Jerrod is fantastic. I have used him in the past, which is why I chose him specifically to do the inspection on the home I am purchasing. He is very professional, punctual (to the point of even getting started early), and thorough. He caught even the smallest details. He explained every problem area, even including recommendations on how to fix the issue. My realtor was so impressed with how detail oriented he was, that she scheduled him immediately to do an inspection on her own new home. The cost is very reasonable for the work completed. His final review documents are thorough and very descriptive. I will recommend him to every person that I know that needs a home inspection.

They were very easy to work with. I scheduled an appointment online with their convenient web-scheduler. After the appointment was scheduled, I needed to re-schedule due to an unforeseen conflict, and I emailed Nick on a Sunday and got a prompt response saying to just let him know what day I wanted to update to, and it would be no problem. On the day of the inspection, the inspector was very friendly, and spent 3 hours walking me around the home pointing out any issues he found. He was very knowledgable, and very thorough in his inspection. I got the full report later that night, with pictures and details about the home, and issues categorized by severity. Overall I was very impressed and would use them again.

They were just really good. They had good ratings on Angie's List and then I also have a couple of friends who have used them. They are a little more pricey but with the 2 personal recommendations, that was why I selected them. I thought they did a good job. They were really nice, they showed up early, and they were thorough. My realtor was very impressed with them and I thought that was probably a good thing since she has met a lot of inspectors. She was really happy with them and felt like they did an above average job. They were a little pricier than other people but considering the quality of service, I think it was worth it.

I have had several inspections but never one this good and so well organized. He checked everything thoroughly not missing a think. He was very careful always wearing shoe covers and he even went through the attic space. I'm totally impressed!

Inspector Nick was professional from beginning to end. He gave us a very detailed overview of the home we were purchasing and provided with a awesome follow report with photos and suggested improvements. Communication: I specifically requested to have the inspection with Nick, but another inspector, Kevin came. He came early and did the outside inspection in careful way. Process: Kevin inspected inside and outside. There are to major concerns for me: 1. We already finished the inspection of the basement and went up the floor. However, I insisted that him to check the foundation again. He then came down again to take a look. The foundation issue turned out to be OK, but it is when he found a hole on the stairs and spot a totally termite damaged supporting column behind it. We are lucky for this last minute finding. But this structure should be on his checklist on the first time. 2. He does suggests a structure engineer, which is certainly an excellent measure. As it turned out to be that the foundation has serious issue as well. In the end, we walked away from this property.

Inspector Nick was very professional and well prepared. He explained everything he was doing thoroughly. He found some problems that a previous inspector had missed just 3 weeks before! We feel like getting the inspection done was well worth it and are very satisfied with the service. We got our report in 20 minutes, it was readable and the pictures on it were very helpful in revieweing the report.

Home inspector Nick Welty was already waiting for me when I arrived. He was prompt and friendly yet professional. He was thorough yet efficient. He would take the time to show me and explain in layman terms so I could understand what he was seeing. He would let me know the good things as well as possible concerns and would even explain which probably need more urgent attention and which would be okay for a while but to keep an eye on. He was very competent and friendly and would gladly recommend him to a friend. He crawled around on roof, inside attic, and searched and tested small places and wiring as well as plumbing to be very complete about any possible concerns. I was very pleased with his professional and friendly service.

Inspector stayed at home for 3 hours thoroughly inspecting every floor. Was easy to talk to and took the time to explain all of the items showing up on his report. Additionally I received the report the same day as the inspection!

We really liked working with Nick. He was delayed, but promptly communicated with us. He did a very thorough walk through of the house taking the time to explain things that we will want to monitor when we take ownership of us. He also was able to give us ballpark pricing and made a few minor repairs (such as screwing on a door to the cabinets) as he came across them. His services were easy to book and pay for online and he pre-sent the paperwork so it could be reviewed before the appointment making it a breeze to sign everything the day of. I would not hesitate to use Nick's services in the future or to recommend him to others looking for a great inspector.

Kevin arrived on time and we felt he was very thourough not only in his inspection, but also in explaining how the home worked, as well as explaining some routine maintenance items. We were overly impressed by Kevin and the report and would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I scheduled the inspection online - very user friendly website. The inspector showed up on time, was very thorough and professional, explained his findings well and provided a detailed electronic report with photos of every potential problem discovered. Sure beats the old carbon copy paper reports I have come to expect from other inspectors.

I left a message for Nick and he called me right back. We agreed on a time and day for the inspection of a house my wife and I are under contract to buy. Nick confirmed by email. The inspector was Kevin. He called me the morning of the inspection to confirm the appointment again. The inspection was performed with my wife and myself along with the current home owners present. Kevin was engaging and detailed about what he was doing. He answered questions and offered solutions to basic situations. A radon test was advised during the inspection and so we added it. We were all pleased with the job Kevin did. I would call on Nick's again and ask for Kevin to inspect. This is the third time I have called on Angie's list to help Our family with "something". I have been pleased with the help each time.

My wife has a background working with trades and was impressed by his thoroughness. She observed the inspection firsthand which took approximately three hours, exactly the time he had estimated. Kevin also identified areas that could use some help but did not affect our purchase of the home. Going beyond requirements, Kevin provided us with the estimated remaining life for various building components including the roof. His input helped us form an action plan for what we plant to do on a short-, interim- and longer- term basis. The overall experience was very positive. Communications from the company were timely and professional from the beginning of the process through completion of the official inspection reports. The inspector arrived on time and completed a thorough inspection of the residence. He pointed out several areas of concern, some major and some minor, during the inspection. These concerns were included in the inspection report and documented both textually and by pictures. The reports were well organized, both by the level of concern, and by the category in which the concern existed, i.e. plumbing, HVAC, etc.

I thought we got a good deal with InspectorNick.com. He came right before my warranty was up so he saved me a lot of money on that. He was on time, I couldn't say anything better about him, he spent time with me going over my house and he did a lot of education. It was well worth the $75. He said he would be there at 3:00 and he was there at 2:54.

My husband and I used Nick to inspect our new home that we purchased in April. He seemed to be very thorough in his initial review of the house ? but just 60 DAYS after moving in we found the house to have significant water damage due to poorly sealed windows and siding. This damage has resulted in cracked walls and rotten sheetrock, costing us thousands of dollars in repairs. We reached out to Nick to re-inspect the problem areas to help us identify the root cause of the issue and he seemed willing and supportive, at first. After 2 cancelled appointments he showed up 30 minutes late to the third. During his visit he was rushed and seemed only interested in taking photos and proving that he was not at fault, rather than assisting us to diagnose the issues. It?s quite apparent, as confirmed by numerous contractors who have investigated the issues, that Nick missed obvious clues in his inspection of the house which should have been noticed by someone of his professional expertise.
