Description of Work: My 25 yr young a/c decided to take a permanent vacation - we called for 4 bids - 3 bids were apples-to-apples systems - and I have to admit that although Midwest was lowest we decided to go with the supplier that we already had a history with. (but made them reduce their bid to at least come close to midwest's).

Description of Work: The first person I spoke with on the phone was incredibly rude! That right there was enough for us not to want to do business here...But when its 95 degrees out and your air conditioner is on the blink you have to make a decision quickly.

Description of Work: Replaced furnace and AC. One damper (of three) in zoned system was not working the next day. It's not clear whether the damper was faulty on installation or broke overnight but I suspect the former. Replacing with a functional damper drug out over several weeks for various reasons. That was a bit frustrating but otherwise a nice clean one-day install and everything seems functional now.
