Very happy with the process leading up to, and the results of, the installation. Accommodating sales people in their Maryland Heights showroom. An overall "good value" compared to others in the area. Prompt, professional and careful installers from their Trenton facility. We are very picky about services and workers in our home. No issues - very clean and courteous. One problem with a short measurement that they insisted on "fixing right" (which they did, and at extra cost them!) All-in-all, we are very pleased with working with them and our beautiful new countertops.

Very easy process from start to finish. Everyone was extremely helpful and professional from Daniela in the showroom, to everyone in Trenton, IL where the countertops were fabricated, to the installers (who did a fantastic job in our kitchen and family room.) Everything was delivered on time as promised, all of our questions were answered promptly and courteously, and we would highly recommend this company to anyone considering granite countertops.

We originally obtained quotes for our kitchen, master bath and guest bath from K&D. We have the paperwork showing the remnant price for the guest bath is $1250. There is nothing anywhere on any of the original paperwork stating it would be more if we opted to do our kitchen / master bath tops elsewhere. There is a small note on the bid saying "prices are subject to change at any time" which is a bit obnoxious in my opinion. We liked one of the remnants, so we decided to move forward. After we had already driven out to Trenton, IL to look at the granite remnant (with an infant), we called to place a deposit on it. We were then told the price would be changing to $1435. This price was supposed to include installation, delivery and doing the measurements. I was unhappy about the shifting price, but figured it still wasn't outrageous to pay that amount. When I called to have someone come out to take measurements, I was told that would be an additional charge because we weren't doing the kitchen / master bath. WHAT?!? That's what the upcharge to $1435 was supposed to be for! So I had my other granite guy - the guy that was over 30% cheaper than K&D for the same product (it's installed and looks phenomenal) - take the measurements. Then when K&D has finished fabricating it, they call to say we can pick it up or have it delivered for $60. I opted to pick it up at the store which is what I was told I could do. I rented a truck and all of a sudden I can't pick it up at the store! I would have had to drive out to Trenton again. So we had them deliver the granite. They couldn't give me any more information than they would be there "after noon" which is crazy when you end up having to take the day off of work to accommodate the delivery. Then we were called & told it would be there in under 30 minutes and it took almost an hour from then. Also for whatever reason, the driver parked at the curb, so he and my husband had to carry the top a significant distance more than if he had driven up the driveway. I know there are a lot of positive reviews on here for K&D, but I would beware of the nickel & diming they did on my remnant project. I am not unhappy with the vanity top - it's beautiful! However, the experience of dealing with K&D is one I'm not anxious to repeat.

They were very easy to work with. They did try to put me off a little bit, change the date a little bit and that was a little difficult at times but we finally got them to commit to a day and stop changing it. When they did get here they did a great job. They did make a mistake on the fireplace, they mis-measured it and they had to come back and fix it and they did. Overall, I would say they were easy to work with and speak with.

They were very responsive and professional. They kept me well informed of every step in the process, and what was expected of me (very little other than money). The installers were very professional and efficient. There was a small measuring error, which they recognized, acknowledged and had the resolution ball rolling before I even noticed the problem. I am very happy with the products and the service, and would use them again.

Extremely pleased with the entire process. Excellent service from everyone we dealt with from Jason in the showroom, the schedulers on the phone, the man who came to measure, and the installers (Matt and Levi). Very prompt, beautiful work. We are very pleased with the process and the results. Would highly recommend.

I don't believe it could have been better. They came to measure about 10 days prior to install. This took a couple hours, but obviously used state-of-the-art equipment. I did not have to remove exiting counters and live in disruption for two weeks - WONDERFUL compared to other friends' experience. Night before -I had to remove all stuff from lower cabinets On 9/10/13 7:30 am - A crew from Siegler came to remove existing counter top and prep the area for new. Rerouting of some electrical wiring was required as well. 11:30 am - K&D team (Casey and Aaron H.) showed up with the new counter top. Very professionally installed, seams are barely noticeable. They drilled holes for new faucet after asking where I wanted them; and my new undermount sink was installed by them as well. 3:30 pm - Crew from Siegler returned to complete the installation of faucet, garbage disposal and clean-up - honestly, I did not have to wipe or vacuum anything in terms of cleanup, it was wonderful. That evening, I put everything back in cabinets. Poof! Great job performed by all - THANK YOU VERY MUCH SIEGLER and K&D

