Chris zipped over to give an estimate and upon seeing the situation and after we agreed upon services, he even got back over after 5:00 pm to do some stop-gap repair. I was in an emergency situation and he took care of the problem immediately. After some sprinkles, he and his colleague returned to fully complete all that he said he would do and the proof is in the fact that we have no hint of any leakage around our fireplace, at peaks, under eaves, etc. All looks good now after the two days of drizzle. Most of all, Chris Owen does what he says he will do. He is a man of his word and he knows how to repair home exteriors.

He arrived promptly on the same day as my call. He did the inspection and made a recommendation that I file a claim for roof damage because of hail.

I thought that most of the work that he did was good. It's just that the one spot on the roof that was most expensive to fix, still leaks. I gave him a call a month ago and told him that the roof still leaked. He told me that he would be out to fix it and he still has not.

Everything went great from start to finish. I called Chris and he came by that afternoon and gave a me a bid on the spot and suggested the gutter guards. He explained the problem I was seeing with the raised shingles and pointed out some problems with the seals on some of the vents. Chris thought the roof was in better shape than our inspector did which was a relief. He thought it might be a week or two before he could do the work but was actually out the next day due to a cancellation and completed all the work that day. The work was great. He even sealed an area on our porch while he was at it. Also, I suggested that the helicopter seeds from our front tree might penetrate the gutter guards he brought and after seeing the seeds he agreed and told me about another option. He went and picked them up right away. I was very impressed with his ability to get everything done so fast and I felt like I got a great deal considering how much he did.

I call this company so far all he has done is give me an estimate of $800 he is suppose to come out after the 4th of July, to start removing shingles and start to replace my roof.

I called Chris in the morning and he came out that afternoon to inspect and repair the plumbing pipes. I had gotten two other estimates that were much higher than Chris's and I had two other roofers tell me there was more work to be done on the roof than what Chris thought was necessary. Chris was punctual, did the work quickly and the price was very reasonable.

Never showed up. Called and spoke to Chris 3 times. 1st time came, gave estimate, and seemed professional and committed to have the work done with in a week for a fair price. My family left town for the summer and I came back through town a few weeks later for work only to find nothing had been done. I called Chris, he said they had been extra busy and he would get to it that week. When I came back in town 2 weeks later the work was not completed. I just called this morning and Chris said "This doesn't make any sense, why wouldn't you have hired someone else by now; we've obviously messed up your paper work and must have put something in the wrong column." I was dumbfounded, I didn't know what to say because he was right, and I guess I should have found someone else. I'm very embarrassed because my good neighbors have been coming in after each storm and cleaning up my basement. I feel like an idiot because I told them it was taken care of twice.

He came out the same day I called. He told me there was a flat fee up front, and I did not even have to be home during the work. He even guaranteed the work for a year. I did not meet him, but he seemed professional on the phone. I would use him again in the future and would recommend him to others.

Came and gave an estimate the same day I called. Temporarily sealed the issues and said he would be back next week to make the permanent fixes. Instead, he showed up the next day that finished the repairs because he had some extra time. Prompt, courteous and responsible.

Got Chris's name off of Angie's list along with a couple of others. Chris's estimate and total price was over 50% less than the one other roofing company that gave me an estimate. I'm not a roofer but everything looks fine and there is not water coming into my house. Needless to say I am very satisfied with Chris's work.

The work was done very well and I was very happy with it. He was easy to work with, responsive, and the price was fair. Originally I was just going to have him repair the down spout and I decided to have him put on the guards on the gutters to keep the leaves out because they were getting clogged with leaves.

OUTSTANDING! Chris Owen quickly diagnosed the problem areas on our roof and performed the necessary repairs at a reasonable price. Since his work, we have had several hard rains and I have not noticed any further leaks. This guy is awesome. I will definitely be using him again. He knows his stuff!

The night before I called Chris I had water literally gushing down one wall in my kitchen. Chris came out the same day I called him and assessed the problem. He indicated he would fix it within a week but two days later, on a Saturday when it was promising to rain, he came out to fix it before it rained and created more problems. Overall, I had a very positive experience with Chris. He gave great customer service at the quoted price and was very nice and pleasant to work with.

