The coupon only covered minimum services. By the time I treated stains, etc. the cost had more than doubled. The individuals providing the service were very professional and pleasant. By the time they were finished everything looked very nice but I felt a bit "taken."

!)I booked the Angie' List coupon on Sunday night, and got a callback on Monday, and the work was done on Tuesday! Brandon and Edward showed up promptly within the time frame allotted, and explained what they were going to do. The Angie's List coupon only covered the cleaning of the tile and grout, but for an additional amount, I decided to have them put a color seal on the grout that would keep it from getting discolored for several years. The grout had gotten considerably darker over the 5 years since I had had the floor installed, and when they showed me what the color seal would restore, I decided to pay the extra amount. Because the grout cleaning and sealing was done by hand with a toothbrush (!), something that I couldn't do myself, I realized that it was worth the extra payment! The floor looks like it has just been laid, and I am very pleased with the outcome of my Angie's List purchase! One caveat is that the cleaning does NOT include sealing of the grout, so even if you want a clear sealant put on, there will be an additional charge, but as I said, I opted for the color seal that was more expensive but would keep the grout looking good for some time to come.

Results were great. Paul gave realistic evaluations of the rugs and their wear-ability. Although I decided to keep some rugs that were not worth cleaning, the ones that were cleaned looked new again. The cost is reasonable considering the amount of the original purchase price, and keeping that investment looking and feeling clean.

If you appreciate poor communication and mediocre work then Stanley Steamer of Creve Coeur is the right company for you. The crew was not prepared for the job as set up by others in their office.. The crew was not qualified to communicate the project, nor were the business tools consumer friendly ie. the small hand held computer with a 3 x 4 inch screen display. If you hire them you will understand the inherent problems with that technology. If you appreciate strong arm style of doing business then you will like this company. The crew did not inform us in advance that the wood floors with the sealer would take 24 hours to dry. The problem created was a kitchen full of furniture. My wife and myself (in our mid 60's) would have to eat out. We said we would pay part now and the balance the next day when the crew came back to complete the job (move the furniture back). The crew said they would not leave until paid in full. We refused to pay before all services would be rendered. The crew (1 of 2) chief called their office and a person then informed us that if we did not pay in full the policy of Stanley Steamer is to immediately call the local police and have us arrested. Later she changed it to issue citations. With the threat of that clear after 20 minutes of phone conversation, we decided to pay. They did come back the next day to move the furniture. If you appreciate mediocre work and poor communication, as well as strong arm techniques, then this is definitely the company for you.

Ducts were cleaned well, had to repaint and caulk around some old vents and returns, but that's just how it goes when those vents hadn't been removed for probably 15 years!

Stanley Steemer arrived on time, they were courteous. They moved some furniture, did under the bed and did a very thorough job. They put all the furniture back where it belongs. I recommend their service.

As expected. Just more expensive than I thought

They were responsive to request for an estimate. When I called to schedule I was told a different time window then what their reminder email said. We received a call early in the morning that they were on the way. Then over an hour later we got another call that they were on their way. This person said we shouldn't have gotten the first call. They made a dusty mess ask over our main floor that they didn't clean up. This is very problematic when there is a crawling baby and other small children in the home. Then my babysitter tried to pay with discover and he said they do not accept discover. They did not tell me this on the phone when I told them that the babysitter would pay with credit card. Then the man refused to leave the house until my husband had to leave work to come home and pay him. I would have happily left a check if they had informed me of their policy on discover cards. I very disappointing experience with this company.

The guys did a great job.. it was tough I must admit. We purchased this house with the floor in the kitchen unsealed and pretty filthy. Scheduling online was very easy, and we even had to reschedule, which wasn't a problem. The guys that showed up were a little rough around the edges, but did a good job. The job ended up taking about twice as long as they had originally anticipated, because (we were told) that was because our grout was uneven and required more attention -- which wasn't surprising with the issues we've had else where in the home.

They came up with the better price. Everything was fine.

We are quite satisfied with the work done. It rejuvenated our old carpets that had never been professionally cleaned.

he cleaned our carpet and after he was done the floor was way to wet and took days to dry.and he did not get the spots that he was to clean . than when i payed him with a credit card he over charged me by $295.00 than comes back and gets cash from me. then he tells me that they would reverse the charges. And they did not i had to call my credit card company to get my money back. to me i feel that were commiting fraud.

They moved furniture for me and used pet friendly materials. Every corner was superbly cleaned. I was very pleased with the results.

I wanted them to clean the grout and the tile in the walls of my 2 bathrooms, and he started saying something about the floor. I told him I know the floors are old and they won't come up, but I wanted my walls. He told me he didn't have the tools to do that so I told him he could clean my floors. I really wasn't happy with that. I think that he was taking his way, and it wasn't what I wanted. He was here when he was supposed to be here, he just didn't do what I wanted him to do. I will not use them again. I will go to somebody else on Angie's List.

We have had Stanley Steemer before and had good experience. This time, as always, the person I called to schedule the service was pleasant and helpful. However, the person who came to do the services was unpleasant and somewhat argumentative. He seemed unhappy with the price that was given us and insisted that our main room (that is one continuous space) was both a kitchen and living room and should have separate pricing. (We had had this area cleaned many times by Stanley Steemer as one room.) He also argued that a small 3'x3' piece of carpeting should be considered a hallway. In the end I paid a little more than the price given me when I scheduled and would have paid more if I hadn't say that I was ready to cancelled the entire cleaning. The cleaning itself left something to be desired as some corners were left undone and I had to do them myself A suggestion to Stanley Steemer...instead of cleaning price determined by room, price should be determined by square footage. For example, some full baths are 10' x 15' and others may be 5' x 7'. Perhaps that would have resolved some of the problem I had with our service man. Although I have used Stanley Steemer numerous times, I will probably use another company the future.

Overall good cleaning. Although they left the carpet wetter than it should have been resulting in some water spotting. Techs were polite and prompt.

It went good. I was impressed. They did good work. They showed up on time when they were supposed to and they did a nice job.

The job they did was excellent. The only issue that I have is that the lead guy kept offering more services than I had originally contracted for. We added the closet as I had thought that it might have been included with one of the rooms and they added some kind of fragrance as they were cleaning. There were other "offers" that we didn't take. Other than this, everything was done perfectly. With this wet cleaning approach, you have to wait a day or two for the carpet to dry out. If you can open windows, it would obviously dry out sooner.

They did a great job. The floors look like new. The were very professional, cleaned up and left my home looking great . I will use again

Excellent service and quality workmanship. The online scheduling service was easy to use, although it didn't easily accommodate special offers sent to us in the mail. The discounts were applied, however, after we called. The service team arrived on time and were thorough. They answered all our questions about their work.

This company is great - easy to order the service and pricing is easy to understand - no hidden pricing that I am aware of. I bought a five year old house and had them take care of all the rooms, including tile/grout cleaning. Very light colored carpeting, and they made it look real nice - They did an excellent job! My dog became sick a week later and vomited on the living room carpet on several different days. I was unable to remove, and Stanley Steemer came out each time and took care of it - saved my sanity BIG TIME!!!!! I told them not to use the deodorizer, since I am very sensitive to perfumes. The carpet was left fresh and very clean each time they were here. They left no mess and were very professional as well. I will be using them again and again.

both workers were very professional; moved furniture and completed job efficiently
