I used Hayes Heating & Cooling to take out the old furnace and air conditioner. They repaired the existing vent. They put in new venting, a new air conditioner and a new furnace. Everybody?s price was basically the same.

They were prompt and they did what they said that they would do. The person who came to work explained every step he took and completed a good job in a timely manner. He cleaned up after himself.

Hayes Heating and Cooling is a family business. They are an outstanding company. John's bid was $7,000 cheaper than what 3 other very reputable companies quoted me, for the same Weil-McClain boiler. John Hayes and his son started on time, took what seemed as no breaks and worked very late. Any time John had to go through the house, to get to a radiator, he would tell me what he was doing. They did excellent work, cleaned up after themselves and were professional and knowledgeable.

They were prompt and courteous. They let us know the candles we were burning had lots of soot and this was causing the problem. We appreciated their honesty. I am satisfied and would call them again.

We first met John last year when he was an authorized contractor for our HSA home warranty. He is very thorough, always punctual, performs quality work, and extremely courteous. He offered tips to us to help us save money on our HVAC needs.

Scheduling was easy as I planned for this well before the cold weather hit. John and his son cleaned and serviced the furnace and changed the filter. They did a good job.

From start to finish we were pleased with the experience as the problem was quickly resolved in a professional manner. John was happy to answer questions and show us how to avoid the situation happening again.

It was all very good. No complaints.

John Hayes answers his phone immediately or gets back to you in short order. I explained our need and John cam e over to the location the next day. He surveyed the situation, decided what had to be ordered and gave me a date that he would return. He came back as planned, did the work in short order and charged the amount that he had previously quoted. He also suggested some cosmetic repairs that made the entire job much more eye appealing. John Hayes is fast, thorough, always cleans up his work area and is very reasonable in terms of the quality of work that he performs. I have used John on a number of occasions and am always completely satisfied with him.

We found their business card on our furnace in our recently purchased house. Since they were on Angie's list we contacted them to service our furnace. They were very nice and worked very quickly.

In the beginning, it took them a long time to get the units. There were weeks and weeks of delays and promises that weren't kept. Since then, the units have worked great, and I have been pretty happy with them. I even called them back to service them as well.

They always show up on time. They did a very good job. They provide me with an annual service but they also come to my house if we have an unexpected problem. They have very good prices. They are highly trained people.

This guy did a very professional job! I thought his prices were so very reasonable. He arrived at my home on time. He was friendly and polite. He just did an all around good job!

John was very nice, personable, and businesslike but doesn't like to work on mobile homes, and consequently, he gives a high ball price, so I didn't hire him for the job.

On time & polite. Price was a little high for the short time it took to check the system for leaks.

Great, John was prompt very professional and did a great job. I feel he is very honest and would never try to sell you something you don't need.

We've used John before for a/c problems. He's very professional, easy-going and very friendly. He always makes recommendations and has been very good about alerting us to potential problems in the future (we have a very old system) without sounding insincere. I recommend him all the time.

JOHN WAS WONDERFUL! HE WAS ABLE TO TAKE THE APPOINTMENT ON SHORT NOTICE, REPLACED THE WATER HEATER, HAULED AWAY THE OLD ONE, AND WAS DONE IN NO TIME. I REALLY APPRECIATED HIS HARD WORK, AND EFFICIENCY.

I HAVE RECOMMENDED HAYES HEATING & COOLING TO SEVERAL CLIENTS INCLUDING MY MOTHER IN LAW. THE OLDER THE HOUSE AND THE MORE WORK REQUIRED THE BETTER JOHN HAYES LIKES IT. HE REALLY ENJOYS WORKING ON THE OLDER HOMES IN SOUTH ST LOUIS CITY THAT WERE ORIGINALLY OUTFITTED FOR STEAM HEAT. THE DUCT WORK THAT JOHN INSTALLS BLENDS IN WITH THE SUPPORT BEAMS AND OTHER CONTOURS OF THE BASEMENT. JOHN HAYES TAKES GREAT PRIDE IN HIS WORK AND ALWAYS RETURNS PHONE CALLS IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME. I NEVER HESITATE TO RECOMMEND JOHN TO MY CLIENTS, FRIENDS AND RELATIVES.

JOHN HAYES HAS WORKED ON MY FURNACES & AIR CONDITIONERS IN 3 DIFFERENT HOMES. HE'S OUTSTANDING. MY FAMILY USES HIM NOW TOO. IN THE PAST, 2 DIFFERENT HEATING & COOLING COMPANIES HAVE EITHER STOOD ME UP ON APPOINTMENTS, OVER CHARGED, DONE SHODDY WORK OR HAD TO BE THREATENED WITH A LAWSUIT TO FINISH JOBS PROPERLY. NOT JOHN, HE'S ACTUALLY FIXED THEIR WORK, TOLD ME THINGS THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR & DIDN'T DO AND NOT CHARGED ME. HE IS A MAN YOU CAN TRUST & NOW HIS SON IS HELPING HIM, SO I WON'T HAVE TO WORRY WHEN JOHN RETIRES.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE, WORKED BY HIMSELF, REALLY LISTENED TO WHAT I WANTED, AND WORKED HARD TO MAKE ME HAPPY. ALSO VERY RELIABLE.

HE WAS EASY TO DEAL WITH, PROMPT IN DOING THE WORK (IMPORTANT SINCE IT WAS COLD OUT AND I WAS SICK WITH THE FLU!) AND WAS UNOBTRUSIVE IN THE HOUSE. I FEEL LIKE HE WENT THE EXTRA MILE.
