They were great. They were very good. The guy that came out was very nice and very good. He took care of it right away and we both were very pleased.

Proposal was quick and priced fairly. Glenn was on time and very thorough on the day work was done. Professional and easy to work with. Job looks great.

I had found water in my basement the night before and Hosack Plumbing was probably the 8th company called... they were the only ones who were able to come out the day of to repair. The technician (Scott) called when he was thirty minutes away and was actually early! The repair was performed in a professional matter and I would definitely use this company again!

That was good, It was good. It was good. It was informative. He told us straight. He told us what the problem was and how much it would be to fix it. He was a really nice guy. I'd certainly be happy to have him or anyone from Hosack back.

I purchased a deal for service through Angie's List. When the service man arrived and diagnosed the issue and told me the approximate cost, I asked him was a certain payment accepted, he told me yes (mistakenly). After he went to his truck to write up the order and I guess verify the payment acceptance, he then informed me that the mode of payment I inquired about was not accepted. Because of this, I could not authorize him to continue. I was then informed that I owed $50 for him coming out and diagnosing my problem. I thought, wait, didn't I already pay for that through the deal? I paid him but did not think this was fair. I ended up paying $89 total for nothing. I'm not saying their a bad company and don't do good work. I should have done my homework prior to and found out what form of payment they accepted. Lesson learned.

They were just on time and truthful and honest about what’s going one and I was pleased with that.

The work went great. They showed up on time and completed the work quickly. My only complaint is the price seems high for what they did but I didn't not get multiple quotes since I was in a hurry.

The repair was completed without any problems. The billing for the service was a complete disaster. The company did not understand the offer that I purchased on Angie's List, and tried to charge full price for the work.

This is a change to my original review. In that review I indicated that the service was fine but the price I thought was quite unreasonable. After writing that review the President of the company called me and offered to refund MORE THAN HALF of the original cost. I have completely changed my opinion of this company. The President was very concerned about good customer satisfaction and the offer was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. It is very rare that the owner of a company cares that much about one customer. This is obviously a really fine business to work with.

Sink was cleared of clog successfully! Also, the he worked on the washing machine hose for a long time but was finally able to get it off! He was very kind and helpful and provided plumbing advice and answered my questions.

It went well. Plumber had to go out and buy part that wasn't on the truck. He didn't charge extra for the part search. Leak was fixed and guaranteed for 1 year

The work was done quickly and well. A little expensive, but for me worth it in terms of convenience.

This repair improved the flow of the shower. It seemed expensive but the plumber was here a long time so I'm sure it wasn't easy to address.

This was an Angie's List Big Deal for $39 for plumbing services. They didn't do anything because they gave me an estimate for about $300. I had it done by a regular plumber, so I just lost the $39. I was not happy with that. He came out, gave me a $300 estimate for something that I paid a plumber $79 for. I didn't have any problem with their responsiveness. I would never use this provider again.

I took advantage of the Angie's List special. Appointment was made for 8-10 arrival time. Since I did not receive a confirmation call and this was my first time using Hosack, I called to confirm my appointment. I was told plumber would be there by 12 noon. We got that misunderstanding straightened out; and he arrived by 9:00. Glen was absolutely terrific. He was VERY professional, worked quickly, and explained everything he was doing. I was comfortable with him in my house and plan to use Hosack ( requesting Glen) for future work. My final receipt was detailed and included the estimates to replace the hot water heater etc.

The first visit did not find the problem, but they returned to fix it at no charge. It turned out the rubber gasket around the handle mechanism was rotten. During longer showers, the water would run down the wall and fill up the gasket - eventually spilling over and leaking into the ceiling below. It was a tricky problem and I appreciate that they stuck with it to find out what was going on.

Great job, mistake on my part thinking it could be done all in one day for less money. The plumber was thorough, trustworthy, and cleaned up the area before leaving.

Quickly fixed the leak and all was good.

It went fine...but there's definitely a point of where you are just looking at the invoice/work order and ask yourself really? So in short our exterior faucet leaked....that's all I wanted fixed and it took about 20-30 min of work. It apparently had two leaks, one was a washer which he said he could replace that and not charge me anything, which I could appreciate. The second leak ended up being a bad vacuum breaker (a small plastic part which the plumber said you can get from a kit at Lowe's/Home Depot and I checked and it is under 10 dollars). It was already installed and done when the ticket was being wrote up and I asked how much this part would be and he told me since he had to "Get a part off the truck" he was going to have to charge me, which that is fine I accepted that; but then he told me it was $195....same $10 plastic piece. Really? He did say he would apply my Angie's list "coupon" of $50 credit to bring it down to $145 (plus the $39 for cost of the coupon). Basically it makes the call to fix the 10 dollar part $184...is that bad? I don't know maybe not...but how they spun it of "since the part had to come off the truck" I'm going to have to charge you (insert arbitrary amount and then discount it whatever your coupon is)...I just don't prefer to deal like that. I suppose I could have had him remove it, but then I would have to leave work another day to sort this out with someone else and would spend at least the same. So really just be weary if you're looking to get value from your coupon as in the end I paid $184 all in to fix a leaky faucet which included a $10 part and 30 minutes of work...which I could have probably received from calling any plumber and paying "retail". The work however was fine, so there is that....

All went smoothly and professionally. Scott was extremely knowledgable of what was needed for each of the projects. He went out of his way to climb through the woods around our house to find the water meter/water company shut off. He also discovered that the city's meter was broken - which the city has since repaired. Scott also rebuilt the smaller valve in order to save me some money. Of course, there are no leaks and each of the valves has been working perfectly. I will definitely call Hosack Plumbing next time.

Excellent job. It required creativity on the part of the plumber to find the city's shut off valve for the house. He also completely rebuilt the humidifier's shut off valve. It saved me money in the long run.
