Mr. Kitchen

We completely trusted Chad Stock from the very first meting, and that trust and confidence proved to be well-founded throughout the whole experience. While we have often heard that kitchen remodels are a "nightmare," this was a pleasure in all respects. Chad's "regular" team is composed of him, Bill and Cody, and the three of them are absolutely wonderful to have around, and both professional and warm at the same time. Along with Chad, Bill, and Cody, we worked with Curtis (plumbing), Tony (tile), Charles at SCI Countertops, and Matt and Shane (electricians). Each and every one of them are true professionals, craftsman, and artists. Our kitchen is beautiful, with warm toffee stained cherry cabinets (well worth the reasonable upgrade for cherry) and a tinted lacquered built-in buffet. Chad was generous and patient with provision of samples of cabinet stains and colors and styles - although I had assured him I knew "exactly what I wanted," he spent a lot of time discovering that that wasn't really the case, and worked very hard to arrive at the exact colors and styles we wanted. His completely extendable drawers are terrific - we have 1/4 more space per drawer because it's fully usable. The 2 heavy-duty pot and pan drawers enable me to take my toaster oven and electric can opener off the counter when not in use. The spice rack/ cutting board drawer right next to the stove couldn't be more handy. The cabinets are gorgeous, with soft close attachments and wrap-around corners. The team cleaned my kitchen as thoroughly as possible every evening. They arrived when they said they would unless I got a text indicating that they'd be a little later than expected - an unusual occurrence. Chad is incredibly responsive - he communicated with me by text when I had questions or after-hours ideas. Renovation Pros takes pride in their work, and their goal is to make the customer happy. My husband and I are absolutely delighted. And the punchline was that the total price of the work was under-budget, despite the fact that I got extras I hadn't planned on (like all new drawers, cherry hardwood, and pull-outs where I wanted them.) I don't hesitate to recommend Chad and his team in every respect.

They were professional, cleaned up after work completed and the work was done to my satisfaction. I called them to check on a spot that I was unsatisfied with and they came out the very next day to fix it.

The installation was very smooth. The guys working on the job was very professional and friendly, taking their time to get every detail correct the first time, asking my opinion on how I wanted things. They were very proficient in their clean-up. The transformation of my kitchen is just great.

Chad and his crew were very professional, courteous, and attentive. It was a large job and our home is older so we hit a couple surprises and bumps along the way, but there was always a solution without too much sacrifice. Chad was adamant about ensuring that we were happy with the results. The cabinet craftsmanship and stain color turned out very nice and we are happy with our modern, updated kitchen. The job did take a bit longer than the proposed 7-10 days.

The process was great and very streamlined! And - all of the mess was cleaned up every night so we could use the kitchen even while it was getting its makeover! Chad, the owner, walked us through every step of the process-offering great suggestions and assistance! The cabinet exteriors were exactly what I was wanting-and looked even better than we ever imagined! And now, they are so much more functional, convenient and BEAUTIFUL!!! And the best part of it was that the installation crew was Chad and two other guys-and they were all absolutely wonderful to have around, as well as being professional and polite! I would recommend Renovation Pros to anyone who is considering a cabinet makeover of any kind! I will definitely be having them back whenever I start my next project! And as soon as the rest of our updates are done in the kitchen-we'll be posting the "after" pictures!

Provided guidance and patiently reviewed all options available. Listened and designed cabinets that met our wish list and worked within our budget. We had a strict install window available around the holidays and Chad worked to accommodate our schedule. Chad , along with his install team were extremely professional and we easy to have in the house. Never a second thought about turning the house. over to him to come and do as necessary. This is actually the third project we have used Renovation Pros and just like the first two, we were very pleased with the results. If we ever need other similar work done, he will be the first and last one we call. When this is a time when tensions could be challenged, it was quite enjoyable to have Chad and his team around. As for the final completion, the cabinets are beautiful with attention to the even the smallest details.

Overall we are very pleased with the work Chad and his company did on our kitchen. They removed the old doors, resurfaced the cabinets, replaced some cabinets with drawers and redid our pantry by adding sliding shelving. It was great working with Chad and his company from the beginning. He was prompt on the appointment for the quote and showed several choices for us to choose for cabinet door types and stain colors. He brought us a sample of our stain choice at the beginning and it was not exactly what we wanted and asked if it could be made a couple shades darker and he said that would not be a problem. A couple of days later we had a new sample and it was exactly what we wanted. We were able to keep the sample and use it to make our other choices for flooring and granite countertops. Once the work started it went very well. They did a great job every night in cleaning up which allowed us to use the kitchen. When they were finished with the job they left us the floor molding because our flooring was not completed yet. This worked out well as I was able to finish the job without having to try to match the stain. We would recommend Renovation Pros to anyone interested in refacing their cabinets.

