We bought a 2000 Dodge Caravan and we've had it in there three times. We had referrals for them and my husband got the referrals like thirty years ago and has used them for thirty years.

They told me my battery was fine. I got a new one anyway. It was at least five years old. You usually find out you need a new battery when your battery dies, usually on vacation. I don't like that so I got a new one. Also got all new tires. Took a trip right after the service and my car has never driven this smoothly. Oh, after I paid them and left they called me. They had overcharged me fifty bucks. I never would have caught that. How many times has a mechanic been that honest with you. Never. This place is pretty unbelievable. I will never take my Volvo anywhere else. I want to take my BMW there if they can promise me they know BMWs. Larry, the man I dealt with is a real gentleman and is great to deal with.

My vehicle kept cutting off seconds it started. Took it to a repair shop who could not find the problem so I had to tow to The auto clinic and left it over night. The next day the called me and said they had diagnosed the problem and told me how much it would cost to get it fixed. I agreed to the price and they were able to repair it the same day. The Auto Clinic had great customer service and professionals who obviously know what they are doing. I would recommend the Auto Clinic to everyone I know.

We take both our cars to the Auto Clinic exclusively, ever since the dealer once told us we needed $1300 in repairs that the Auto Clinic did not think needed to be done and were able to fix for $300. I recently had $3,000 of work done to my car, and they were done quickly and they always do everything right the first time. I also like that they are open fairly late and on weekends, and have reasonable car rental service for about $20/day. They always call and explain everything in a way I can understand, and are honest with what *really* needs to be done and what I can skip.

My car had an oil leak from the adapter gasket that through repeated attempts could not get stopped from another auto repair business. I decided to give The Auto Clinic a try. I dropped my car off and they were able to identify the root cause and fix the issue. I was relieved so left my other car their for an oil change that same day. This other car also had a problem with the front bumper disconnecting on one side. I didn't mention that to them but they noticed it was dropping a bit on one side and reattached it. They did this at no charge and as a courtesy without even asking me. This was going above and beyond and I consider it to be exceptional customer service. I will bring my car back to them because they showed they have good attention to detail and customer service.

We have used Auto Clinic for many years for both our Honda and Toyota and have always had good luck with them. There was only one incident that I can remember that we had that was resolved quickly by Gene Fellows. Would recommend them without reserve.

The place is really good. Close to my house etc. Friendly, clean etc. Its just that a pet peeve of mine is that I don't like someone talking on the phone while they are ringing me up. I like to be able to ask about the repairs done etc. I might want more work done. But the times I went to this place to pick up my cars, the person I was paying was always answering the phone and talking to another customer and mouthing thank you to me so I didn't have a chance to actually speak to the person. And other people were also waiting to pay so I didn't feel like hanging around. I'm sure that doesn't bother most people and probably shouldn't bother me but I'm a grumpy old man and it does. Now I go to Meineke that is even closer to my house and the mechanics communicate to me about the work they do on my cars. But having voiced my complaint, people should feel confident taking their car there. Its an extremely good repair place. They are way better than most places you will find and the opinion of a grumpy old man shouldn't keep you from going there. I'm sure you will be happy with the place.

On one of the leaks they saved us money by being a little more creative and digging into alternate ways to fix the issue; saved us about $200.00. The muffler was loose and several shields and made all kinds of racket. They welded the shields and fixed the muffler. It doesn't make any more noise! I will also add as a general comment - We have been going to the Auto Clinic for about 10 years and continue to go back. The Auto Clinic is not the cheapest and is not without it's flaws. Humans run the company, work on the vehicles and do the billings and everyone is bound to make mistakes. We have had our own ups and downs with them but as with any company it is how they handle those issues that make the difference to me! They bend over backwards to try and correct those mistakes and they try and satisfy the customer, even when the customer may not be in the right. In a ten year period you are bound to have a couple of issues but I guarantee you that I can count those issues on one hand through four different vehicles. Gene (the owner) and his group are upstanding people and always try to do what is right. I completely trust them and will continue to take our vehicles there.

They helped me find a reasonable tow service, and then got the battery replaced. They provided me with a rental. The difference between this mechanic and other mechanics that I’ve worked with is that this is more of a family-owned, small business. They really know you and your vehicle, so a relationship is built, which I really like. I haven’t been let down by The Auto Clinic!

I went to the Auto Clinic after searching Angie's List for an auto inspection station near my residence with positive reviews. This was my first visit.I left the vehicle and a few hours later received a call letting me know my vehicle had passed the Missouri state inspection. And also was given a detailed explanation of inspection process. There were a few things that would probably need attention in the future so I decided to have them taken care of. These repairs were done on the agreed upon time. I was offered a ride back to the Auto Clinic and when I returned and realized I had forgotten the Angie's List coupon, they let me have the discount anyway. My vehicle is working just fine and I appreciated the professionalism and personalized service I received. I will return to the Auto Clinic for my next service needs.

We have taken our vehicles to the Auto Clinic for several years and they continue to service our needs with great professionalism! I don't know if they are the lowest priced in town or not, but for me the honesty, communication, quality of work and the ability to always fit us in is worth any extra it may be. They very well may be the lowest in town as well, we just haven't taken our business any place else for at least four years to find know. Gene (the owner) and Larry are great and always work with us, no matter the situation! This time we had several items that we needed to have looked at. One particular item was a leak into the interior of the vehicle from the air conditioner condensate line. We have had the issue for a while and Gene and Larry have worked very hard to find the problem. As with many vehicle issues you have to go through some diagnosis and try different things to find the actual problem. Since the initial visit with this specific problem, they have not charged us a dime to continue to try and fix it and they have asked repeatably if the problem has been fixed; making sure there is not more they can do. We also had to get a rental (which they have available at a very reasonable cost) during the time our vehicle was in their shop. The fixes took a little longer than they were hoping (no fault of theirs - waiting on part) and they split the cost of the rental with us. Something in my mind they didn't have to do.

Everything went great. I would use this company again.

I had been looking for an auto repair place that my daughter could feel comfortable taking her car to. I had checked Angie's List and noted the high ratings for Auto Clinic and decided to give it a try. My daughter took her car to Auto Clinic to solve an AC problem. This was big for her because she had never taken a car to a repair shop before. She said they treated her with a great deal of respect and explained the situation clearly to her. She knew that more money may have to be spent if the dryer didn't fix all of the problem. She understood there was some trial and error involved in the analysis. She thought they were trustworthy. She had requested they call me with their assessment before they did the repair and Scott explained the situation to me. The entire experience was very professional and I feel that I located a great repair shop for my daughter.

We really like the people there. They are extremely helpful and thorough. I know nothing about cars and they explain things to me in the easiest terms for me to understand. They are super nice. Whenever I have called, even for a strange concern, they tell me to bring it in and they will check it out. They worked with my extended warranty to get work done that need done and with the right parts.

We are very pleased with the prompt service, very thorough and courteous. They don't seem to be out to get as much of your money as possible, like some mechanics we have used in the past.