Chris did some work for us on our roof. We were so happy with his work, we scheduled him for another job that we had been planning for quite some time. We needed to get all of the trim on our home fixed and painted. There was a lot of trim that had lost its paint and needed scraped. He also did some repair work around our chimney and some other vents while he was here. Chris came in and had it done in one day - and did a great job. Looks great!

Chris Rocks!! My wife called me one morning at work and said that an 8' section of our shingles came off and there was a thunderstorm that was coming in that afternoon. I quickly got onto Angie's list and up came Chris' phone number. I called him and within 2 hours he was there and had the problem fixed - and he did it for a very reasonable price. In fact, we had a trim/paint project for him - but that is a different blog post. Great work Chris.

I called Chris one afternoon and he answered directly. He came out the next day to take a look at my problem. He gave me a quote right then and then came out a little over a week later to do the repair. I found him to be extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy.

Chris came to offer a bid within a day and charged me only for work necessary to pass inspection, not a whole bunch of stuff I didn't need. A week or so later it rained and I discovered I had a leak that even the inspector didn't catch so I called Chris back. Not only did he locate and fix the leak but didn't charge me extra because he "didn't catch it the first time". He was very nice, very professional, did everything he said he'd do and for a very fair price.

It went very well. Chris responded to my call right away and came out that same day to take a look and give estimate. Work was scheduled for following week but he called over the weekend and asked to come out on Sunday since it was going to rain most of the week we were scheduled. He and his helper got right to work when they arrived and showed us the problems and what they had done to repair. Final cost came in under his original estimate. It has rained quite a bit since the repair and no sign of a leak! Very satisfied with the work and company.

Chris Owen and his son Jeramy had worked for me before. Owning a 100 year old house, my husband and I have had dealings with many repair people over the last few years from the time it became our home. As I was highly pleased with the work I had Mr. Owen and his son do previously, and the fact that I knew without a doubt I could trust them, I knew Mr. Owen's company would be the one to call when I found evidence of leaking in the upstairs of my home. I called Mr. Owen and he came out the same day. He got up on the roof to check things out and gave me my estimate that afternoon. He and his workers started work the next week, yes, even in the freezing weather! They all worked hard from start to finish until the job was done. A week later we had heavy rains. Not one leak did we have. But then, I never doubted that.

They tried really hard but weren't able to fix the roof. They tried several times to repair it but I decided to go with another company.

The top of my house looked like Swiss cheese. It was an embarrassment. I researched and looked for someone dependable I could afford. Chris originally bid on just doing the roof and repairing the underside. I have a very deep soffit requiring a lot of work. He explained what needed to be done, how and why. He agreed to work within the budget I had and began work within a short time. They worked in snow, rain and bitterly cold weather to get the job completed in a timely fashion. After about the third day of work I was very pleased with things and when he gave me a bid on the gutters, the insulation and painting I asked him to do those things also. One day my street hadn't been cleared but they parked at the top of the hill and walked down to my house. That may seem small, but many repairmen, etc. refuse to do that so I was surprised to see them. My neighbors have commented on how nice things look and were impressed with the way they worked.

The service was excellent. I called Chris to see when he could come out and look at my roof. He came out within 2 days and identified the problem. Chris indicated that his crew had a full workload, but he would fit me in the following week. Chris' son Jeremy came out the following week and replaced the vents. The work was done professionally and the crew cleaned up the area when they were finished.

I had a leak in the kitchen and garage. His estimate was in line with other companies, except theirs included new shingles, and I didn't know his didn't. He did not put any new shingles in, and was only here for 3 hours. I think the price is too expensive since there were no new shingles. I am waiting to see if the leaks come back. Nothing about this service is what I expected. In the future, he should provide a written estimate with detail.

Chris's son originally came out to look at the damage the day after I called him. Chris was out of town at the time. I waited a couple of weeks for Chris to return in order for him to look at the roof as well and do the job. He returned my call the same day after coming back in town. The following day he looked at the roof and gave me an estimate of cost. I agreed to the job and he was there the following day to begin repairs. He had a lot of difficulty finding shingles to match the east side of the roof but was able to find some that were similar but not exact. Still not satisfied with the shingles not being exactly what he needed he drove across town and was able to locate shingles almost a complete match. The other shingles on the roof had been discontinued and the company that made them was no longer. He went well out of his way to satisfy. He was very meticulous. He was very well priced compared to other estimates. We were very pleased with his work. He was very professional.
