Response from Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup
The original service call was performed on September 13, 2010 to clear a kitchen sink stoppage. There was grease in the line and the grease was removed and the kitchen sink line cleaned. Three weeks later, on October 4, 2010, we recieved a call that the toilets were not flushing. We explained to the Member that the new stoppage was a seperate problem and not related to the work we did previously. In either case our service manager agreed to send a service technician at no cost to the Member and access the situation. When our technician arrived he found that the kitchen sink was still working fine but the toilet itself was stopped up. We decided to go ahead and take care of the toilet stoppage at no charge to the Member in the spirit of customer satisfaction. Upon inspection of the toilet it was determined that the toilet did not have sufficient flushing power due to the age of the toilet and mineral deposit buildup. We recommended the toilet be replaced but to date we have not heard back from the Member. Short of replacing the Member's toilet at no charge we feel we went above and beyond to make sure the Member was satisfied.
