Juan Mata Drywall

Description of Work: Called Mr. Mata for an estimate that I never received. He came out and looked over the project. Said he would text me the estimate within a day or two but sent nothing.

Description of Work: Scheduled an appointment today between 1:30 and 2:30. Lets see, it's now 6:00 and I haven't seen nor heard from Juan.

Description of Work: I Called Juan and told him that I needed work done same day and he came over in between other jobs gave me a qoute did the work and was out in a couple of hours. Very professional and his crew worked fast and thorough. I will call him again!

Description of Work: I scraped the popcorn off the ceilings. He removed the rest that I couldn't reach and fixed the areas I messed up.

Description of Work: We got a couple of estimates for doing some drywall skim coating and Juan had the fairest price and came recommended by a family member involved in interior remodling, so we decided to go with him. He was punctual for the estimate, however, he did not show up on the agreed upon time to start the work that we had requested. I had to call him twice. He did not answer the first time, and then when I called back an hour later, he answered and gave the excuse of a larger job carrying over and that he would not be able to make it that day. He was approximatly 30 minutes late the second day- but he did call and let me know that he was on the way after he stopped and picked up some supplies. The rest of the time, he did arrive when he stated he would be there for work.As far as Juan's work goes, the total skim coat was acceptable, however the wallpaper seam skim can still be seen through the new paint which he said would take care of seeing the seams. They are greatly reduced, but still visible. We found several large globs of drywall mud after he was done working over 2 days on trim and on the hardwood floor. He also did not make much of an effort to clean up the dust after sanding was completed.

Description of Work: We are rehabbing a house for rental and asked Mr Mata to give us some ideas and prices. He showed up in person, on time , and discussed the options. He was very complete and professional. His estimate arrived on time and we will have them do the work when we are ready. Due to a roof problem we have delayed further work on the interior until it is replaced.

Description of Work: Juan does a wonderful job on dry wall. we had contracted with him for a ceiling repair and repaint. Juan is also a perfectionist. After painting the ceiling and allowing it to dry I thought it looked great. Juan however wasn't satisfied so he repainted. It could have passed by me.
