Great. Love the counter tops.

We had a good experience with Midland Marble when they installed granite counter-tops in our kitchen, so when we saw they also had carpet in their showroom, we asked them for a quote. We were looking for something durable for our stairs, and the heavy traffic we get in our living room. The salesman was very helpful and walked us through the different styles and quality considerations. He was patient, and seemed to know quite a bit about fiber types, weaves, backing and padding. We felt good when we walked out of the store, but we decided to swing by a big box store to see if we could get a better deal on something similar. That turned into a big shell game. They had a low price per square foot, but by the time they added in all the extra charges for tear-out, disposal of the old carpet, delivery of the new carpet, installation, padding, tear-out, etc, I wasn't real happy. They even wanted to charge extra to carry the carpet from the truck to inside the house. We ended up going back to where we felt right about, and are glad we did. The tear-out and installation went smoothly, on time, and the crew was very professional. I was a little concerned about installing the carpet on the steps because we have oak tips, and I didn't want the woodwork damaged, and I wanted a tight fit, with no gaps. The installer did an excellent job. We are very happy, all around.

Doing business with Midland Marble and Granite was a very positive experience. The entire process from picking out what was best for my family to installation was prompt and stress free. They were always professional, skilled and efficient. Their products and services are top quality yet reasonably priced. I receive compliments often on how beautiful my countertops look in my home. I would recommend them to everyone.

Midland Marble and Granite did a wonderful job of installing our granite and all of our flooring. Their staff was so helpful, professional, and very courteous. Our salesperson came to our home on two different occasions to advise and help with the process, before it became an actual sale.. He met with us at his store at least 4 different times as we tried to narrow down everything we liked during the selection process. He was so helpful! Finally after everything was picked out and ordered, it was time for the installation process. This was the part I was most worried about but it was all for nothing. The installation went as smoothly as I could have hoped, we started with the granite- installed by Jake and Kevin, two really nice guys who showed up early on a Monday morning just like we were told they would. Shortly after that our salesperson Joe showed up - because he likes to make sure everything gets started okay, which was just an added plus in our opinion. Next came the tile installation - completed by Dennis who is one of the most polite guys we have ever met. The hardwood installer was Charlie, very quick and efficient worker and lastly the carpet installation, completed by Derek and his helper, also very friendly. Everyone showed up on time. All of them were very polite and patient with us while we asked questions. Our salesperson was always prompt to return any of our calls, and after the installation was complete - he called us again to follow up and to make sure we were happy with our installation and to address any concerns that we might have. Our countertop, backsplash and new floors look absolutely beautiful. I am so happy with the choice we made.

Great sales staff, helpful, knowledgeable at Overland Park store. Prices of granite were reasonable. Time line was fine, everything was as it should be, tear out when well, install went well, loved the granite. Tiler who did backsplash was fantastic, neat, great work, cleaned up. My 2 month old Bosch dishwasher was damaged by guy trying to run screws through rubber gasket around dishwasher and screw caused my cabinet to splinter. When I complained to company about how he was trying to install it, the damage he had done, and told him it had been set with a bracket at the top when they removed it, why wouldn't he do the same when reinstalling it?company gave some excuses and argued with me, but ordered new rubber trim. They had to come out again to install rubber trim and another time to correctly set the dishwasher in place. I had to live with the cosmetic damage to the metal and cabinet. The real problem came with the plumbing hook up. It did say in contract to have a plumber check work or do hook up, but they will do it for a price, so I asked them to do the hookup after countertops done. Faucet leaked at connection to water line, which was an easy fix, but involved a lot of clean up and a bucket under the sink until we could tell where leak was coming from. P-trap leaked, had them come back at least twice. Then water began running out of bottom of garbage disposal. This had been going on for several weeks, so finally (duh!) called a plumber. The problem was I had a deeper sink than prior. So p trap was below level of waste pipe in wall. Disposal was ruined, but it was 5 years old, so bought a new one. Plumber fixed drain issue and has been fine since. If you use them, don't have them hook up plumbing, call a plumber, especially if going to a deeper sink.

