Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

We requested a plumber to help with replacing an outside water spigot. He was three hours late. Then told us that the fee was $600. When we declined service, the tech was angry.

They did a good job, it was fast and efficient. they good people, pleasant and prompt. they took care of the problem quickly. Very Friendly and professional. I have no complaints at all with the two gentlemen that came.

unprofessional. I called and said my sink is leaking. They were to call be before the person comes to my home. Instead I got the call after the person came over. Person who came was in a unmarked vehicle, no company name. Family member let him in and he took pictures of the sink and said "oh , this is a plumbing problem, I have to call a plumber". No kidding, that is what I had asked for on the phone. They sent over a water restoration person. I called the company back got bounced around to 2 different "dispatchers" I asked to speak to a supervisor, to which they said that is a 1 hours wait or a call back. They had to write up a complaint. Unprofessional, sent the wrong person just so they can say they "responded to the call", many more options to choose from.

Went well. It had been running slowly due to accumulation of hair and other gunk... Lee (TN# 0212) was the Technician that did the work. He was excellent.

Keith from Roto-rooter did an excellent job clearing a blockage from our downstairs drain pipe. He educated us on the problem, the options to fix it, and offered long-term recommendations going forward. We truly appreciate his expertise and willingness to help us prevent a recurrence.

It went fine. We asked if the main line needed to be cleaned out & were told that wasn't necessary. We really appreciate the honesty as many companies these days care more about making money.

Called them at 7:30am for a service call and was told they would call me back within the hour to schedule a time to arrive. 20 minutes later another company called trying to sell me mold removal for the damage the burst pipe had done. Roto-rooter has given them my phone number without my permission. I hadn’t even solved the original problem yet! Roto-rooter eventually called me back at 1:45pm to schedule a time to arrive later that evening. NOT within the hour that they had promised 6 hours ago. By that time we had already fixed the burst pipe with another company. So unprofessional.

We did not have any running water in our house so the issue was clearly urgent. After quoting one hour but taking ELEVEN to arrive, they told us the issue was going to cost $3K because the problem could only be fixed by making major changes to our system. We then called RAZOR ROOTER. They showed up in less than an hour even though it was after 10pm, unclogged the drain in fifteen minutes and charged us $80. They are now the only plumber we will EVER call.

I wasn’t happy about the price. Roto Rooter was here already working on the toilet. I was having my air conditioning and furnace/heating changed out, and the guy installing it, noticed water coming from above down into the basement where the heater is. So I had the HVAC guy here installing that stuff and Roto Rooter here trying to fix the toilet. The drying out of the floor, they did fine, they dried it out, it was just bloody expensive. They accomplished the work they were trying to achieve. I still don’t understand why they charged so much. Quality was good. The guy doing the toilet work, called the other guy to come in for the floor. It all happened with in the same time parallel.

I was extremely satisfied with that work. I'm not going to give them anything lower than an "A" for price, I appreciate the quality of service they provided. I would use them again. While they are priced above some of the other companies out there, it is well worth it considering the work they do and their level of professionalism. The workers were absolutely fantastic.

Well; work done quickly and completely

Excellent job! Very professional, easy to set up an appointment after hours on the web site, they called to verify appointment, and the service man showed up on time!

The technician clearly explained the process and the pricing. We ended up needing more than one roll of the auger line, so there was an additional charge, but all was clearly explained in advance. The "rooting" was successful and we have had no additional issues after several weeks so far.

They found the blockage quickly without snaking and were there about 20 minutes, but they charged $250.00 for one guy for 20 minutes. Didn't seem reasonable to me at all. Last time I had this done, it was about $80.00, and the guy was there snaking for about 45 minutes.

The water restoration estimator showed up promptly the same evening of the event and went through what areas had gotten wet and what work would need to be performed to dry out my basement. I signed an estimate stating the work would be between $2100 -$2500 total and was told verbally that the total amount would not go over $2500. When the final bill came the total was $4,125 dollars. Calls to Roto Rooter were not returned as I tried to get an itemized list of the work done and a copy of the electronic estimate I signed the night of the work to try and understand how we ended up with a $1600 overage. At the end of the day my insurance company agreed to pay the total amount. This review only applies to the drying of my basement, the plumber who replaced my sump pump charged exactly what he estimated the cost to be before replacing the pump.

Great. They done what we expected and then extra on top of that. Their service was awesome and their prices were reasonable and fair. They were very pleasant to deal with.

It was great. Usually it lasts about six months and then they grow back.

They did a fantastic job. He was very professional. He got out of your road quick. We were just very satisfied with him. He was very nice.

The person who came and checked it out said they would dig from the fence to the flag he had placed. The diggers only dug in one spot so time will tell if the problem is actually fixed as they filled it back in without checking with the first person to see if it was the correct spot. Left a huge mound of dirt in the hard without leveling or grading it into the surrounding environment so now I have to manually do it.

Larry was very professional and knowledgeable and took care of my plumbing problem. He communicated well and I knew the cost before he did the work. He cleaned up well afterward. He also recommended "Pipe Shield" - a product that Roto Rooter sells that will condition your pipes so that you may have less service calls. I have been using Roto Rooter for years and have never been disappointed!
