K & D employees showed up on time, were very professional and they have an excellent product. Sales, design and installers answered all questions and made the process painless.

We love our beautiful new Cambria Quartz kitchen countertops from K&D. We got estimates from four different countertop companies--all of whom got high ratings on Angie's List--and we chose K&D Countertops because they were professional, had their act together, and were easy to work with. 1) Visiting the showroom in Maryland Heights was great: we got to see actual slabs and large pieces of the various patterns, and were able to rent out large samples to take home and see how they looked in our kitchen (other places only gave us super small pieces or none at all, or made us feel like criminals for taking the only samples they had). And we can't speak highly enough of the friendly ladies who worked at the showroom...they were very helpful and easy going (no high pressure sales tactics at all.) They provided a printed-out estimate on the spot (other places had to get back to us a day later with an email estimate, or provided a hand-written estimate on the back of a business card). Plus they provided some nice printed materials about the company and about the Cambria product itself, all of which was helpful. 2) Templating and uninstalling old countertops: K&D uses laser templating in order to get a precise measurement for the new countertops. This is HUGE. It is much more accurate and easier on the customer because it doesn't require removing the old countertops or countertop backsplash piece before measuring. Another company didn't offer uninstalling as a service but gave us the name of a third-party contractor who would come in and do it. And because this company did physical templating, this other contractor was going to have to come in twice (and charge us twice) to first break off and remove the laminate backsplash piece before the templating and then later to remove the main countertop before the actual installation. This was WAY too many moving parts for us. K&D made it all seamless and much easier. The templating took less than an hour with no hassle to us, and the uninstall/install all took place in one day. We love the quality of our new countertops and the installers did a great job on making the seam practically invisible. Of the four estimates we got, one was crazy high, and the other three were within the same ballpark. It was K&D's professionalism and overall positive vibe that sold us and made us go with them (plus the Cambria Quartz is just so beautiful, clean, and smooth!) I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We had a beautiful onyx color quarts put in with white marbling and oak/honey tones. I asked for more white in the island to brighten the room. They always double checked to make sure we liked the progress. They came out and used a laser on the counter top to get precise measurements since the kitchen it horse-shoe shaped.

The hardest part was picking out the pattern. The new tops were ready in about a week. Everything went according to plan and there were no installation problems. Workers arrived on time, finished quickly and left the kitchen clean. Very pleased with the finished Cambria product.

K & D coordinated with Global to assist us in lining up the 3 slabs of New White Spring. They came to our house for the laser measurements after the cabinets were installed. From these measurements they developed the templates for our approval. They cut the slabs in about a week and a half (7 business days). They installed all the slabs except for the island on the scheduled Monday as planned. The island slab (~10 ft) split during the machining and they were unable to install as planned. We went back to Global and picked another slab for the island. K & D machined it and installed it within 4 days of the original schedule. They worked hard to get this done in a favorable time for the contractors to begin their work schedule again. We also purchased a Blanco undermount sink from K & D and they installed it. No extra charge for the new slab. We had one problem with the seam between two of the slabs - the color difference was noticeable. K & D came out, looked it over and agreed that it should be changed out. They had the replacement there in about 3 days. No extra charge. We are very pleased with our countertops that we purchased from K & D Countertops. They are very professional, stayed on budget and did their very best to have our countertops in place at nearly the original schedule. You guys get our highest rating!! Throughout the process, (estimate, measurements, installation and follow up), they were prompt, friendly and professional. We did have one problem. The stainless steel sink we chose developed a rust spot. It was quickly replaced with no argument or discussion. Our counter-tops are beautiful and we are happy campers.

The best experience ever with a contractor! Timely, efficient, professional, responsive. I did not have ANY clean up to do-they did it all. They also did the plumbing, and we cannot say anything negative. Jeremy at the Tesson Ferry location was focused on our needs, knowledgable and efficient. Really-a wonderful experience and worth every penny. Oh, and the quartz tops ar gorgeous:)

Company would not come out to do a measured estimate nor bring samples. Company wanted me to submit measurements via a drawing and they would provide estimate. Samples or in home visit would not be provided until they were selected to do the job and then they would provide granite samples and come out to visit home. I did not feel comfortable with their methods.

They came in and did the measurement. They paid a lot of attention to detail. Everything was done the way I wanted it. I am a very particular person.

Install when very smooth. Installers were professional, conscientious and personable. We couldn't be happier with our new countertops, and how well the install went. We dealt with Jeremy in the south county showroom, to select the quartz and all of the details and he was very nice to work with. We decided to buy 3 of our 4 sinks and faucets needed, at Home Depot rather than K&D, which saved us about $600. The only complaint I had was that the Angie's list member coupon did not give you anything additional that was not already in their standard offer. They finally did give me an upgraded sink.