We contracted with K&D personnel at their Edwardsville store. They provided us with the location of their granite wholesaler. People at the wholesale warehouse were very professional, answered all our questions and let us look through the selection at our leisure. Two days after we signed the contract with K & D they sent someone to our home to measure for the templates. We were given the time window for installation and pleasantly surprised when the installers showed up a week ahead of time. Installation was seemless and we are very satisfied with the quality and look of the granite, the installation and the professional attitude of everyone we worked with both at the store and at home. We will use their services again and would recommend them as well.

The men who came to the house were wonderful. They measured one day and came back a week later to install. Very thorough and professional. Job is beautiful. Can't imagine a better experience. Levi and Matt are fine young men with lots of knowledge and experience.

We love the countertops. They were very good. They were very good about explaining things and explaining the different surfaces. We told them what we wanted and what we didn't. We looked at sinks and they were good about explaining the pros and cons. I wanted a bead of caulk along the back and that's not something they normally do. I called them back because I wanted it and they came right out and took care of it. We went back about a month ago because we liked them enough the first time.

Went to K&D shop to choose cambria countertop. They gave me an estimate from my dimensions. Guy came to measure to finalize cost. Then two guys came to install. It was a wonderful experience and I have no complaints. I liked the fact there was no heavy sales talk!

The experience was excellent. Jason (sales) was the most knowledgeable granite sales person I have met in my experience evaluating (5) granite companies for this job. We were able to pick out our granite slab personally, the other (4) companies would only show small samples. If you are familiar with granite you understand that each slab is unique. They used laser to measure and were very polite and prompt for all measuring and installation appointments. They were actually able to do the whole job with a single seam, the competitors were talking about up to (4) seams. The caulking job was the best I have ever seen, the installation crew was outstanding!! I want to say thank you to K&D for such a great experience, I will most definitely be back to finish our other 2 vanities.

Everything went very smoothly. They came over and measured one day, and then performed the actually installation a couple of weeks later. (I wish they offered Saturday installation, but they didn't.) They were prompt, courteous, and professional. Their estimate was definitely the most reasonable, and they did not try to upsell me to stone countertops. They were offering a special on Angie's List, but they failed to put on there that it only applied to stone countertop installation. Jason was very nice, and worked out a comparable discount with me. I appreciated them going the extra mile. I would definitely use them again.

I picked this company from reviews on Angie's List and couldn't have made a better choice. They work extremely hard to give great customer service and certainly deliver. From my original estimate at their South County showroom until my actual install, they couldn't have been more helpful. I visited their showroom in Trenton, Ill. While there, I saw a display of my countertop color and the paint around the display matched the quartz perfectly. We asked Mrs. Diesen, who was assisting us, if it were possible to find out that paint color. She said she would try - she did and e-mailed the color to me. I was impressed. From the selection process to the installation, Troy, Daniella, and the gentlemen who measured, installed and handled the plumbing, they couldn't have done a better job. My plumbing was older and resulted in a few problems - (I think plumbing is always a pain!) and they went above and beyond to solve them and make sure everything was functioning properly. If you want some beautiful countertops and a great customer service experience, that's exactly what you will get with K&D!

The salesman was thorough and knowledgeable. Their prices for granite and quartz are very competitive. In order to choose a granite color, you have to visit other locations which sell the granite material. This does provide a wide range of options, but I was on a short timeline and needed to choose a granite color quickly. I chose to use Cabinets & Granite, Inc. because they have all their granite samples (in large slabs) in their store, and they gave me the Ogee edging for free. (K&D Countertops charges extra for Ogee edging). If I need granite counter tops again in the future and have a longer project timeline, I will review K&D Countertops because they have a large selection of options.

We worked with Jason is the showroom and throughout the entire experience and he was wonderful. Always quick to reply. No surprises with cost or changes in the timeline. Everyone who came to the house from the templating guy, the two installers and the two guys who came to trim the countertop (so that our refrigerator would fit- which was an error on our contractor's part, not theirs) were kind, professional and neat. Of all of the vendors we worked with throughout our kitchen and bathroom renovation, this is the only one that I could highly recommend!

