Juan Mata Drywall

His prices were fairly reasonable. He was just awesome to work with. He was very honest and very thorough. He knew what he was doing and just very well knowledged in all areas of my home.

Juan came out immediately to give a quote and was able to start and complete the project within 4 days of the initial call. My wife is very satisfied with the work and she is extremely picky about how she wants things done. The price was in line with the other quotes we were given. Job was great. Juan is a very likable person as well as a professional. His crew was professional. Did repairs first day and came back second day to finish project after ceiling repairs had dried. Did a good job of cleaning up afterward. I would recommend Juan Mata to anyone and would use him again without hesitation.

It went very well. Juan responded to all of my texts promptly. Great crew that I felt comfortable having in my home when I was gone. Cleaned up afterwards. The only issue was a small electrical problem with a ceiling light, but he came back h following Monday and quick,y fixed it (even after the check had been cashed). I would recommend Juan and his crew and will use them again in th future if needed

They did a careful job and the result looks great. They took measures to keep the house clean during the process, although it involves sanding the ceiling so dust is hard to avoid entirely. Juan was very responsive to any questions or concerns before and during the job.

The walls in 3 areas of our home were damaged due to wallpaper removal. The walls weren't in any condition to be painted until the damage was repaired. I had heard that skim coating was a good way correct this type of issue and tackled it myself. After about an hour of work, I knew the job was beyond me and I searched Angies List for a contractor that could provide this type of service. I chose Juan due to his reviews and rating. He was very responsive, came out the next day for an estimate, and was able to fit us in and complete the job much quicker than we anticipated. While this repair was much more than we estimated, his prices were very competitive as we did get other bids. He and his crew showed up on time and everyone was very polite and professional. I was very impressed with the work his crew did and they turned ugly, damaged drywall into walls that looked new. This is not easy work and I was nervous about how the job would turn out, but it turned out great and we would definately use Juan again.

The work was done in the time Juan said. It took 2 weeks. I stayed at my son's house while it was being done. I came everyday to check on them and they were working. It was a mess I will admit but like I said I didn't stay here. They cleaned up as well as they could. I still had some dust to clean up but it isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I am pleased with the results my ceilings were really bad before and now they look like a new house. My house is 36 years old.. I recommend Juan highly and his workers were very pleasant.

excellent job as they came in to remove the drywall compound that was wet insulation in the back. Here's able to remove it did delay the process but he was very good and honest about it. He stated another drywall individual would've just place the drywall on top of the Wet wood and I would've never known is probably correct. The next day is crew spent the whole day there. They've placed a new drywall plaster painted the entire room painted some of the rooms. There was a specialized drywall plaster a different area. This crew is very helpful and flexible. We were able to choose her own paint and bring it to believe that helped reduce cost. He is very busy individual so if you can get him I would strongly recommend.

Juan showed up to give us the estimate - he was on time, polite, professional - he called prior to his arrival to make sure that we were still on schedule. When he arrived, he put plastic covers on his shoes (he had been working at another job sight where there was plaster dust) to make sure that he didn't track anything into the house. He calculated the estimate quickly and called me with the details within a few hours. The workers brought in all of the necessary supplies on day one and Juan put up the framing; day two they completed all of the drywall installation, taping and one round of mud; day three, they sanded and put on the second coat of mud; day four, they did final clean up and Juan walked through the project with me to ensure my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend Juan Mata Drywall.

I removed the popcorn on the ceilings and wallpaper below the dining room chair rail (the low skill stuff). I needed the ceiling skimmed and the walls repaired, many corner cracks and loose wallboard (the high skill work). Juan and his crew did an excellent job. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I am very happy with the quality of Juan's work. It will certainly make my paint-work look a lot better.

His quality was too high for what I needed. If I was having a high-end job on my own home, he sounds like someone I really would want to do the work, but this was a rental property in a low-end neighborhood, so it was a mismatch of his skill-set. He could have lowered it down, but he chose not to. We paid someone else half of what he quoted for the job. I didn't need a real high quality job, it just needed to look nice and be presentable. I only interacted with him on the phone. He was good about calling back. I would consider using him in the future for my own house.

Excellent. Juan and his team are professional, focused, fast, and do high quality work for a reasonable price. He is very busy and has some scheduling issues but nothing that would prevent me from hiring him again or recommending him to everyone! If you can get on his packed schedule you will be very happy and fortunate!

