Nick was incredibly prompt and got down to business once he arrived. The plumbing issues ended up being simple to fix and he was able to complete them in no time.

Nick either answered the phone himself or called back quickly if I left a message. He was actually ready to come by before I was ready for him! He phoned the morning of the appointment to let me know he was on his way, and he arrived promptly. He quickly diagnosed the problem of calcium build-up in the jet preventing a good flush and just as quickly fixed the problem. All my questions were answered, and he was very personable. I'd definitely recommend him.

Nick actually was at our house three times on this issue. The first time he stopped by at end of his work day simply to assess the problem. At that time he cleared the screen in the nearby sink and determined the water pressure to the sink was adequate so the problem was somewhere in the shower/tub plumbing itself. He said he'd return Monday to address the problem. On Monday he took apart the shower control and found the valve clogged with "old pipe" sludge and in need of replacement. I wanted the replacement to match other existing trim in the bathroom, so I offered to procure the valve and would contact him when I had part in hand. I found the exact replacement at a local distributor and texted Nick that I had the part and to schedule the repair as soon as he could. He promised to come two days later. On that day he called and said he'd be a bit late because a regular customer had a plumbing emergency. [Aside: Nick gets extra points for this. Who wouldn't want a plumber who responds promptly to an emergency and lets you know he will be running a little late?] As a result, he arrived only about two hours later than he initially hoped. The work (including the hole he had to make in the bedroom wall) was exactly as he'd described to us earlier in the week. Because this valve control had originally been installed during bathroom remodeling three years ago when the bathroom was stripped to the studs, it was not accessible through the bedroom access panel that was much lower on the wall. This, Nick said, required him to "be creative" in how he installed the new valve. When the work was done, he made sure the pressure and temperature controls functioned as desired (you'd think this would be standard operating procedure, but an experience with another service provider had proved to us this is not necessarily so). He did caution us that the state of the plumbing lines in our older house would be an issue of concern in the future. We will have Nick provide us with an estimate to take care of this on a larger scale later in the summer. Meanwhile, the shower is working as it should, and we are very pleased with the outcome. We would recommend Nick without hesitation for whatever plumbing challenge your house is experiencing (and especially if it is an older house).

Floor drain in basement was backing up when washing machine was emptying. Called Nick on a Tuesday to make appointment for the following Friday morning. Nick was on time and ready to roll! 35 feet of snake later, the drain was clear and all was good! Nick's a great guy and I wouldn't hesitate to call him again for any of our plumbing needs. He's also a long suffering Royals fan, so that's a plus in my book as well!

We just moved into our new house and had a few issues. He fixed a leaky toilet in our spare bathroom. Also our air conditioner wasn't working so he ordered a new part and within a couple days it was working great!

Nick did a great job in a reasonable amount of time. He wasn't the cheapest plumber I could find, but the quality was superb. I had him in for multiple jobs to update the plumbing in my old house when I first purchased it, and I'd call him again if I ever need a plumber. I recommend without reservation.

They came in and asked the problem. Then looked to see what brand my faucet was. He went back to his truck with a single part and a couple of tools. He got right to work and was done in 15 minutes. He told me everything he was doing so I could replace the part myself next time. Nothing makes me happier than when repair men educate me about the product and how to repair it myself.

Overall the job went well. Nick showed up on time ,was very professional , worked well around and with others. He got the job done. Actually he was fun .

Nick did a great job in fixing a problem that another plumber could not fix. He found an inexpensive solution to the problem and left the work area very clean when he was done. I'd definitely use him again for any plumbing needs, large or small.

I felt he was honest and he did a wonderful job and did it in a timely manner. He also cleaned up after himself and he did a few extra small job when he was here that he did not charge extra for. I will use him again in the future for my plumbing needs.

When a tenant calls me with a maintenance issue, I like knowing that the problem is being taken care. Calling Nick Triano when my tenant called me gave me that confidence. He contacted my tenant right away, fixed the problem, fixed some other minor issues while he was there, and kept me informed. the tenant was happy, and the problem was addressed.

They are very good. He has been my plumber routinely for about 10 years. He is very responsive when I call. He will tell me when he thinks he can make it and he will be here. He is usually not here for much more than an hour and has it all done. He asks me if there is anything else that he can look at if he gets to finish a lot sooner. He is just good. I live in an older home and he is experienced in the issues around older homes. Sometimes it is different than new plumbing. I think that they price is good and he is not out of line of other plumbers that I have used before.

My wife and I have used Nick Triano many times for our home and rental property. He's always fair, honest and responsive. Nick has never tried to "up-sell" us to something we don't need, which shows me that he's interested in building trust and long-term client relationships. * * * * *

Excellent. The new bathtub and shower are wonderful and the new vanity with 2 sinks is perfect.

Noticed water running down our basement wall on a Sunday afternoon. Nick had done some work for us in the past, and he was the first person I called on Monday morning. He stopped by that afternoon and quickly pointed out that the rust on the exposed stack in the basement, was probably an indication that the old iron stack (50+ years) was simply rotting away. We discussed options as well as best and worst case scenario. Nick was clear to point out that there was no way to know for sure, until he opened up a bathroom wall. So, we set a time for Tuesday. Nick arrived when he said he would. I hated to do it to him, but I asked him to open up the wall in our smaller master bath, instead of the larger guest bath. He was ok with that and understood why I wanted to go that route (remodel on the way in the summer). After about 5 minutes he had the wall open and worst case scenario was confirmed. The dirty arm was completely disconnected from the T in the stack and was beyond repair. Replacement was the only option. Considering he needed to remove and replace the stack from the basement floor all the way to attic vent, I was pretty pleased with the estimate. While staying out of the way, I did pepper Nick w/ the occasional plumbing question. He took the time to answer all of them and showed me how the snap cutter worked (quite cool!). Since he had to replace all the pipes that went into the stack, he had to pull both toilets. Knowing that I was battling the flu, he made sure to ask if I was ok, before removing them! When it was all said and done, the new stack was in place and all the assorted waste/drain lines going in to it had been replaced. Not exactly a sexy project, but it was money well spent!