Overall we are very pleased with our cabinet refacing and backsplash project. The price was very reasonable and Chad was willing to do whatever it took to make us happy. The only complaint we have with the project was that it took much longer than originally scheduled. The original bid was for 4-5 days, the actual project took about 12 visits over 6 weeks.

After living in our house for 59 years we finally decided to modernize our small kitchen by enlarging the storage space and fitting the room with some of the newer conveniences. We researched Angie’s list as we had done several times in the past with excellent results, and chose Renovation Pros as a firm who appeared to be well-equipped to handle our small project. We contacted Chad Stock in early April and he gave us a thorough overview of the services he could provide. He explained that all aspects of the project would be subject to our approval--design, construction, layout, color, etc. with the ability to change our minds on any undone portion of the work. Chad then interviewed us at length to find out what we thought we wanted and made several suggestions in order to acquaint us with embellishments and conveniences we might want to consider. He then left us with a preliminary proposal which gave us a ballpark figure for our consideration. On April 15 he brought us a proposal which laid out in detail every phase of the work; the description and cost of such choices as custom-built versus ready-made cabinets; the cost of a new countertop and sink; the costs of some of the extras we had considered; a number of additional options and their costs; certain reasonable terms and conditions; and a precise list of the responsibilities of both his company and ourselves. We elected to go with his company’s custom built cabinets in order to take full advantage of the available space in our kitchen, but then we were almost overwhelmed with the task of choosing from the large assortments of styles, woods and stain colors he featured. Then, carrying a finished sample of our choice, it was up to us to shop for countertop, sink and backsplash tiles and Chad gave us the names of several suppliers with whom he had dealt. Another member of Chad’s firm, Bill Collier, came to measure our kitchen and the appliances we had planned to retain. He questioned us closely about the planned position for the refrigerator, dishwasher, range and sink--all of which helped us to firm up our decisions and actually visualize the final layout. Later he sent us a set of computer-aided designs, both in detail and in color as the layout would look after completion. We spent a couple of days going over the plans and replied with about twenty changes, comments and questions. He responded with new drawings which we approved. Next it was up to us to empty everything from the kitchen and try to remember where we put everything in case we needed something. The operation began on May 27, the day after Memorial Day. We were amazed and gratified at how smoothly the project went with no apparent attempt to hurry. Subcontractors for such items as tiling and electrical showed up exactly when scheduled. The crew worked Saturday to make up for the Monday holiday, and Chad came by on Sunday to give the project his final inspection and to tweak a couple of items that did not meet with his entire satisfaction. The hardest part of the whole project was left up to us to handle--figuring out where to put all the stuff we had taken out of the old kitchen. In retrospect, planning played the most important role in the project. That, along with our complete participation, being kept up-to-date on the progress, the scheduling of the various elements and nearly flawless performance by Chad and his gang made this the most satisfying experience we have had in years.

It was a pleasure to work with Chad and his staff from beginning to end. They were all very helpful through the entire process. Bill did the cad drawings with input from us on the type of layout we were looking for. He was excellent to work with through this part and provided several drafts until we were all in agreement with the final plan. The cad drawings were very valuable in this process and provided very detailed images of exactly what would be built. Once the final design was ready, Chad worked with our schedules to develop a work plan which included coordinating with a wood floor refinisher. Chad and Bill maintained excellent communication through this entire process and kept us well informed concerning when they would arrive each day and any schedule changes that occured. The cabinets and finish turned out exactly as planned. We had new appliances installed and again Chad worked out the scheduling for each step to make each step flow smoothly. We were very satisfied with Matt the electrician who did all of the electrical work and worked out all technical issues to provide all hidden outlets and switches for the backsplash and Island. Custom touches like a power charging station in one small Island cabinet provided nice functional extra touches. Undercabinet and hutch lighting was all LED lighting with dimmers that provide excellent light for all occasions. Chad did an excellent job of staying within budget, providing excellent customer service, and really caring about doing the best job possible! We would highly recommend them for any kitchen remodeling project and would not hesitate to ask him first for any future cabinet projects we may have. Our kitchen looks like it came right out of a high end magazine now and it not only looks good, but works even better.