They were wonderful! From the first visit to their showroom to the installation, K & D was informative, knowledgeable, and patient. I felt their prices were competitive and am very happy with the installation. I love my countertops!!

Fine. It looked good and fit perfectly. The guys were very nice and professional. They had a little trouble getting the faucet installed but they kept at it and it worked great. They also removed the old sink and countertop.

I purchased the countertops through Cheryl at the South County location. She was extremely helpful and informative. She made the process effortless. A company rep called to confirm the date when the measurements would be taken and later followed up to arrange for installation. Everyone was very professional. However, I did encounter one problem with the installation. One of the installers drilled into the electrical wiring beneath the sink. The electrical outlets and one under-cabinet light connected to this wiring would not work. Oddly enough, the installer did not seem to know what he did but it was clear to me what happened when I inspected the area after the two installers left. Since a brother was coming to work on my house that weekend, I did not call K&D until he confirmed the problem. When I contacted K&D about this issue, they were ready to send someone to my home that morning. I made ararngements for their worker to come the next morning, and he replaced the wiring. Overall, I was very pleased with K&D, and I absolutely love my new countertops.

The installation was very difficult and complex and handled extremely well by the K & D installers. Our existing windows were the same height as the new counters causing gaps at the inset windows. They recognized the issue installed the countertop and came back at no charge with matching spacers to complete the install.

Met with K&D Counter representative in their Page location. Very helpful and informative. For a deposit, we were able to take home samples of three different colors to see which ones we liked best. After a few weeks of my wife and I deciding which color/pattern to go with, we signed a contract. The installers were extremely professional and meticulous with their measurements. They then said it would be one week later that they could come out and do the install. The day of installation, they called to give us a 2-hr window of arrival, and they were right on time. The installers were great and went to great pains to ensure the counter was level as there was quite a bit of sway in our cabinets from over the years. Our backsplash arrived one week later and was carefully installed as well. It all looks beautiful and everyone was terrific to work with. I have already recommended them to a friend.

An excellent installation done by Levi and an excellent experience starting with Jason in the showroom through completion. Everything was accurately explained to us. We are very pleased.

It's wonderful. I chose them because they were on Angie's List. The location was close to home. My initial contact was with the person there at the store. She was really on top of everything. She helped me a lot not knowing anything about granite or Cambria that I actually had put in. It's a natural product. The workers were very courteous and very neat. They did a really fantastic job. I would recommend them. With regard to price, I really didn’t check with others. I'm sure we could get cheaper, but I don’t think we could get overall quality.

Jason helped us with picking out the correct cambria countertop design for our kitchen. He was not "pushy" but more than willing to answer any questions we had. He arranged for the measurement of the countertops promptly and the person responsible was on time, friendly and polite. The date was given for delivery and installation and the price was exactly what we had agreed to. Everything and everyone we had contact with was very professional; and, we are thrilled with our countertops. I would recommend K&D without any reservations.

We went to the Trenton IL location to look at what they had to offer since we live in O'fallon IL. The staff was very helpful and explained all of the options and gave us some great recommendations. They came out to measure using a laser system that gave them the exact dimensions. The installers were dressed professionally and were very nice and did a great job installing the countertop and the new sink. Very happy with the no maintenance Cabria it is beautiful and looks great. We highly recommend them don't go anywhere else just go here.

The removal of the old counter top & sink went very well. The installation of the new counter top went great, & I love the product. The installers were on time, did a great installation job, & cleanup.The price was $400 less then my first bid, & they also gave me a free sink, & edging upgrade at no cost. This was a really good experience, & new counter top really enhances my kitchen.

I would definitely recommend them. It's a family-owned company that was recommended to me by a friend. I love my kitchen now!

Everyone we encountered was very friendly, courteous and on time. Sales people, installers, etc. The installation should have been done in one day but the company forgot to make our windowsill. They came back about a week later to install it. Our original quote was $390. more than what we paid because we were charged for a "cut-out" in the countertop where our new "slide-in" range would be. The original price was for the entire countertop with a U shaped cutout. Meaning we had to pay for the countertop piece that was being cut out. We questioned this after the countertop was installed and they took $390. off the price because the countertop did NOT have a U shape cut out. It was basically two separate countertop pieces and they attached a 3 inch wide piece to the back, along the wall. This was apparently the sales persons fault, but it was taken care of quickly.