It took Midland Marble and Granite a long time to get things right. The company is owned by Mike Caton. The work took from September to March to finish. It was primarily the salesperson's fault. She didn't write up the design. She did all the pricing but the information wasn't accurately relayed to the people who do the work. The process was she spoke to her manager and then he spoke to the manager of the work being done. It was not a good experience. When I finally got to the point where it was done, the Manager had a bit of an attitude. It ended up fine and completed. I think they subcontract a lot of the work which was part of the problem. They scheduled me and then they put me off for two to three weeks. That was the first problem. I would use the company again, but not this location.

They did a great job. They were kind and courteous.

People at Midland Marble & Granite Company are professional. My overall experience with them was excellent. I would use them again in the future.

I spent about $2,500 on the job. They were great; the work was great. They are a reputable company. They were on time and did the job the way they said they would do. I was very pleased with them. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

Great experience. Sales associates were very helpful in picking the right products. Installers arrived on the scheduled appointment and were done quickly. The finished product looks very good.

The salesperson came to my house and measured my countertops. She e-mailed me an quote on that day. We scheduled the work to be done. Each person who was supposed to do his job showed up on time, was professional, friendly, and did a great job. We were very satisfied with the job.

When we went to pick out granite, we were assisted by Kay, a very friendly and knowledgeable salesperson. She knew a great deal about design, and showed us different samples and made suggestions. She accommodated our schedule, and came out to look at the kitchen to measure and provide further suggestions. She was professional and extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Additionally, when we went to preview the sample we had picked out, the sales person at the "cave" was also very accommodating. He worked with us until we found a granite slab that would work.The install went fine, and follow-up calls I have made have been taken care of.

Midland was supposed to put an edge on and they forgot to do it. I had to call 3 or 4 times to get that settled because they would not call me back. The installer did a good job but my sales person was not since I had to call her 3 or 4 times for her to call back.

We chose them because of their availability and proximity to where we live. We might use them again.

We spent about $4,000 on that service. We would use them again in the future.

Excellent service and the install was prompt and top notch.

I was not completely satisfied. They left the edging un-sanded and un-polished. They said they would come back out. They also said that my house would be full of dust, so I declined. I would use them again in the future but I would let them know to sand and polish outside of my home.

We went and picked out the color and style of marble they cut it and brought it out and placed it in the kitchen area. We didn't run into any surprises. They were not he highest or the cheapest company but they do a marvelous job.

They were great! Very professional, no matter who I spoke with. They were real prompt.

THE OWNER IS BRYAN CATON. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL, ON TIME, WASHED EVERYTHING DOWN, COURTEOUS, AND THEY WERE VERY CLEAN. THEY QUALITY OF THEIR MATERIALS WERE EXCELLENT. THE ARE VERY HELPFUL IN ALL ASPECT. THEY JUST AN ALL AROUND EXCELLENT COMPANY.

I WENT TO MIDLAND MARBLE AND GRANITE ON N. OAK AND WAS DIRECTED TO THEIR INDEPENDENCE LOCATION IN THE CAVES WHERE THEY ACTUALLY DO THE WORK AND KEEP A ''BONE YARD'' OF PIECES OF MARBLE AND GRANITE LEFT OVER FROM OTHER JOBS. I WANTED A SMALL MARBLE TOP FOR THE FREE-STANDING BAKERS RACK IN MY KITCHEN. IT CAME WITH A BUTCHER BLOCK TOP, SO I HAD A TEMPLATE AVAILABLE TO ENSURE ACCURATE DIMENSIONS. THE PEOPLE I DEALT WITH, MARK MCCALL FOR THE ORDER AND BRANDON FOR THE PICK UP, WERE VERY NICE AND COURTEOUS. I THINK THE PRICE, $100, IS AN EXCELLENT PRICE FOR MY ITALIAN MARBLE TOP CUSTOM CUT FOR MY BAKERS RACK. I WILL DEFINITELY PLAN TO WORK WITH THIS GROUP AGAIN WHEN I AM ABLE TO UPGRADE MY KITCHEN COUNTERTOPS. I WAS ANXIOUS TO PICK UP THE TOP ON THE DATE I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE READY. I CALLED TO CONFIRM THAT.
