Description of Work: My sump pump went out causing my basement to flood. My pump was replaced and all elements were checked and repaired. The plumber who did my service gave me some pointers and suggested he come back at some point to help me resolve the ongoing problems. I've had other pumps installed but no one wanted to address the continuing problem to get to the cause of the problem.

Description of Work: Had new sump pump and backup units (w/battery) installed approx. October of this year. Because the water level was so low at the time, tech could not set the floats properly. Well, it started raining. Apparently I'm on a underground spring. Water level fluctuates. Rob came back. Spent one hour adjusting units and floats. He wasn't happy. Rob felt it wasn't perfect. But I'm happy. No problem now. No charge. Also, in Nov. I had an emergency in my kitchen...lots of water. Again Rob was here within an hour. Fixed! $95. A family business, worth trying.

Description of Work: Price was high for a simple job. We had an odor coming from our toilet so we were hoping a new wax ring may fix the problem. The plumber was extremely professional and the work was done quickly. He went over several options and we ended up going with the new wax ring. The price was $200 which is a bit ridiculous considering this is a fairly simple job that took very little time. He also offered to change the tank kit for another $125 which was a value add on because they usually charge $200 for that as well. I let him know that I could easily do that myself for $20. Unfortunately I couldn't do this job myself so I went ahead with the job. I will not use them again due to the high cost. Again, the repairman was awesome and very professional, the company just overcharges as far as I'm concerned.

When they price a job you know what its going to cost before and after the work is performed at the start of the job. No it's ands or buts

Description of Work: put all new faucets for our bathrooms in , 3 sinks, shower and tub and put in new shut off valves under the cabinets.

Description of Work: We called with a list of at least 6 problems. The appointment was scheduled for the following day. Dale arrived promptly and looked everything over, then fixed 3 minor leaks (2 outside hose bibs and one inside shut off valve) for no charge. He could have easily told us we needed new hose bibs, but found a part in his truck that he could use to fix one leak, and tightened packing on 2 other leaks. He also checked 2 wet spots in a ceiling, which turned out to be duct work sweating, and recommended an HVAC company. All that before even giving an estimate or charging a dime. | |He quoted replacing either a tub spigot (corrosion) or entire faucet, spigot, overhead shower head unit, depending on how much we wanted to spend. We did not do that work, as he would have had to cut a hole in the drywall next room over, or break through the tile, and it was an expensive job. | |We ended up having a shower valve repaired (were not getting hot water) and a water line run to our refrigerator and hooked up (water source 2 rooms away) so that we could have an operational ice maker. For $315 we feel that we got a good value and have found an honest plumber! | | |

Description of Work: They corrected the work of another contractor that installed our sump pump wrong. They were professional.

Description of Work: Overall, pretty good. Very punctual and good in terms of communication. I had a kitchen faucet replaced and also had to have a sump pump outlet extended. I felt the cost of the faucet replacement was very high, so I countered and they accepted. For the sump pump outlet extension, the original proposal was more than was necessary. They suggested digging a trench, when in fact, it just needed another 4 feet of pvc to extend to ground. I suggested the latter and they did it at a reasonable price. If you know what needs to be done and can detect overpriced proposals, then I do think they do good work. Otherwise, they seem to err on the side of being overpriced.

Description of Work: They fixed broken valve stems in 2 showers, installed new faucets in 2 bathrooms, fixed overflow pipe, cut out and replaced tub drain. It was a lot of work due to shoddy craftsmanship of the house, but he got everything working beautifully. My dogs really liked him too, which is a huge thing since they don't really trust strange men.

Description of Work: I was unhappy because i had 2 charges. I was only told about the $45.00. And after he was done i was charged $99 diagnostic fee. I would not have used them if I knew about the fee up front. Then I would have paid $397.00. To have them fix the problem.

Description of Work: The technician from Precision Plumbing replaced a commode in our guest bathroom and a kitchen faucet. I was very pleased with the punctuality, respect, and level of professionalism demonstrated by the representative.

Description of Work: our hot water heater stopped working; called and scheduled appt.; Kent arrived on time; showed me the "rust" that had fallen onto the burner, thus making it unable to ignite; cleaned all debris, did maintenance and got the water heater going; only took a little over 1 hour. Great Work.
