - still no one came out, nor did they contact me about coming back. I called again. The lady that answered said, "Oh, yes there is a work order here for you." I said OK - thank you. Please have them call when they are coming. Two more weeks - no call - no show. Called again. "Oh, yes there is a work order here for you." I said I don't a work order, I want someone out here now. I asked for a manager - got voicemail - left a message - still no reply. It's been three weeks since I left the message. Do not use this company. Once they have your money their service is terrible. It's been too long to dispute the charge on my credit card so I am stuck with blaze orange walnut and elm trees. At least no one will shoot them during hunting season.

Best looking lawn on the block! Killed the weeds, reseeded where the weed kill made the ground bare, stopped what I think were grubs, and now I have thick green lawn...even between the sidewalk and street where the salt ends up...payment was monthly, amount shown is total for the year

It's a whole growing seasons long. They do one thing and then another. They come out every month during the growing season. I've been using them for several years.

The cost varies depending on the chemicals and so forth.

Hard to reach any one and couple times miss backyard. They started not check if anyone was home the last few times they came out I took day off to talk about lawn in person since reaching by phone to discuss lawn was almost impossible

Their price is a little high. They don't set a time. They come and do it and I don't even have to be here. Their professionalism is good. I never find anything that looks bad when I get home. I have used them for several years.

They are very dependable and leave detailed information as to what service they perform on each visit. Any time that we contacted them about a concern, they responded quickly and took immediate action.

They are a very good company. They have done a great job for me for the last three years.

Decent, don't always get the same techs. And techs don't always knock or leave a sign in the yard

Fairly well. Cost is about average. I'd rate their overall effectiveness better than most. Applications are typically performed at correct time of year with outcomes as expected. Usually about one call back per season for weed control. Call backs are handled with minimum hassle. Don't care for the constant "upselling" of additional lawn care services and especially their pest control service. Long term customer with no compelling reason to change at this time.

I get the impression they are a solid and honest company, just don't know how to deal with customers. For the shrub service, I experienced a gap between what I was told by the seller and what happened. The Pro Turf staff went to great lengths to prove I was in the wrong. Reality was there was shared blame that I recognize, but didn't appreciate being treated like I was criminal when I had a legitimate beef with what the seller told me and the difference I found when I spoke with the technician who served me. The staff and their management were 100% focused on what I could have done better and they were unbending in acknowledging that they had at least partial blame in a disagreement. I was not happy with the results of their lawn treatment program. They come less than other providers and when I complained the staff pointed the finger at me for not calling me back. Sorry, but I have never had to call back lawn care providers for retreatment. I picked weeds all summer. My neighbors didn't have the same problem with different providers.

I started using Puerto turf three years ago. My lawn was not bad, I just wanted it to look better. I've complained more than once each year about the weeds not going away. They would come out and do a respray and then come out in another two weeks and charge me for another treatment when the weeds haven't gone away from the previous two. Each year I cancelled them but they would come back at the beginning of each year making more promises. I've had enough, my lawn has never looked this bad in the 6 years I've lived here. I don't know how long it's going to take to get my lawn back. Should have stuck with Scott's!

In the beginning (early Spring) it seemed normal with nothing out of the ordinary. When Spring turned into Summer I noticed too many weeds for a yard that was relatively weed-free before I hired Pro Turf. I called and spoke of my concerns. They came out and sprayed again. The weeds started dying off. So it seemed. I'd like to mention I pulled a ton of weeds to help Pro Turf combat the problem in the back yard. I figured it couldn't hurt and only help them get a handle on an area never once treated. Once it appeared my weed pulling and their spraying had stopped the growth of weeds, I retreated. At this point it had gotten very hot and difficult for me to mow due to my health issues. A friend took over mowing thus the reason I hadn't noticed the recurrence of weeds around my air conditioning unit again. A representative called in regards to having the company verticut and or aerate my yard. I agreed to the back yard. As time passed and weeds still popped up I decided to cancel the appointment. I couldn't fathom paying more money to a company I wasn't happy with. Unfortunately, they hadn't received my cancellation notice in time. Two men showed up the day after I cancelled. I stepped outside to greet them and expressed my dissatisfaction with the results of prior services. I proceeded to point out places where weeds were growing. They said they understood, apologized and would pass on my dissatisfaction. As of today I haven't received a follow-up call.

The provider recommended a fungicide and insecticide for our trees and shrubs. The treatment was applied. When the technician arrived at our house, he immediately tried to upsell us on an iron treatment for one of our trees. We declined as an arborist had already visited in the spring and did not recommend iron for that tree. The next day after the fungicide/insecticide treatment, a different technician visited our house and also recommended we have the treatment just done the day before--but with different insects listed. I began to get a bad feeling about the whole thing and wanted to consult our arborist (which I probably should have done to begin with). We called our licensed arborist out to look at one of our trees that had cracked bark and asked about the recommended treatment from ProTurf. She told us the only damage we had to our trees was from hail--no insect or fungus damage. I spoke with 3 different managers from ProTurf and they all told me something different. First I was told that all evaluators are licensed arborists and it is their word against the other arborist. Then, I was told by the person who evaluated my trees that he is not a licensed arborist but has been doing this since he was 18. He apologized if the damage he detected was not from fungus or insects and said he would never recommend we have a treatment that we didn't need. (BUT, he did. He didn't have the knowledge necessary to tell us the correct diagnosis and therefore should not have been recommending the service). A third manager said that even if the treatment was unnecessary, it was still helpful to our trees and shrubs because it could protect us from future fungus or insects. At NO time did any of the three managers offer to waive the fee for the treatment that was not needed in our yard. I have noticed that the company frequently tries to upsell from the basic lawn care package which sounds like a reasonable price. But, add in all of the extras and you end up paying more. On top of the issue we had with the fungus/insect treatment, our yard this year looked terrible. The monthly visits we paid for made no visible difference to our yard, and I spent a large chunk of time every week pulling weeds and little seedling trees out of our lawn--something that should have been covered by the pre-emergent that was applied in the spring or by the monthly weed sprays.

It seemed to take care of our spider problem inside and outside.

Their arborist was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Gave us several tips on caring for some of the shrubs/tree's.

The first application I was still home, and they were very thorough. After a few weeks my lawn started looking quite a bit better. (I take good care of my lawn) Then after the second treatment my lawn started growing more weeds. 3 weeks layer it looked worse than before I hired them. Called a manager and complained. He apologized and said they would get out there asap. That was a week ago, and I see there trucks drive by my house all the time

I have used them for the past three or four years on all lawn application services and was extremely pleased until this last fall. I'm not sure if they changed ownership or employees or what but it's horrible. On 10/14/2015 I had the aeration and seeding service done but it was horrible with hardly any trace of aeration being done. I called and they came back out on 11/04/15 and reseeded but did not aerate. On 2/25/2015 they supposedly did the early spring lawn application of seeding and treating of weeds but there were hardly any seeds on my bare spots so again I called and they came back on 3/31/2016. This still required me to go buy more seed. AND my weeds are out of control this Spring. They do not advise ahead of time that they are coming... the only indication that they have been there is a sign in the yard and a bill in my door. I will not be using them again. I'm so upset with them as this has been a waste of my time and more importantly, my money.

I picked up the phone to call the company at 11:20 am for a quote, and at 1:30 pm everything was completed. The removers had trouble to find my place, but still the whole process went smoothly. Everyone in this company I encountered was professional and friendly. Although the price is beyond the range I thought, the experience makes me feel that if needed I would definitely use this company again.