Juan came out the same day I called. I wanted the work done that week as I had a birthday party to do for my granddaughter. Juan gave me a price and came out the next day to start the project. It took 3 days because of the time required for mudding, texture and then painting. He arrived every day at the time he told me and at the end of the day cleaned up the mess. During the process he found that the other skylight that I had repaired several years ago was not done properly. He fixed the problem with some screws and did not charge me extra. The area is beautiful and you would not know there was ever a problem. He also bought bulbs and replaced them as he knew I had no way to get up to them. He is a very nice individual and I found him to be professional in every way.

The job came out awesome. I plan to redo the upstairs bathroom the same way with the same tile. Thanks again Juan.

Thank goodness for Juan Mata Drywall and his crew. We live in an old house with steam radiators. By some freak of boiler madness, ours sent a gush of hot water up through our steam radiators causing a radiator on the second floor to leak, sending water down below the floor and soaking half of our large living room plaster ceiling. The ceiling is, indeed, plaster, not sheetrock. The home near the Country Club Plaza was built in 1925. I called several contractors, all of whom came by and said the entire ceiling needed to ripped own and replaced with sheet rock and, as I recall, skim coated. Or they recommended covering the existing ceiling with sheet rock. Huh? It seemed ridiculous when half the plaster was still good. To be honest, I got on Angie's List and saw Juan had gotten good reviews. I called him. He called back by cell immediately. He came over the next morning and said he could patch and fix the ceiling as if it were new. He ripped down damage portions and then patched the holes with sheet rock. he then re-meshed the ENTIRE ceiling and gave it three coats of plaster, sanding it to a finish that was smoother than the original ceiling. He and his team were neat and clean, putting up plastic along every wall. The guy was great. The price was reasonable. I hope I never need him again, but I am glad to know that he is out there. We found Juan on Angie's List and had him over for an estimate. He quoted all of the work and we got back with him on setting up an appointment to start. We were amazed at how our garage looked. Looks like brand new sheetrock. We were extremely pleased with the fixing of settling cracks in our main house as well. Every crack or gap in the mortar of the cinder in the basement was filled....much more than I anticipated and painted. Everything looked great and we were 100% satisfied with Jaun and his crew's service. The work took right around a week to finish and we left a key for them to come and go as they pleased. We have a black lab whose bark is bigger than his bite, and felt fine with Juan letting him in and out as needed so he would not be in the way. We paid half prior to the work being completed and half upon completion. We had the work done in order to get our house ready to sell. If we need any work done on the new house we buy, Juan will be the first and only call I will make.

It went very well. Juan stays busy because he does GREAT work and is priced well. His guys bust their butts for him and their customers. I will have continued work done with him in the future.

Juan came to the house and provided an estimate soon after I contacted him. He was very courteous during the intial estimation and soon thereafter sent the estimate via email. It took me a while to scrape the popcorn off the ceilings in preparation for Jaun to come and do his part so it was about a two months before I called him back to get on his schedule. It took several weeks to get on his schedule and he had to push me out one week past his original start date, but this wasn't a big deal for me since I wasn't in a big hurry. When Juan came to the house the week of the work I hadn't moved the funiture as he had requested. He willingly agreed to move the furniture for a fair price. They wrapped the whole house with plastic before they started the work. They finished the entire floor in three days and cleaned up well after they were finished. I will have Juan come back next year to do the second floor.

Juan and his crew were outstanding; they worked around our varied/crazy schedules, came when said they would, very pleasant and the work done looks terrific. We will not hesitate to use Juan's company again.

Juan came out promptly and gave a bid, then worked us in to his full schedule to get the hole in the ceiling repaired. All work was completed in one afternoon. He matched up our ceiling texture flawlessly.

Juan, came in one day and gave me a very good quote on redoing my Kitchen ceiling. I gave hime a call a few days later and schedule the work done. Crew came in right when he said. Sealed off work area and clean up after themselves, hardly telling they had been there. Work was done very professionally and quickly. Would highly recommend them! Thanks

I had a great experience with Juan meta. Our basement drywall was cut out 3'' due to mold. Juan Meta came and gave a reasonable estimate. He was able to start the work right away since I only have a week to get it completed due to house sale. Overall they did a great job!
