Description of Work: Fixed my Maytag washer. It took two service calls because the part had to be ordered. The were very nice about trying to get the part expedited because I was getting ready for vacation. The only reason I gave a lower rating for price and overall was because the cost of the service call was not included in the repair.

Description of Work: Our Fisher & Paykel dish drawer filled with water and would not drain. We selected Appliance Pros (which had favorable ratings on Angie's List) because they were able to send a technician at least ten days sooner than the appliance service company we had previously used. They promised to call between 8 and 9:30 am to say within what two-hour period they would arrive, but they did not. When the technician finally did arrive he was able to immediately diagnose the problem, which required ordering an inlet valve (part number 529828) which he had to order, which he said would take about 3 days to get. It actually took 21 days to get the part and install it, but we were never advised to expect a delay. | |Since we were able to use the other drawer in the interim, the delay was a minor annoyance. The main disappointment was the price. | |We were told that there would be no second service call charge for coming back to install the part, but we would be charged for labor. | |Upon his return, the installation took no more than 10 minutes, and he spent additional time running the dishwasher to test it. The charge for labor was almost as much as the cost of another service call (service call $65.00, labor $64.80). We were charged $95.77 for the part (including a $7.00 discount for having to wait 3 weeks for the repair). Googling the part name and number on the internet yielded the following results for the first five listings: $30.96, $42.00, $41.52, $64.55 and $42.00 (average $44.21). I also checked with the company we had previously used, and their price was $44.58. The repair failed within hours, and he returned the next day to replace the part again (we were not charged for this return trip). In the end, the repair was satisfactory, but slow and over-priced (total $233.57).

Description of Work: They diagnosed the problem with our non-functioning dishwasher and told me the part I needed to replace. I had narrowed the problem by online research to one of two expensive replacement parts and needed help determine which one to get. Appliance Pros resolved most helpfully resolved this. I ordered the Maytag control panel online and completed the repair on my own. No problems since.

Description of Work: The angie list deal is $59 service call, but actual service call is just $69(so the deal gives $10 off). I have a broken burner and the service call only include inspection but not labor on repair the stove. I later get a call for quoting parts and labor for the repair is $250! so this deal get me nowhere.

Description of Work: They were punctual and professional. They even called Sub-Zero to get some parts covered under the warranty that expired a month ago!! Great Job!!

Description of Work: Identified issue with wash machine and was determined the washer would probably go out pretty soon. Parts cost made it a part option to replace the dryer.

Description of Work: I can't say enough about Appliance Pros. He came by and looked at my Whirlpool washer that had stopped spinning and also appeared to have a faulty sensor. He told me the sensor wasn't working because of the way we were closing the washer and that the clutch on the machine had gotten weak but he didn't recommend repairing it due to the cost. I asked him to call me later with a cost estimate and he called within 2 hours. The cost was more than it would be to purchase a new washer. He was so honest and professional- I will call them with any repairs I have.

Description of Work: I contacted them via e-mail and they called me back right away. They scheduled the appointment and said Brad would call to set the time, which he did. A total Professional and was very pleasant. he fixed my dishwasher in under an hour and for at least 1/2 of what I was expecting to pay. I would not go to anyone else now. They work on of my all kinds of appliances (kitchen or laundry room and they will get 100% of my business from now on. When asked, he offered advice on detergent and cleaning products.

Description of Work: Technician responded to problem that refrigerator was not cooling properly. He knew immediately that the compressor was gone and let us know that a new one would be as much or more than a whole new refrigerator. He did not waste our time trying to sell repair services, so that was impressive.