We were impressed with the work ethic of the crew and the way they completed the work with minimum disruption to our daily routine. Our dog Lizzy didn't even mind our visitors. We would recommend Renovation Pros to anyone who plans to update a kitchen or bath.

I contacted Renovation Pros on a Sunday. I was expecting to receive a response on Monday or Tuesday but Chad Stock called me back within a few hours. We scheduled a date in the next week for him to come over. Chad arrived at scheduled time for appointment. He listened to everything I was thinking which included some major changes to layout and provided an estimate on the spot. The estimate was broken down to provide options. He encouraged me to get other estimates and said if I chose to do part of the work with someone else he would happily work with them. Bill completed a CAD diagram of how my kitchen would look and it was very useful to be able to review and make additional changes that improved the design. Bill was helpful in pointing out things that would make the kitchen would look even better. I think the CAD diagrams were extremely helpful towards helping me make the decision and in being confident that what I asked for is what I would get. Chad, Bill, and Nate came on scheduled date (which I moved up about a week) and completely gutted my kitchen within a day. Chad original estimate of about 2 weeks of work included the painting and floor refinishing which I had other people do. I was shocked when they were able to finish the work by the end of the week. Chad, Bill, and Nate are very professional and very easy to work with. The work done was outstanding and I love my new kitchen.

We are impressed with the looks and quality of the new cabinet refacing, countertop, and natural stone backsplash. The easy glide of the pull out drawers is wonderful and adds to the storage space. We also had an all new cabinet installed. Great decision to have that done! Chad Stock and all of his men that worked with him were friendly and helpful. Chad Stock, Renovation Pros owner, is not a salesman. When he arrived to view our kitchen he was not pushy. He listened carefully to the ideas that we had in mind to renovate our kitchen and drew a quick sketch. Chad allowed us a creative process to refinishing our kitchen. We could choose our own style, customize our color, and we could present him with cabinet pulls of our choice. He did not insult our intelligence and explained all the details. For example, he explained that the new drawer boxes he made for us would be dovetailed and he showed examples. He explained the quality of hardware he would use and the process in which he created each cabinet door. We finally decided on a maple door with a coffee finish. He then itemized each option for us and presented us with a proposal. When we hired Renovation Pros, Chad arrived on time in a clean trailer and laid out his tools in our garage with precision. He prepped the area well. Renovation is always stressful for us, but he took care to protect our flooring and respect our home. He communicated every step of the process with us and he wanted to make sure that he met our expectations We are happy with our choice of contractors. We feel that are cabinet doors are beautiful and our kitchen has become ownartwork. We know from our experiences that renovation can be more difficult than new construction. Chad's craftsmanship was amazing and we love our beautiful kitchen!

When Chad came out to give me a bid, I liked him and felt at ease with him. After talking about what I wanted he put the finishing touches on what I needed. His crew did an excellent job and every evening before they left they made sure that the kitchn was cleaned and swept. My kitchen was really outdated with older cabinets, no backsplash and the counters being in the kitchen for over 30 years. .When the noise of sawing or driling started I had no problem with leaving the house. I just knew that everything would be okay and if they needed me all they had to do was call. To Chad and his crew, I want to thank you very much for the new kitchen, it looks bigger and much brighter. I would recommend Chad and his crew to anyone that needs to have their kitchen/bathroom remodeled. Thanks again and I love my new kitchen.

He promised us he would be in and out in a week once they started. As he was dependent on the cabinet manufacturer, we had to wait until they delivered. Once the material arrived, he was there to check off the delivery to make sure everything ordered had arrived. There were a couple of minor pieces not there but nothing to stop the project. We had picked out our counter tops at his vendor and had picked out and paid for our tile he was to install as part of the bid. The supplier had sent material not ordered which he took care of. There was a partial refacing project on some existing cabinets but the manufacturer sent the doors unstained. Chad decided to stain the doors himself rather then sending them back and they matched perfectly. The job turned out just as we hoped There projects always have glitches but Chad was in and out in the one week he promised. He even emailed updates while on his honeymoon in Europe. They rarely had to stay late and only worked one weekend day. They cleaned up completely at the end of each day. He recycled the existing cabinets to Habitat for a tax credit. Chad and his young helper were personable and had a great sense of humor and were fun to work with. His easy going manner hides a very real perfectionist side to his personality. He is not inexpensive but he is competitive in price and I believe well worth it given the level of service and performance.

