Description of Work: Performed an energy audit of our home. The technician was very professional, cleaned up well and provided a very useful report containing options of work we could have performed to improve the energy efficiency of our home.

Description of Work: Insulated my roof. I haven't had anyone get up in my roof to check the work but they seemed very thorough and cleaned up great afterward. I would call on them again.

Description of Work: I called The Hays company on two different occasions to schedule an Energy Audit. I was told I would receive a call from Jeff to schedule this. I was also told by the person who answered that she didn't know how the Angie's list coupon works. She tried to call Jeff when I was on the phone and could not get a hold of him. She was very friendly and tried to be helpful. I have never received a call from Jeff and will no longer try using this company or coupon.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal coupon for The Hayes Company. They came in and did a whole house energy inspection which included infrared photographs and then they put a sign on the front door and checked the airflow on it.

Description of Work: Whole house energy audit utilizing infrared camera, reverse pressure fan, visual inspection, etc. They were very thorough, took the time to explain the process and their findings, and provided a comprehensive report, including photos, graphs, etc., detailing their findings. I was very satisfied with the process.

Description of Work: I purchased an energy audit of my house with a Groupon to determine if I had any major leaks. I was given several ideas of areas I could improve the energy efficiency of my home. The ideas were broken down into different phases and priced separately so that I could better budget what I felt would benefit my immediate needs the most. The two technicians who came to perform the audit were extremely knowledgable, professional yet personable. I have not done any of the work yet due to other unforeseen expenses but I would trust the Hayes Company to complete it when my circumstances allow me to.

Their assesment listed recomended improvements in sealing air leaks and additional insulation in the attic and two other areas. I would recomend The Hayes Company to my friends.

Description of Work: Mike McDonnel came by and immediately started walking through my 1932 Brookside house. He found so many idiot things that previous homeowners had done that were total counter-intuitive to saving energy. I spent the following weekend in my basement chalking and taping ductwork. We're already noticing a difference in the way the house feels. He quoted putting insulation into our attic, ripping out the old insulation and putting blow in insulation into the walls. It was around $7,000 and we're going to have to piece-meal it. After meeting Mike I would not give any insulation work to anyone else. He's a man on a mission. Very nice, easy going guy.
