Description of Work: I have an on-going lawn service program with them. They do various lawn and tree services.

Rude customer service person---& weeks before management or ownership returned my call. After cancellation of the service I have been called with offers. |(bad experience probably tainted my overall rating)

Description of Work: They knocked on my door to be sure I knew they were going to do the fertilizer, so I could get my cat inside first - I had requested this for every time they come. And, they do that faithfully. Also,they had come a day earlier and I had people working around the house, so asked if they could wait and return before the end of the week and they did that. I have had a couple of neighbors ask me who I use and they have started having Pro Turf.

Description of Work: General lawn care - fertilizing, weed & insect control. Met with representative within 7-10 days from purchasing their Angie's List special deal for 8-9 treatments. Service started about 2 weeks later. Representative was professional and courteous. Service techs were professional and pleasant. On initial meeting we discussed evaluation and care of one particular tree. The service purchased was supposed to cover one treatment for trees and shrubs. I wanted an extra treatment for the tree discussed and was willing to pay extra for it. Later in the summer 2014 we noticed an area of this tree dying. My wife and I called separately to schedule a treatment on this tree. We were told it was scheduled, however no one ever came. That's the reason for the low responsiveness rating. Did the treatment myself. Grade could have been higher if they had called before each service to let us know when they were coming. As far as I know we received the number of treatments we purchased. The grass did look much better due to their service, but I did not resume Pro Turf service the following year.

Description of Work: Our yard was in terrible shape due to years of neglect on my part. I last bought a very expensive DIY plan about 10 years ago from a well known local company and did not get results thus wasn't sure how to treat the lawn. A representative from Pro-Turf stopped by very early in the year and discussed a whole year plan that was close in cost of the DIY plan so I signed up. We are very pleased with the results so far. In just a few months our lawn looks almost as good as some in the neighborhood that spend tremendous amounts of time on their lawns! All I have done is cut ours. I have contacted the office four times with questions/concerns and have been pleased with their professionalism and courtesy. They always give 24 hour notice before coming to service via an automated phone call with the option to reschedule if inconvenient. The last application date it was raining so I figured they wouldn't show so I ran errands and didn't think much of it. I was surprised to find our tech waiting for the rain to stop so he could go ahead with the application. He assure me the rain was actually a good thing for what he did that day and completed the application after waiting about an hour. That is service rarely seen today! I will sign up again next year because I am convinced these people know what they are doing and my lawn will continue to improve.

Description of Work: We are on a schedule with them. They call the night before to remind us they are going to treat the lawn. Our lawn has never looked as gorgeous until Pro Turf. Period!
