Description of Work: Repaired woodpecker holes and squirrel damage on second story exterior walls. Cleaned all gutters and provided and installed gutter covers. Chris was quick to return phone calls. He and his partner were very efficient and easy to deal with. This was my second time to use Chris' services. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: I Needed them to reflash around my chimney base and upper portion of the chimney. Since I purchased my home new in 1998, I've had water leakage coming in around the chimney into my living room. I never could get the builder to repair it correctly. I tried many times to repair it myself over the years. I was only able to slow the leak down but not stop it. Chris and I agreed upon a price of around $600 to do the job. I asked him to put everything in writing that he planned on doing. He said I will bring that tomorrow morning when I start on the job. When I woke up around 8 o'clock the next morning to the pounding noise on my roof I realized that he had already started. After he had started on the job I went up on the roof to see the progress about an hour later. I noticed that he was not putting the new flashing underneath the wall board of the chimney. I said to him I thought you were going to put the flashing underneath the wall board of the chimney. He said no you misunderstood I am just going to lay it against the wall board and seal it with caulk and put trim boards over it for the completion of the job. I answered that is not what I thought we agreed upon. He said well let me stop right now and I will put everything back together and I won't charge you anything and I will leave. If he had given me a written estimate like I asked for this would not have happened. I learned a hard lesson that day. Always get a written estimate upfront before you hire anyone. I should not have agreed for him to bring the estimate the next day. We had had so much rain lately that I could not wait on another repair man to come and fix this problem due to leakage in my living room. Chris said he thought that all the leakage was probably coming from this top portion of the chimney. I told him to go ahead and do the top portion of the chimney his way. I did not want any more leakage coming in to my living room. He said he would do that for a minimum of $240. I told him to go ahead and do that. He said he would not be responsible for any leakage at the lower portion of the chimney if he only does this part. I agreed. He finished the job in three or four hours. I looked the job over and noticed that he did very shoddy work. At this point I just wanted him out of here. I told him that it looked fine. About one month later I had someone else reflash the whole chimney properly.

Description of Work: This friendly man came to our home the same week I called him and gave us a great, seemingly honest quote. We were happy to get started as soon as possible. He said he would call us when he was available, and we never heard fro him again.

Description of Work: Replaced rotted wood, felt and shingles in leaking roof valley.

Description of Work: Chris owen replaced 2-3 shingles that had blown off recently and provided information on the rest of the roof. Description of Work: Chris Owen inspected the roof of our home to determine if we needed a new roof. He came out the same day I called even though we live in Warrensburg, and this is a Kansas City company. Chris said they worked with insurance companies but we did not need a roof. He said we needed to replace a few shingles, replace boots on two vent pipes, and re-seal three ski lights. Chris did the repairs the same day. I was exceptionally pleased with his courtesy, professionalism, and responsiveness. I will recommend his services to others. I now know who to call when/if I need further roof repairs or replacement. Description of Work: Chris came out to our townhome this morning to help us determine where we were having leak issues with our stucco and winter ice issues. We have had the same ice melt leak for many winters and now we have water leaking behind our stucco. Our HOA's roofer, ARG, has been out several times, making excuses as to why it isn't the roof's problem. Chris took his time to inspect the roof and climbed to the top and discovered a large gap in the valley connecting the two townhomes. We asked him to take pictures, he explained how the water was getting in and a solution to fix. Now we have to get approval from our HOA to have Chris do the repairs or have ARG following his advice. It is our nightmare. I would hire Chris in a heartbeat if I could.

Description of Work: Re-fastened a corner of our gutter, after a severe wind storm. Responded quickly (lived near-by) and did not charge. Talked about another job with him, but went no further after the owner's wife suffered a serious fall. I did not bother him thereafter.

Description of Work: I left 5 messages and emailed them twice and still haven't heard a peep out of them. Very poor customer service in my opinion. If you are busy at least let me know that you are busy, don't just ignore me while my roof keeps on leaking.

Description of Work: Chris came right over after I called him because our roof was leaking over the kitchen. He temporarily fixed the place and then came back another day to finish.
