They are very good- they have all these young people working for them who are very enthusiastic and energetic which I am not any more, so I appreciate it in others. They do a very nice job and if I have any problem, I mention it to them and they take care of it right away. I am really pleased with them. I worked out what I wanted them to do and then we worked out the price together- it was tailored for me.
Description of Work: I use The Cleaning Authority. They do my wood floors and clean my kitchen and the bathrooms because I can't get down and do anything that is below knee level anymore.

I remain very pleased with the routine services that they provide and have also used them for occasional more extensive cleaning and have had my carpets cleaned by an affiliate organization that they arranged and coordinated. The management team is both proactive in checking in periodically to ensure continued satisfaction and very quick to respond if ever a concern is raised. I have had the same team of ladies cleaning my home consistently and they do great work and on the rare occasions that I am home when they come, they are very pleasant and courteous (thank you Team 3 - Kat, Stephanie & Kandice!) I will shortly be moving home within the area and have reached out to ensure that TCA and in fact the same crew will be able to clean my new home also. Thank you Brian for maintaining excellent customer service and ensuring consistently great cleaning.

+ -1 moreI have been using TCA Lee's Summit for approximately 5 months and overall am very pleased. I interviewed a couple of different service providers when I moved to the area and TCA far and away made me feel the most comfortable with their services, pricing and management. I have previously used a couple of other house cleaning services in other locations and TCA compares favorably to those experiences also. There have been one or two minor hiccups but when I have called to express my concern the management team has been both very responsive and very eager to make things right. I came home today to find my home noticeably sparkling. It is a good feeling at the end of a long work day to come in and find everything clean, shiny, neat, tidy and smelling fresh. I have read some very disturbing reviews of other TCA locations but the consistently positive reviews of TCA Lee's Summit seem to be well earned and deserved and I am happy to recommend TCA Lee's Summit to anyone.
Description of Work: Bi-weekly house cleaning - main and upper level. Occasional lower level (basement) upon request.

He sent a team of 3 from The Cleaning Authority to do the one time deep clean of the house, as requested. The team arrived on time, were professional & friendly, and actually seemed to enjoy giving my house the deep clean that it needed! I was there while they were working - the team stayed on task and were very focused on doing the best job possible in an efficient manner. + -1 moreThis is the third cleaning service we've used. The Cleaning Authority is very thorough and reasonably priced. We were able to exclude seldom-used rooms to keep the price within a comfortable range. The cleaners always do a great job - better than the last two companies we've used (one of whom didn't move the small, one-cup coffee pot to clean behind it for WEEKS). The first time The Cleaning Authority came to our house, I was shocked to find the girls on their hands and knees scrubbing the floors by hand - it really is a thorough clean every time. We feel comfortable having them in our home, and they're always very considerate to our requests.

Two big jobs that were beyond my physical capabilities are now done, better that I ever did, and I didn't lift a finger. Looking forward to a long and happy relationship!

+ -1 moreThe process from beginning went well. The cleaners don't get high up to clean if a stool is required. But they do use a duster with an extended reach to get high areas if there is no decor to be moved. They were very pleasant and courteous to work with. Started out with 2 young ladies and a third showed up help finish up. At the end there was someone who came to inspect the work sort of like the "white glove" test. Every thing passed to all our satisfaction. I would recommend The Cleaning Authority for a good deep cleaning as well as regular cleaning service. Brian worked with me to get this work scheduled to meet a personal deadline. I was appreciative of his efforts.
Description of Work: Deep cleaned entire house of 3 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, 1 office, 2 living areas, kitchen, breakfast room, 2 bars, hand cleaned wood floors, wet wiped all baseboards, cabinets,and doors, dusted, vacuumed, cleaned wood blinds. Did not do any windows as we had a window cleaning company to handle that project.

+ -1 moreI was impressed with the cleaning. It was sparkling clean. They really took time to thoroughly clean every area. I also was more than impressed with their patience at working with me. I had several health issues and had to cancel several times before I could meet with the owner to sign papers and get an estimate. Then I was really desperate to have the first clean before I had a baby shower for my niece. They really had to hustle to work me in, but they did it with a smile and thank you. This is a large cleaning company which made this possible, but it is a large business with heart to satisfy their customers. That is a big difference and why they are successful.
Description of Work: They cleaned 3 bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, loft, stairs, laundry room, and 2 full baths, and a powder room.

+ -1 moreUsing the high marks from Angie's List - I contacted The Cleaning Authority to inquire about bi-weekly cleaning service. I also chose about 4 other companies to call for information. The professionalism of The Cleaning Authority was among the very top and the fees were among the top in reasonable-ness! Brian, the owner, comes out to your house to do a very comprehensive "run-through" and quote. They prefer to schedule two intital "Deep Cleans" where they clean your whole house; but focus deeply on certain rooms. The second deep clean includes the whole house as well, but focusing deeper on the rooms that didn't get it the first time. All future bi-weekly cleanings will encompass the whole house and just one smaller area getting the deeper clean so that each room gets the deeper clean on a regular rotation. Works for me!!! I have had the first two deep cleans and am thoroughly impressed with the job done. Their fees are quite reasonable in comparison to other companies and the service has been very good!! I contactedI HIGHLY recommend. I have also emailed with a few questions during this process and have had very prompt replies. All around and in general I am very pleased and have every intention of continuing service.

