CW Flooring

I signed up for the installation of 400 sq. ft. of hardwood flooring for $900. Shannon called me within a day, or so. We made an appointment for her to come by to see the area and take measurements. She was on time and was professional. She advised me of several things that could be done to make the job look better. She took notes and measurements. She said she would call me in a couple of days, which she did. We set up the appointment for installation. Chris and the crew showed up on the appointed day and time. We talked about some details while the crew got the tools set up. Then they went right to work. There were one, or two, minor details through the day, but it went off like clockwork, for the most part. The job was completed that day. They cleaned the floor and the cutting area when they had finished. The guys were a pleasure to have around and they did excellent work. Thanks to CW Flooring, I have two of nicest floors around. I would not hesitate to use their services again.

Shannon did an excellent job in providing samples for hardwood floor. The crew that came in on scheduled date were all very professional. They answered all my questions. The crew cleaned up at the end of each day with very little obstruction for me. The crew moved furniture and returned them in place. The job was completed as scheduled. Overall, the experience was very positive.

I would highly recommend CW Flooring. We typically get multiple estimates before starting a project, but after meeting with Shannon for our estimate we decided we did not need other estimates. We felt their prices were fair and enjoyed working with her from the start. Chris and his crew showed up every day on time, they were professional and courteous. They met my requests, even when I changed my mind on one part of the project, and every member of his crew paid close attention to detail. I really appreciated how they kept me informed and did the job the right way not the easy way.

We are very pleased with the outcome and overall job Chris and his team did for us.I found CW Flooring here on Angie's List and called them because of the good reviews they have received. We had other bids but liked the way Chris explained the work and also felt they were very affordable for the amount of work so chose them. Absolutely no regrets. We had already purchased the hardwood and and they furnished the, baseboard, quarter round and did the install.The work was done in a timely manner and the attention to detail was second to none. Chris is very professional but yet personable knowledgeable, and will spend extra effort make sure the work is done right and to the customers satisfaction. They were prompt trustworthy and I would recommend them to anyone who cares about receiving quality work at an affordable price. We will definitely use them again for our future flooring needs.

It went very well - in a word: fabulous. We couldn't be happier. The entire project was handled in a totally professional manner. We were, in addition, very happy with the choices we had in wood through Pro-Source, one of the places they use at wholesale prices. The extras were really great - trying to match grout with the fireplace and the kitchen floor, installing pads on the furniture, moving the piano and taking care to put it back where we wanted it - little extras with the question, "Is there anything else we can do?" They showed up absolutely on time, cleaned up after the first day - and, of course, after the work had been completed. Hauled away old carpet, etc., and anything else connected with the project that we didn't want to keep. We highly recommend them.

The installers were very prompt, courteous and efficient. They did a great job and we will not hesitate to use this company for all our future flooring projects.

A slight glitch but it was taken care of in a timely manner

Chris and Shannon were great to work with. They kept me up to date on all the changes and plans. They stayed late to get the job done in 3-4 days work. They were also very good about cleaning up after each day's work so we could still use that area. Shannon was great at helping me choose flooring and the look I wanted for my stairs. I will definitely use them again when we decide to finish the rest of our home.

The work went great and they were wonderful. They came in immediately and evaluated everything quickly. I saw some of their work previously and that sold me on using them for my project. I’d already bought the flooring from another store and they installed it within a day and a half. When I originally bought the flooring they had their contractors come out to try and install it. They kept coming out and said it was too difficult; this went on for two months so I decided to find someone else. They did a great job where the big box store contractors just didn’t have it together.

I was very pleased with my experience with CW Flooring. They were prompt, friendly and fairly priced. There was a flaw in the original flooring that was sent and the installer pointed out the problems to me. They are very concerned about the quality of their work and reputation - even though they lost time and effort on the job. The flooring was re-delivered and the new product installed promptly. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for flooring installers.

In short - Great work! People like the Webbs are the reason we use Angie's list. They were competitively priced, honest, took pride in their work and therefore "no corners were cut" (expect for on the tiles - no pun intended ;)). The team took extra care to make sure all our products were properly covered and protected, including the car in the garage where the tiles were being cut. Mr. Webb is very knowledgeable and more importantly creative about tile laying. We will enjoy this work for many years to come and will strongly recommend him for any type of flooring work.

Shannon was very attentive, knowledgeable and accommodating. Her team was very efficient and detailed oriented. Since they also added new base trim and vent covers. They also left my home practically dust free after sanding was done. The end product is gorgeous.

I contacted CW Flooring as they do have an outstanding rating on Angie's List. Shannon was our contact person both on the phone and thru e-mail. She was polite and professional and was adept at asking specific questions about the project. Chris was also courteous and very professional. He arrived around 9am and got right to work. In addition to the floor installation we asked that they provide and install the quarter round molding as well. He made sure we were satisfied with the color before he stained it all. One of the first things he did was to remove the noises between the sub floor and the joists(something I'd asked him to do). He started laying the floor from the living room wall to wall carpeting toward the main kitchen area and was able to utilize the existing transition strips(looks great) and proceeded to lay the flooring making sure it was properly installed under both the dishwasher and the stove. As he got to the end of the install and laid the floor underneath the kitchen door transition strip, he had to remove the door three different times, cart it to the garage work area and back, making sure he only took enough of the bottom of the door to clear the strip and not create a huge gap. After the floor installation, he precisely cut and installed the molding. Given the kitchen configuration, some of the molding strips were no more than three or four inches in length. Afterward, he cleaned up both the kitchen and the garage areas. We are very pleased with the end result and give an outstanding recommendation to Shannon and Chris Webb.