We met with Lacy in the showroom & she showed us our options. She was very nice & helpful. When we finally decided to go with Cambria we had a bid that came in cheaper from a competitor. K & D matched the price which was great news because we wanted to give our business to a local business. Lacy was always pleasant to work with & always was quick to respond to our numerous emails. The man who came out to template, Ken, was early for the scheduled appointment which was great because most people are never on time for an appointment. It was impressive that he was early. He was really nice as well. The installers, Steve & Matt, were great. They were right on time. They were courteous, friendly, personable, polite, professional & helpful. They did an excellent job on the seam. What a great install team! We recommend this company and would use this company again without hesitation.

We started at the big national chain stores and found the process frustrating. Went to K & D after that and it went smooth from selection to pricing to installation. They helped us find and pick out a remnant to be an accent piece for our kitchen island. Prices were comparable to big box stores but service and selection were superior. I wished we had gone here first.

It was a great experience from start to finish. We met with Jason at the St. Louis Home Show and went to their showroom to look at the various countertops available. We chose the Cambria Quartz. Jason was able to provide a quote while we were in the showroom. We looked at other options but decided to go with K & D Countertops. We placed the order, measurements were taken within a few days and received a call the next week to schedule installation. K & D completed installation of the countertops within 2 weeks and installed the matching backsplash one week later. They called before each installation to provide a time of arrival and were there on time. The installers were very professional and answered all of our questions. It all went perfectly. We would highly recommend K & D Countertops to anyone looking to replace their kitchen or bathroom countertops. We are extremely happy with the end result!!!!

There was a problem when my counter top did not arrive in the shipment for 2 weeks beyond the original delivery date. K&D called me each time, before the day of expected delivery, and explained the problem and rescheduled. This ought to be a no-brainer but I've had other service companies just not show up or call me while I was waiting at home, having taken the day off work. It's not the lack of problems that impresses me, it is the manner in which they are handled when they do come about. There was a problem and K&D handled it in a professional manner. When the counter did get delivered, the guys were very professional and punctual. They were happy to answer our questions. They cleaned up after themselves. They even took a few moments to repair minor damage to the old cabinets that the new counter was going onto that would have potentially caused quality issues with the new counter. I'd definitely go with them next time we need this sort of work done.

I was so impressed with K&D from the initial appointment to measure the kitchen for the countertop to the final installation. They were efficient, answered all questions courteously and cleaned the job site afterwards. The counter is my favorite part of the renovation!

They did a wonderful job and I was really impressed. I had had a new laminate floor put in the kitchen (which looks like tile or stone) and they had to put in the countertop afterwards, but they were very careful about taking care of not mowing up the new flooring, took time to make sure that they were careful in what they did. They didn't knock the walls coming in. I had an L shaped countertop that had to go in so they had all that done. It was very nice. I was very happy. I would call them again. They were the subcontractors from the person who did the whole kitchen. It was part of a bigger picture and I just don't remember the price. I think it was about $800 or $2400. I just had mica countertops put on because that's all I wanted to spend. They were fantastic. They were courteous, polite, they came on time and they took time for prep work to make sure everything was set up right when they came in. They did some of the work outside. They set up things and they didn't disturb any outside shrubs or anything like that when they were working. They did a very nice job. I would definitely recommend them to a friend or family member if someone needed that service. I think their pricing was good, it depends on what one wants, but I felt comfortable not having to run around and check out different prices. I talked to people and I suggest that they would give you a good price. I would say their pricing is comparable and good. The quality of work was good.

They had good service. They came on time and they were hard working. They do quality work. The counter tops look really nice. There prices were about the same as everyone else's.

They came out and did some electronic measuring to my crooked walls. When the counters came in, they fit like a charm but someone had accidentally picked the wrong template for my sink so it didn't fit the sink properly. They took it back to the shop to fix it and brought it back in about 2 days. They came on time and finished on time. I had only one other challenge and that was that the cabinet makers asked them that they leave the counters loose and not tighten them down all the way so the cabinets would go in properly when they install them. I guess their communication is poor because different guys came out to install the second time and they thought I was crazy to ask such a thing and tightened them down making a big mess for me since I ended up in the middle of their squabble.