+ -1 moreAll workers behave(d) kindly, respecfully, and speak freely and easily among themselves (not just to my husband and me). From the time they enter my home until they leave, they focus on tasks, and they WORK. No dawdling! They ensure trash is In the garbage (not just tossed "near" the garbage can), dirty rags are packed appropriately, separated from clean ones, and more. They pay attention to detail as though their own reputation is on the line. Kitchen cleaning includes the microwave's inside and outside. For ALL hard-surface floors (real wood, tile, and vinyl), they sweep, then vacuum, then thoroughly Handwash them. Yes - on their hands and knees they hand clean from wall to wall (for real wood, tile, and even vinyl). They clean right to the base of your wall, furniture, box, or whatever finally blocks their path. They don't move large furniture, heavy boxes, and the like. When we move our furniture, they clean behind and/or under it. If they move anything temporarily (e.g. knick-knacks, mail), they return it to its original place as soon as they finish their task. If papers fly loose, they pick them up, but they won't attempt to sort them (which I agree with). They will not pick up loose papers scattered before they arrived. They use synthetic feather dusters, which I do not like as a general rule. If I ask them to use a specific type of cloth, they do. Their cleaning products work very well, yet they will use the product(s) you request. Bathroom cleaning includes the toilet risers (for handicapped and elderly people), behind the faucets, floor areas behind the toilet, towel racks, etc. While in my home, not one worker took a smoke break, used my commode, made personal telephone calls, or chatted unnecessarily on a cell phone. They behave this way as part of their business practice. Cleaning crews are prompt. I cannot recall a time when they arrived more than 15 minutes later than the scheduled start time. If they arrive early, they take a personal break in the car, and they knock on the door at Precisely the start time. My one complaint in almost 2 years was about one person's unacceptable "cleaning" (late one afternoon) I reported it to CA's office and expected resolution the next business day. Within 45 minutes a manager rang my doorbell, asked to inspect the work, seeking details to discuss with the employee. The manager inspected more work than reported and work done by both people. Soon a second team arrived and completely re-cleaned the area, finished by 5 p.m.
Description of Work: I recommend Cleaning Authority from the Lee's Summit, MO office. Best maid service I ever hired. Definitely meets my expectations, and I am a very picky 'pain in the neck' until I am satisfied. These cleaning teams consistently "do it right the first time, every time," well - except once, discussed in the next section. Not one thing has been Stolen, Broken, or Damaged in almost 2 years. If they can Readily reach an area, they will clean it. (They won't move things hindering their access.) This business seeks customers who want regularly scheduled cleaning services twice per month. If you are unsure whether you want maid service this frequently, I strongly recommend you try them for one month (two visits). Let your satsifaction contribute to your decision. They do Not accept "hoarders" as customers. Their people are "cleaners" - Not "clearers." Customers are expected to provide Safe Environments for the workers. Before the office schedules your first cleaning, a manager visits your home to establish clearly what tasks you want done, special needs or instructions, scheduling issues, see your rooms, and tell you the flat fee for each cleaning. He/she also explains 1) what workers are Not allowed to do; 2) what you can expect at Every cleaning; 3) what their "deep cleaning" service is and how its rotation works. If an office person says someone will call you back, someone definitely will. When I left messages, somsone called back the same day, usually within 2-3 hours. I left a message late one afternoon and was called by mid-morning the next day. Each cleaning includes in one room (e.g. kitchen) or a category of rooms (e.g. "all bathrooms") that gets extra attention (i.e. "deep cleaning"), such as wiping baseboards. Standard practice: each team arrives at your place with a notebook that includes, among other things, a list of what the manager and you compiled as their "to-do" list. I easily add a one-time task and (once) a very small recurring task. Although I usually call the office in advance, sometimes I asked the team when they arrived. If a question arises, a worker calls the office, and you get an answer immediately. You do not wait and wonder. They (re-)schedule appointments around my occasional conflicts (when I cannot be home or have someone let them in). I prefer scheduling them for the same time on the same day of the week. The last time I recall them request a schedule change was December 2013 during the heavy snow when most stayed home. Teams are Not assigned to work regularly for a specific customer (ostensibly because of scheduling dificulties...) The only times my fees changed were when I added (or removed) an entire room on my cleaning list. For the few one-time extra tasks and the very small recurring task I requested, they did not add any fee(s).

+ -1 moreThey work out pretty well for us. They have a rotating system where every other time that they come, they concentrate on one particular area. We only have them come once a month and that works for us but we know that every other time, they concentrate on either the living room, the shelves, knickknacks and that type of thing or they concentrate on really sprucing up the kitchen and the bathroom and they would get into all the little places. They are usually here for at least a couple of hours. Two people mostly would come out but once in a while three people would come out. We have had one small glitch where there was some damage done and they came through nicely and helped us out to get that repaired. Not everything had just been perfect but they were very agreeable and helpful in rectifying the cost on that and everything. I think that their price is reasonable for what they do. They usually come within half an hour or an hour before the time that they say that they are going to be here.
Description of Work: The last time that we used The Cleaning Authority -- Lees Summit was last Monday for dusting, cleaning the carpets and sprucing up the kitchen and the bathroom.

+ -1 moreI contracted with the Cleaning Authority to clean my house every four weeks. They were charging me about 65% of what I was paying the company I was using at that time. What I didn't understand, however, was that they only did half the house on one visit and the other half on the next visit. Consequently, the charge for the service was substantially more than I was paying previously, and any given area of the house was only cleaned every eight weeks. After I realized that fact, I went back to my previous service.