My wife and I recently contracted with CW Flooring for the installation of Mannington 5" plank pecan engineered flooring that we had purchased from NFM earlier in the summer to complete our kitchen, great room, dining room and hallway/closets renovation project. Shannon Webb was our point of contact and performed all the measuring and picture taking for the preparation of their proposal. Of the three bids we solicited, CW Flooring provided the most comprehensive and price competitive bid. On October 9, 2014 Chris Webb and his crew began the installation of a beautiful, pecan engineered wood floor in our home. The installation took about two and a half days to complete, including the installation of the quarter-round that we had painted prior installation. Of special note on this install, there was an irregularity in one of the kitchen floor joists that created a slight crowning in the sub-floor that Chris was able to plane down to level the sub-floor. Problem solved. We are very pleased and impressed that he and his team spent quite a bit of time preparing the sub-floor surfaces, cutting the planks and laying them out prior to installation to ensure a visually appealing design. My wife and I are absolutely thrilled with the work done by Chris Webb and his team. Chris is very deliberate, knowledgeable and demonstrates excellent craftsmanship in all respects. He pays close attention to the details and ensures any glitches or other issues are thoroughly discussed before the fix is applied. As with any project in an older home, there are small issues that pop up and challenge any installer. Any time Chris had a concern or a question, he would seek us out and discuss the various fixes and seek our opinion. He is very accommodating and stayed on schedule until all the work was completed to our satisfaction. Chris is very personable and knows his craft well...a recipe for success. We highly recommend CW Flooring (Chris and Shannon Webb) to anyone contemplating the installation of engineered wood flooring.

Job was subbed but the work went well and the end result was very good.

This was a big project for us. Shannon and Chris made it as easy as possible. On time, and within budget, they laid flooring on the entire second floor of our house (including closets). The transformation was incredible. They also did our stairs, which posed some tricky problems to keep the existing curved handrail. Each job was done to be the least intrusive to our family and they left the worksite clean.

This was a great experience. There was an issue in our master bedroom and they leveled it for us and did not charge us extra.

We called Shannon to inquire about the Angie's List Deal and asked her when they would be able to fit us in their schedule and they had an opening the next week. This was great for us as we has another contractor coming in to install trim the following day. She was very helpful in helping us order some transition pieces that we needed to complete our project and their price was very reasonable and fair. Jonathan arrived as scheduled to install the floor and trim out problem areas left by a previous contractor. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the product we had did a fantastic job. He was very careful to not waste too much material and utilized scrap pieces efficiently. We had 204 sqft of flooring to install in a 160 sqft room and when he was finished, we had at least 25 sqft left over! The floor looks great! He wasn?t able to finish installing all of the transitions that day because they had to be ordered, but when they come in, we look forward to having him back and trust he will do a great job on those as well. I would recommend CW Flooring based on their professionalism and quality.

They did an excellent job installing our floors. They were friendly, hard working, and cleaned up excess dust. They were also flexible when we had to change out scheduled install time. We could not be happier with the floors and will use them for any future work.

I have hired another installer. I would not waste time with this company.

They came in and it took close to the whole day to do the work. T hey were punctual. Professional. Chris took the time to give me tips on how to do the sanding and refinishing which I appreciated

CW Flooring did an excellent job all the way around. They were responsive and promised as delivered. We had another bid, and they beat the previous bid so it was quite fair. Shannon was aware I had company coming in to visit in three weeks and made sure we had our work completed in time for my company. Her concern for my anxiety about my company was greatly appreciated. The two workers arrived on time and prepared and had the job done so quickly it was amazing. They cleaned up their mess and sawdust . We had multiple annoying squeaks in the floor that they fixed. We had moved our own furniture but my husband and I could not move the heavy TV , so the two young men it and were happy to help . The two guys were so polite and nice, I was really happy to have them in the house. I think their names were Jason and John. John was very very skilled. As in most houses there are always unusual little problems that come up. John, was very skilled and fixed all anomalies and explained to us what he was doing and "why". He made sure it was done RIGHT. He also came back three days later after all the floor was laid except in front of the fireplace where our male cat had peed. He hit the floor with Kilz , made sure it had dried then came back later to make sure it was dried and ready to lay laminate. For a young 20 year old guy to care that much and give up his Saturday morning , I was pleased. CW Flooring did an excellent job for us. They also did a final clean up too which kept my mess to a minimum . I still had dust in the house but certainly didn't expect they dust for me , ha. Very good job, Fair, On Time, Delivered as promised, and Professional Expert Job. Highly recommend. Oh one last thing, the first bid they wanted 50% down before they even showed up, and in effect demanded that 6 weeks in advance. That really put me off. CW collected when the job was done and confirmed it was done right.

They did a good job. They came immediately.

Shannon came out right away and measured and gave us the general idea of how the installations could be done and what material she recommended and where to get the material. That was helpful because we didn't know much about it and it gave us a starting point. We shopped around and got our material and the installation was done all in one day. It looks great and was a very simple project to get done. I really liked that there wasn't a bit mess made and so no big mess to clean up.
