He pretended to be a third party when I had discovered that my roof vents had been put on incorrectly causing moisture to be trapped in my attic which in turn froze when extreme cold weather came and then melted and destroyed every ceiling in my home. This same water that was froze in my attic and melted also destroyed my siding and you could clearly see that it had destroyed my siding from the inside out since there was insulation from the inside of my home mixed with the water that had burst from my interior. With all of these very obvious things that had occurred at the same time Nick decided to ignore everything that I had said and didn't want to look at my pictures of the ice that had formed or my destroyed ceilings and he sided with his buddies at the big corporate roofing company. You can literally go to mocasenet and punch inspectornick.com into the name and pull up lawsuits filed against this company. I wouldn't trust him.

He has not done the job good at all. Now I see plenty of issues he didn't even talk about it and not mentioned in his report. 1st review I gave him was good be'z I was not having the proper knowledge. Now I know the details, and I can say for sure he has not done the good job. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM AT ALL.

Company conducted a home inspection for a house I was purchasing. They are easy to do business with and are on time and provide clear pricing and information. I added two services to the basic home inspection as I went through the process. This also proved to be easy and quick. Results were documented well and delivered quickly.

Inspector Kevin Lancaster did a thorough job on the inspection for a home I was considering buying. He came up with multiple problems which would have cost me a small fortune if I had gone through with the purchase. His inspection saved me from making a major mistake. They showed up right on time and were done in about 2 hours.

Arrived 5 min early, walked me through the entire house, inside and out, pointing out all the Major and minor concerns of my newly constructed house. He found an improperly sloped water pipe and numerous other small problems that left unchecked can become big problems. I never would have found most of these issues by myself and glad I payed the money for the inspection.

On time and thorough. Went over his results with me before he created his report. I had a detailed inspection report PDF with photos and explanations of areas of concern within a few hours.

He was extremely detailed and informative. His report provide much needed details to address suspected issues. I did not realize how thorough he was until I had a structural engineer review a few items that Nick has suggested in his report. One of these items included a floor joist that was not properly constructed and supported. Even the structural engineer wanted to know who I had used to inspect my house, because he indicated that the other 99% of home inspectors would have never even had caught the problem with that specific joist.

Nick was fantastic! Couldn't have asked for a better, more comprehensive report. I learned a lot while going through the home with him. I came away with a great understanding of the home and what needed to be addressed.

Bryan performed this inspection for my mother and took over 3 hours for an inspection that usually takes 1 hour. They once again did a great job. I used them for my pre-listing on my current home and was very impressed then and once again impressed in this inspection. This inspection was extremely thorough and they outlined page after page of minor concerns that are easily fixable and a few major concerns that we will be negotiating with the seller. They even found an identified a gas leak! Wonderful work and highly recommended.

It went great. The inspector was very thorough and identified a number of things we needed to fix prior to listing our house. We feel confident that our house will easily sell knowing we have corrected all the items they identified in addition to all the major repairs had already completed.

Kevin was our inspector and was very easy to talk to. We arrived early and he was already on the roof starting his inspection. He encouraged us to follow him and ask questions. He explained everything he was inspecting and what he was looking for. He answered all our questions in a manner we could easily understand. Any issues he found that needed attention before we bought the home was explained to us and what should be done. Our realtor was impressed with him and may even use him in the future. Our report was sent to us within a couple hours. He even tightened our kitchen cabinets! We would absolutely recommend him to anyone.

Very accommodating to a last minute inspection. Pointed out a lot of fine details that were issues that needed to be corrected. Great detailed electronic report that was provided within 24hrs.

Even before scheduling the appointment I went to their website to examine their services and it was very straightforward. Then I tried their online scheduling system to figure out if they were going to be available in the next few days. I did not end up completing the appointment but a few hours after putting it in I received a call from their office manager asking if everything went ok with the scheduling and if I was having any issues. I told her that I was not yet ready to schedule an appointment and just wanted to see the general availability of their inspectors. She was very informative and told me that scheduling would not be difficult because it was nearing winter. Later, before signing an initial contract on a house, I was able to call the office manager directly and schedule an appointment. She was able to schedule with a few days which was a critical issue for me because of a short inspection period of 10 days. I received an email shortly after with straightforward links to sign an agreement, pay for the inspection, and to download the invoice. On the day of the inspection I arrived 15 minutes early and my inspector, Kevin Lancaster, was already there waiting for me along with the sewer drain inspector. After talking with Kevin I learned that they subcontract out the sewer drain investigation and the chimney inspection which is great because they handle all of the scheduling for you. While waiting for my buyer's agent to arrive Kevin started walking around the property with me and pointing out different minor issues with the exterior. Once my agent showed up the sewer drain inspector went straight to work using a camera on the drain. Meanwhile, Kevin walked me through the interior of the house pointing out several minor issues once again. Eventually we came to the roof and he was quick to point out the issue of composition over wood shingle. He described to me how most insurance companies will not insure it. Then, when in the garage, he was able to identify an electrical panel that was a recall and a fire hazard. He was also able to warn me about having the furnace and water heater in the garage. He explained how for some loans they require a barrier because of the possibility of a vehicle striking either piece of equipment. Eventually the chimney guy showed up a little late but Kevin left once he had finished with his inspections. Later that night I was able to receive a full report of all issues with the house except the chimney inspection and radon report. The radon report was completed and given to me the next day. It turned up high levels of radon. As for the chimney inspection report from the subcontractor, I only received bids but no true inspection report. I called the office manager back for inspector nick and explained the situation and she got right on top of it and called the chimney company to make sure that it was sent to me. Overall I was very pleased with the service from InspectorNick.com. Their office manager was always on top of things. Their inspection report revealed major issues that could have cost me a lot of money had I purchased the home. My only complaint was that their subcontractor for the chimney inspections was not as well on top of things. I will definitely use InspectorNick.com again when I eventually buy a house.
