Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

They did a fantastic job. They were the most convenient plumber I have ever used. It took them about an hour-and-a-half to two hours to get the work completed. They did a nice job cleaning up.

Roto Rooter has disappointed me. On the 9th of December 2016 I was experiencing a leak in my kitchen from my sink. I called Roto Rooter expecting a reputable business but instead I found myself shelling out over $300 to fix the wrong issue & when I called them back the next day they would not make it right and fix the real issue with no cost to me. I will never refer this business and urge anyone reading this to make the right decision & not select this provider or you risk shelling out money to a company that does not believe in the concept of making it right for the customer when it is their fault.

We've always had good service with them. Overall, I'd say great. I've used them off and on for 30 years. They've helped us solve numerous problems. They used the camera to find the problem and contacted the city to fix it. They provided the service that I asked for. Punctuality has always been good. Even on holidays.

They did very well. They always charge more than it's worth, but I'd say it's average. Can't be worse than the others. They were very responsive. I would absolutely use them again.

Work was completed as expected. Very expensive service call, wasn't too crazy about that.

No problems what so ever. Called them one day and they were out the next. I think $150.00 would have been better. I liked best that it was done and that it worked.

They did a great job. They showed up. They did what they said they were going to do. They explained everything and different rate points and cost. I think that's what I like about them too, is they will tell you, okay for this amount of money I can get this much done, but if you want more, then it's going to be this amount so you get a pretty clear idea of how much your going to owe them. Even when you call the office, that if they don't answer your phone call the minute you call, they call back within probably 10 minutes with a scheduling person and they listen to what you need and then they say what realistically they are going to be able to get a person out there. And I've always been usually that day.

We discovered a puddle of water on our basement floor due to a leaking sump pump (on the Sunday morning of a holiday weekend). We submitted an on-line Roto-Rooter appointment request and a plumber arrived within 30 minutes (to our great relief). Chris L. (tech #0368) completed the replacement of the damaged check valve. He performed the work in a professional and personable way. He made an unpleasant incident pleasant. Will will call Roto-Rooter for any future plumbing issues, and definitely recommend them to our friends, neighbors, and family. Great job, great employee, great company.

Tech did a great job and explained how to help prevent clogs in the future.

They fixed the pipe shower it was broken and it looks amazing now not water leaking so glad cause it was making such a mess

Gray was prompt and quick. He had to go to a specific plumbing supply place to get the replacement parts. Having that knowledge saved tons of time.

David arrived in the middle of my little disaster. We had been doing our best, as laymen to deal with 2 toilets that hadn't flushed since Thursday afternoon when they both overflowed spewing black water. We had rented a 75" snake and then a 100'. neither worked to solve the issues. We actually pulled the downstairs bathroom toilet. Then David arrived. He diagnosed the issues, determined he didn't have a part he needed on his truck, so he drove 20miles to the nearest Ace store. Meantime, I decided to replace the downstairs stool as the biggest culprit was calcified Calcium in the flush holes. David validated my decision to replace it and suggested a product that will dissolve the Calcium deposits.

Called when I found the pipe leading from the kitchen was overflowing into the basement. Within about an hour Chase showed up. He was very thorough, ensuring that every possible cause of the clog was properly taken care of. Once he was done he even took the time to make sure that the area was mopped up and sanitized. The quick response and professionalism and courtesy from all employees I had contact with definitely have me using them again.

Technician was courteous, said he was new. Spent some time on auxiliary drains that was unnecessary. Did clear clog from main drain. I have hired in past and paid around 100-125$ for clean out from tree roots at an older house. Was very surprised to find my husband paid a charge of $289 for one hours work and no tree roots. $289 per hour!

I don’t like them too much. They are pricey but they are usually very prompt. Their servicemen are good, polite and good at what they do. I had a little issue with the quality.

This was the most thorough cleaning of the pipes. A brand new machine and cutter head got the 55 year old pipes flowing smoothly in time for Christmas guests!

The company culture of ROTO-ROOTER is excellent! From my first call to explain my problem and to set the appointment, to the person who called to say the plumber would be there in 30 minutes and then to the plumber-all were professional, courteous, good listeners, kind and all had a "We can do this attitude." I called late in the evening and the appointment was set for the next morning. The plumber, Phillip (3390), arrived on time and gave an estimate. The price was reasonable for the service performed and I was able to use a coupon from the company's website. The work was performed with high quality materials and Phillip showed quality workmanship in the installation. He explained the process to me and we inspected all aspects of the final job details together. Phillip took time to answer my questions and didn't try to hurry through the job. He was detail oriented and cleaned up carefully after the work was performed. Phillip also educated me on the proper care of the drain pipes in my house. Each employee performance was a reflection of the excellent company culture-Special thanks to Phillip!

The technicians Nick #399 and Chris #3568 were great!. Nick got there first and went straight to work and then Chris got there and they both worked all day without stopping and did an excellent job. Nick and Chris are both very friendly and very knowledge about the plumbing business. They even did a few extra things of the plumbing that we were going to do but they did it for us and did not add to the bill. They took away all of the old plumbing pipes and an old toilet for us. I know $1900 sounds a little pricey but if you would have seen these 53 year rusty cast iron pipes and the condition they were in and the fact they took all of the old piping and a toilet with them so we did not have to try and dispose of it ourselves, we thought it was worth it. We would hire them again!!

I accepted the price that was quoted. I advised of a discount coupon on the website that for some reason could not be printed. He gave me a price that reflected the coupon. He proceeded to start work cleaning the drains. This was after he explained the process; and verified the distance to the city's sewer line. He was very careful bringing the equipment into my home and assured that the equipment did scratch my floors. He, also, cleaned up all residue from the machine. He was pleasant and professional. He thoroughly answered any questions that I had and provided the Pipe Shield product which with use could help prevent future build up in the drain lines.
