I called twice and was told they would be out the next day both times. They never showed up and never called.

Work was great. Chris was timely, punctual and did a great job. I would call him again for future repairs.

It was very good. He was here for the estimate at the time promised. He repaired the roof. We have had a few rains since the repair and it has not leaked.

Because Chris is such a solid worker at such reasonable prices for the work he performs, he was overbooked and took far longer to perform the work than originally discussed. He added a few small repairs at no charge to compensate and I was very pleased with what I received for the money spent. I would definitely recommend him to others, but would caution them about the potential backlog if timing were an issue for them.

Chris was very professional, kind, and took the time to educate us on the condition our roof was in and what he thought was necessary to fix until we could afford to completely replace the roof. He was respectful of what our financial abilities would allow and gave us options for fixing the problems we had encountered. He completed the work in a timely fashion, and waited to bill us until he was sure the problem was fixed. We were extremely happy with the work and would recommend him to friends and family.

Did experience some rain delay, but work was finished as promised.

Chris Owen, the owner of Roof & Home Exterior Repair, personally completed all the work in a highly professional way. In the midst of blazing, humid, July Missouri weather; not only did he repair the roof (which included the removal and replacement of lightning rods), but he also resealed all vents and chimney flashing. When work was completed each day, he made sure all debris was picked up and hauled away. We found Chris very easy to work with, and the 3-week wait for a schedule opening was acceptable. His prices are reasonable. Overall, it was an exceptional and enjoyable experience!

I liked him very much and his repair resolved the leak in the roof. It did take quite a bit of time to get him out here, but I was very pleased with his work once he was able to come.

The work he did was good, but he didn't finish. I asked him to check on an issue by the front door, and he found it was a problem with the gutter guard which he removed. This then led to a problem with water coming in above the front door. He said twice that he would come and take a look and fix it, set up 2 appts but never showed up. I called and said if he was too busy or couldnt' do the work, that was fine, just let me know. He said he would call over the weekend and come take a look, but I heard nothing. I wish he would just be honest and say he didn't want to work on it, so that I could have gone ahead and hired someone else and saved more interior damage (due to the rain). Seems like a nice guy, so it's a shame.

This company will not return repeated phone calls, and has made appointments to come and bid and not ever called or appeared.

Two weeks after I received and estimate I called him to accept the work. He said he'd put me on the list and I waited two weeks with no work done. I called him back and he said he'd been busy but he'd get to me. I waited 3 weeks and he still hadn't got to me. I called him and he said he'd be out the following Monday. He didn't show and I didn't hear anything from him. I ended up going with another provider.

On time, performed the work they were asked to do, with very good treatment of the customer.

Chris called me right back when I contacted him & came over to give me an estimate. Said it would be several weeks before he could do the job, which was OK with me. He gave me a written estimate. After several weeks passed, I contacted him & he told me he was coming that day. He came one day & did the gutters, & came another & did the shingles & turbines. He left a message on my answering machine to tell me the turbines he brought for my house were not right & he would have to get new ones. He installed the new ones the same day. I did not know if he was done with the job or not, but the next day he called to tell me he was. I told him there were several areas on the roof that looked funny to me & he said he would come out & look at them, which he did the same day. Chris honored the coupon I found for his services in the Angie's List newsletter. One minor issue is that there was some trash left behind that is stuck in my bushes.

Chris was very thorough in his explanation of the problem. He arrived on time and very courteous. The work was completed when he said it would be completed. I definitely will call him again.

I made an appointment on a Thursday evening for the following Monday. I did have to make a reminder call on Monday, although Chris did have a good reason for forgetting. He then came very soon, inspected the roof problem and explained it to me clearly. Since part of the problem had to do with clogged gutters, he recommended that I install guards (which I'd been going to ask him about anyway). His quote for both the repair and guard installation was very reasonable in my opinion, considering the extent of the work and size of the roof. He performed the work the next week and left a bill. When I call to clarify something on the bill, he explained the matter understandably. It seemed to me that the repair problem was slightly more extensive than he had originally said, but he did not charge me any more for the work. Very neat - didn't even have a mess from the gutter cleaning! I will definitely call him for other repair work.

WOULD LIKE TO HAVE PHONE CALLS RETURNED.

ARRIVED WHEN SCHEDULED FOR THE ESTIMATE AND COMPLETED JOB SOONER THAN EXPECTED. IT HAS RAINED SINCE THE REPAIR WORK AND IT APPEARS THAT THE WORK HAS SOLVED MY LEAK PROBLEM.

CHRIS CAME OUT THE DAY I CALLED HIM. IT WAS RAINING, SO HE TRIED TO MAKE TEMPORARY REPAIRS. WHEN THAT DIDN'T WORK, HE COVERED THE ROOF WITH A TARP UNTIL THE WORK COULD BE DONE. WE HAD A PERSISTENT LEAK, BUT CHRIS FOLLOWED UP UNTIL HE COULD LOCATE THE PROBLEM AND FIX IT.

I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE JOB CHRIS DID. HE CAME OUT WITHIN A DAY OR TWO OF MY CALLING HIM AND COMPLETED THE WORK FOR THE PRICE QUOTED. I WOULD NOT THINK TWICE ABOUT HIRING HIM AGAIN IF THE NEED AROSE.

CHRIS WAS PUNCTUAL, THOROUGH AND WE WOULD DO BUSINESS WITH HIM AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT. HIS PRICE SEEMED VERY REASONABLE AND WE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT HIS SERVICE, THE JOB OR HIS PRICE.

HE WAS POLITE AND INFORMATIVE AND PROVIDED DETAIL ON NATURE OF THE PROBLEM AND POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS. OFFERED TWO OPTIONS, NOT TRYING TO INSIST ON THE MORE EXPENSIVE. HIS ESTIMATE MATCHED THE FINAL BILL, AND WE WERE PLEASED WITH THE TOTAL COSTS. HE INDICATED A ONE YEAR GUARANTEE ON THE WORK.

CHRIS DID THE WORK WHILE IT WAS RAINING BECAUSE THE ICE STORM WAS COMING. HE WAS CONCERNED THAT IT COULD BE MORE DAMAGE TO MY HOUSE IF HE DIDN'T GET IT DONE BEFORE THE ICE STORM CAME. HE LEFT ME A BILL AND I WAS ABLE TO MAIL HIM A CHECK INSTEAD OF LEAVING WORK TO MAKE SURE HE GOT PAID. HE WAS VERY NICE AND EXPLAINED MY ROOF PROBLEM TO ME BEFORE HE DID ANY WORK. HE QUOTED ME A PRICE AND THAT WAS WHAT HE CHARGED ME. I WOULD REFER HIM TO MY FRIENDS WHO NEED ROOF REPAIRS.

MR. OWENS WAS VERY POLITE, EXTREMELY COURTEOUS, AND LOCATED AND FIXED THE PROBLEMS IN A VERY EFFICIENT & PROFESSIONAL MANNER. A GOOD ROOF REPAIR MAN IS HARD TO FIND!
