The Andersen windows and doors are superior in construction. All phases of the project: sales, engineering, scheduling, and installation were very professional and on-time. The workmanship was outstanding. Andersen was not the low bidder, but I personally feel that I got exceptional value for my money.

We had a good experience with this company from start to finish. The salesman was informative, not pushy at all. He presented several options to us for replacing our bay windows and we choose a large picture window with 2 side slider windows. The person who came to do the final measurements made sure we knew what would happen when the installers came. The installers came promptly at the time promised. They put down runners inside so no dirt was tracked through the house. They came across an unforseen problem with the brick trim that had been under the bay windows, and came up with a neat trim solution. They finished sooner than I expected, the windows look great. They cleaned up extremely well.

They did quality products and were responsive to any issues. They kept things clean. We had asked for the patio doors with the sketch, but the ordered it incorrectly. I was not happy with them on that particular issue. I would use them in future if need be.

They came out and measured and replaced the window all in one day. The window was pretty big. They did the work fast and the quality of the work was pretty good too.

Everyone was friendly and helpful, from the showroom and salesperson to the estimator to the installers. The windows were installed 3 weeks after ordering (they had predicted 4-6 weeks). It took one and a half days to install. The installers stayed late the first day to finish caulking the windows they had replaced that day since there was a chance of rain that night. They finished the next day and cleaned up everything inside and outside.

Quality is outstanding-I wish I had used them or a project I did earlier and chose a company and product that was cheaper-lesson learned. You get what you pay for.

They were prompt in providing an estimate. I made an appointment for an estimate about a week in advance, and they generated the estimate while their employee was on site. They had to return later for a more formal measuring session, however. The doors were ready in about 4 weeks, a bit sooner than their guess. Installation went well; they did a neat job, and seemed to be careful with their work. They took about 6 hours overall. The door was not precisely as ordered: I asked for the side-light to be one uninterrupted pane of glass, and it came instead with interior pane dividers in the way that the doors did. They were willing to re-order the sidelight and switch it when the new glass arrived. However, the door ended up looking decent, so I left it as it was. My only other (minor) criticism with installation was that some exterior wood sill trim was unsealed, so I'll have to get out and paint polyurethane on it soon. I also got an estimate from a fairly high-end local independent window/door place, and the two prices were almost identical.

Measuring, pricing, ordering were all done flawlessly within time frame they suggested. Installation required one return trip to correct an error. The error made by the installer may not have been noticeable to us, but the installer and company insisted it be corrected by replacing one section of the sliding door. Both the installers and the company representative expected a perfect job, even replacing a 2" trim piece which had a small dent. We especially appreciated their honesty, desire for a perfect finish, and their timeliness in accomplishing all.

The sales representative, Dennis Wakeman, was easy to schedule an in-home appointment, showed up on time, was very courteous, and did not stay any longer than required - it was a very low-pressure visit. Our quote was easy to read, and Dennis followed up without being pesky. We had intended to go ahead with Andersen (over three other quotes) in spite of the higher price, but the maintenance and need to prime and paint the cladding eventually turned us away. We were very pleased with Dennis and the company in general, though. (We also visited the showroom and met another employee.) ($9,000)

They were very thorough and gave us the lowest quote of the top-tier window companies (Pella, Andersen & Marvin). All of the employees were very courteous and prompt. They took extra measures to limit the amount of lead chips and dust that entered the house as my wife was pregnant at the time of the installation (of course all contractors should take these measures, such as placing plastic sheeting on the interior portion of the window frame). The gentleman in charge of installation suggested changing the installation method of a window that had a dryer vent in it which definitely improved the window and was very appreciated. We have been very happy with the windows which have improved the energy efficiency in our house as well as the ability to easily open windows in pleasant weather.

Mailed advertisement initially drew my attention to Anderson products. Showroom displays and personnel were informative (Crestwood location). Salesperson and spec guy who came on-site were personable and thorough in approach. Approximately 5 weeks for custom order to be shipped. Two installers finished the job in less than six hours. Demonstrated product and cleaned up. Satisfied with outcomes at all levels. Service was superior at each step; product is aesthetically pleasing and functional.

We decided to purchase Anderson products from a large home-improvement store.

The windows look great and they did such a careful, exact job measuring them. They are very professional and did an excellent job. They were on time and I considered the price to be very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

Folks at the store were helpful. The salesman who came to the house, was ok, but he bad mouthed the competition and did not know what he was talking about. He was also training another sales person at the time. I was stunned by how unprofessional he was in that regard.

Prompt and professional. Good quality product and I have no complaints. I did select Pella windows because I got them for about the same price and they are real wood which better matches the rest of my windows.

They were very prompt in answering my call. They got right on it and I think I waited six weeks for the windows to come in. They were courteous. They removed old windows and put the new ones in. I am perfectly satisfied. They are great!

They did an excellent job of installing huge windows for me, got everything done quickly, and were very courteous. I'll use them again and would recommend them to anyone!

MORE EXPENSIVE THAN ALL BUT 1 THAT WE PRICED, BUT SO FAR WE ARE VERY PLEASED. CUTS DOWN ON OUTSIDE NOISE, TOO. PROFESSIONAL, ON TIME, WORKED QUIETLY AND EFFICIENTLY. POLITE. CLEANED UP AFTER THEY WERE FINISHED AND EVEN WASHED THE WINDOWS. EVERYTHING WAS SPOTLESS. ALL I HAD TO DO WAS REHANG THE CURTAINS.

THE SALES TEAM, AS WELL AS THE INSTALLERS WERE PROFESSIONAL, PROMPT, AND FRIENDLY. THEY GAVE ME THEIR OPINION ON WHAT DOOR TO GET, AND THE REASONS WHY THEY SUGGESTED THAT PARTICULAR DOOR. THEY DID NOT PRESSURE ME INTO BUYING MORE THAN WHAT I WANTED. THE INSTALLERS COMPLETED THE WORK IN THE TIME THEY SAID THEY WOULD, AND CLEANED UP BEFORE LEAVING.

IT WAS VERY GOOD, AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYBODY.
