Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

l called one day and and Roto-Rooter came the next day to investigate and give an estimate for the repair work. A heater duct had to be removed first by others. Got it moved the next morning, called Roto-Rooter and the same plumber came back that afternoon and stayed till 7:00 pm till he got the work done. They called to let me know when they would be there and they were punctual. The serviceman was knowledgeable and courteous. He did only what was needed and had me look at and check work. I will call Roto-Rooter next time I need plumbing services.

I was happy with how quickly a technician was able to come to my home (within 2 hours of placing the call). Mark did a good job and was clean and courteous. The total price was expensive for 30 minutes of work, but I expected as much and was glad to use the Angie's List coupon.

I like them, they do a good job. My lines are 150 feet long and there are a lot of plumbing people that don’t carry that much line. I usually inform them ahead of time how much line I have, so they send me the appropriately equipped truck. They did a really good work. They were clean and they didn’t scatter the mess. They picked up off to themselves and they worked in the space that I had available without complaining.

It could not have been done better. Keith Satomi was very friendly, even my dogs loved him. He went over the explanation of what was wrong and how he was going to fix it. He very quickly set to work and within about 5 minutes my clogged was released. He even encouraged me to watch him, I learned a lot in just those few minutes. He was so nice he even played with the dogs afterward. Best service guy I've ever had at my house!

Robert S. fixed the problem quickly, was very friendly and offered us advice to avoid the problem again. Great experience. Expensive, but PROMPT. And Robert was so nice we nearly asked him to stay for ribs. But he was off to help someone else with a very positive attitude. Really nice guy. Thanks, Robert! Our friends hardly knew there was a problem!

He replaced washer on spout of the faucet in hall bathroom. Nick was very good and fast! He also let me use a $40 off coupon from Angie's list. I was pleased with his work!

It was great. Ken was very polite and patiently answered all of my questions. He quickly diagnosed the problem, them fixed the line.

Roto-Rooter called before the time he was to arrive and told us he was running late, which we appreciated. Robert S. was the technician and he was very knowledgeable,friendly and professional. He unplugged the drain leaving no mess and left us a bottle of your Roto-Rooter pipe shield. We'll use Roto-Rooter again if there is a need.

3 hours past their own 3 hour window and still no call & no show

Arrived about 1 hr late because of weather but he was very professional & completed his work within 90 minutes

The technician used a camera to find a break in service line, and crew was called to excavate and repair break and unclog additional blockages. They worked extra hard in order to fix the problem and explained what was going on every step of the way. We very much appreciated the way they did their job and now everything works fine.

Kenny was the plumber. He arrived in good time. Fixed the kitchen drain and made sure all was cleaned up before leaving. Kenny provided good advice on how to avoid another stopped drain! Roto-Rooter doesn't charge for weekend or night visits (thank god), but the charged seemed a little steep, although I have no idea if it's competitive with other plumbers. Kenny knew his job and I was very satisfied with the service! I would use Roto-Rooter again.

Kitchen sink backed up on a Saturday. Called Roto Rooter, we've used them before and were very pleased. They told me they could have someone here between 5 pm and 8 pm and that they would call 30 minutes before so we'd know. It all went exactly as they said and Kenny showed up right on time. Kenney was very courteous, polite, and knowledgeable. He surveyed the problem and explained exactly what he would have to do and gave us a firm price, which included a discount and 6 month warranty. It took him a couple of hours working diligently while insuring he protected the surfaces he was working on. He was marvelous and took time all along the way to explain what was happening. We couldn?t be more satisfied. We?ve use them before and because of Kenney, we?ll use them again.

I think RotoRooter did outstanding work. They explained problems they resolved, and gave me some idea of whether problems could reoccur. They explained what they had done and why. All the employees I dealt with were pleasant and professional and very willing to answer questions. The answers were in terms I could understand. Who'da thunk such outstanding work could have a downside: they do such a thorough job, the time to the next appt is underestimated, big time. My first appt was made on a Friday for a 11 to 2 window. At 2:30 p.m. I called to find out the status of the service call since I hadn't heard anything. Later around 3, a dispatcher said the plumber would be here in 30-45 minutes. At 4 p.m. still no show. Another problem was uncovered during the work: a slow drip from the toilet into the basement. After the main line was repaired, I was told more than 6 times that they would set up an appt for a toilet seal repair. The window for this appt was 8 to 11, on a Wed. At 10:30 a.m. the plumber called to confirm my service appt and to say he was running late. He thought a noon to 2p.m. window was more realistic. At 2:54, I await the plumber, not having heard anything else. By my estimate, I've waited at home for RotoRooter to show more than 11 hours, and still waiting. These folks have issues. Don't make plans for your near future if you use them.

I would like to commend Roto-Rotor for the follow -up and resolvence of my initial complaint requarding a service call for a water-pump in 2013. I initally shurgged it off as a and quot;I got takenedand quot; situation and posted this on Angie's List. Apparently after reading this on Angie's List, I recieved a call from one of the managers from Roto-Rooter who voiced a true concerned with the situation. A resolution was offer and recieved. Thank You. I have used Roto-Rooter services in the past and have been satisfied with there services.

He knew what he was doing, and did it, well. I thought the price was pretty high. I was told, by my wife, to use another guy, who charged $45/hour, but instead went with this well known firm. They charged about $150/hour, and didn't do any better job than the $45/hour guy.

Didn't have some of the equipment needed so old fixtures replaced. This took only about 30-40 min. and was charged $249.00.

Promptly got a qualified crew to fix the problem as soon as the issue was identified (same day). All personnel were courteous and professional. I would definitely call them for future needs.

This was my second time having Roto Rooter come out to my house to clean out the main line within four months. I wish that the first plumber from Roto Rooter would have offered to run a camera down the line to see what was the cause of the problem. This time I had Chris run the camera down and assess the cost of replacing the pipes. He was very professional and courteous. In fact, he even apologized for them not offering that service last time. I'm not for sure how they measure up cost wise with other companies, but I know that professionalism and courtesy go a long way, so I'll be calling Roto Rooter with all of my plumbing needs!

They had to take out an old flap trap (only used in old houses) which was full of debris over 40 years. They had to put in pvc tubing in place of the trap this is no longer used in houses. Although this was expensive, this beats having a plumber come out and snaking all the time of which would only move the debris around for some drainage to occur for about a week. Then we would be bacl to slow drains to eventually a non movable clog. ||They had to saw off large metal pipes and the large flap trap-extensive work. My bathroom sink and tub drain like new now. Sometimes it is hard for inexperienced plumers to find the old large round flap traps in houses. Emillio was my plummer and was awesome! Kansas City, MO

The technician guided a TV camera through the main sewer line from the basement to the street connection. The technician and I viewed the video results. The technician pointed out several spots where the sections were no longer aligned properly and also two breaks in the line as well as numerous tree roots.