Chad Stock of Renovation Pros was the third company that I interviewed for the job and I knew before we even got to the money part that he would be the one to do the job. The difference was that he was the one that would be making the cabinet doors, not a factory in another state. His flexibility and creativity allowed me to use elements from different doors to create a totally new door unique to my home. I hosted a Bunco party shortly after my kitchen was finished and had eleven women "ooohhhing and ahhhing" over the beauty of the cabinets. My daughter and her husband are currently house hunting and asked us to come and look at one. After looking at the kitchen, I told my daughter that the cabinets needed Chad's help and she couldn't agree more. His services will be used again by my family. His superior skill have elevated my cabinets to fine furniture!

Chad arrived bright & early. Measured the entire kitchen and said he'd return on a certain date. He did exactly that. Our kitchen was always cleaned up at the end of each work day and all work equipment put away or covered. Chad's attitude and work ethic is as great as our kitchen and bathrooms now look. We would recommend Renovation Pros to everyone. Nothing was left undone. In fact, Chad has stopped by our home a couple of times since completion just to see if we were still satisfied. I, myself, have been in business over 35 years and built a nationwide company on "customer satisfaction" and honestly I've not run into another business that strives for perfection as I did until I ran into Renovation Pros. One will not regret using Renovation Pros.

His work was really nice. I was really pleased with the service. I did have a problem with shrinkage and white lines on cabinets. I called him back and said it would be about a month to come back and haven’t heard from him since. I was pleased with the work but disappointed with the follow up. I ended up doing the work myself.

If you need work done on your kitchen, STOP LOOKING RIGHT NOW, and hire Chad to come help you!! My husband and I are very impressed with the results of our kitchen remodel. From the moment I first spoke with Chad on the phone, I knew we were in good hands. Chad is very personable and hard-working. Every time he was planning on meeting us, he was either on time or early. He returned calls/texts very promptly. We had never hired a contractor before, so we were unsure of what to expect. Chad met and exceeded all of our expectations, and we are very happy with how our kitchen turned out. I was also very pleased with how quickly the job was done. Upon completion, there were a couple cabinet doors that we were not completely satisfied with, but Chad made sure to remedy the situation and made two new doors that we were completely happy with. We have received so many compliments on our new kitchen. It has been over a month since the remodel, and I still get a big smile on my face every time I go into my kitchen. Cooking dinner is so much more enjoyable now!! I would confidently recommend Chad from Renovation Pros to anyone.

Amazing!!!! We were told by other contractors that in order to redo our kitchen we would have to sacrifice our counters tops (the one and only thing I liked in our kitchen). We decided to call Chad to see what refacing could do for us. From the first meeting to the end of our project he was professional, easy to work with, courteous and takes pride in his work. His crew was the same! Our kitchen is unrecognizable - it went from doors off the cabinets and chipping paint with worn hardware to a BEAUTIFUL, WARM AND INVITING SPACE THAT IS FUNCTIONAL AND MORE USABLE. I would highly recommend Chad for your renovation project - you will not be disappointed.

I don't even know where to begin. Chad and his crew were awesome. So easy to work with, they always cleaned up before they left and I was not hesitant about leaving them in my house while i was gone. Chad created a kitchen anyone would love to have. The last day Chad stayed til 7:30 pm to finish the job. We had been wanting to update our cabinets for several years and when we met Chad at the home show, his experience and knowledge of cabinets made that possible. Chad immediately contacted us and guided us through the process. We decided to renovate the kitchen and four vanities, keeping the house standard throughout. We felt the renovation would add to the value of our home and we could enjoy the upgrades as long as we lived here. Chad's estimate was his final cost with no add-ons or surprises. Chad removed the doors, secured and aligned our cabinet boxes as he prepared to hang the new cabinet doors. The work was finished in a timely manner, starting and finishing each day promptly. All of the on-site work was completed in the garage or outside with very little dust inside the house. Chad had protective moving blankets on counter tops and floors which worked very well to keep the house clean and avoided scratches. We were not able to be home during the day and we felt comfortable leaving Chad and his workman in our home. They were clean, efficient and trustworthy. I would definitely give Chad of Renovation Pros my absolute approval. My kitchen and baths have a dramatic improvement - much more than we expected.
