Midwest replaced my 23 year old Lennox home HVAC system with a new, top of the line, high efficiency, Lennox system for a reasonable price. I was impressed with the fast, free, custom tailored, detailed estimate, the ability to have the new system installed within just a couple of days, and the speed and quality of the installation team. The estimator (Tom) arrived just two hours after I called, was very personable, very knowledgeable, and helped me select the right components at the right price (with guidance about unit costs, efficiencies, energy savings, rebates and tax credits) to match my criteria. I liked that he had many years of experience, and he went above and beyond to make sure my new system (which replaced a broken system) was installed before an upcoming cold blast. I received two other estimates, and they did not go near as well, with a generic good, better, and best high priced estimate (without input from me) from one company, and another company selling only units from lower quality manufacturers. The installation team started at 8:30 am, and went right to work. They also had many years of experience, and were ready for my walk-thru at 3:00 pm. They did a great job in a short time. Nice! Overall, I can highly recommend Midwest for home HVAC system installations.

They installed a new high efficiency hvac system for the price of a low efficiency system that 2 other companies had quoted at similar prices. R-mech and Andy’s pipe dream both offered quotes for seer 13-14 systems for approximately $7200. Midwest quoted and installed a seer 17 system plus extra duct work and a chimney flue for approximately $7300. They also included an approximately $460 WiFi control thermostat. They were friendly and on time. They were efficient and took extra time to explain everything. It was a huge purchase so I had a lot of questions. They completed all the financing paperwork for me which I appreciated. I’d recommend them to friends and family.

It could have not gone better. Top notch all the way from my initial contact to the quote to the actual installation. The whole job (furnace, A/C and water heater) was done in about 8 hours by two teams of workers. Frankly I wanted to go a bit on the 'better than average' side for the furnace and a/c and everything I wanted they already provided in the system they installed. The water heater was a side addition (needed one anyway) and they were very competitive in price. Overall installation was excellent quality.

Everything about these folks was first class. Great pricing, great quality of materials and installation. They gave us extra ideas to use and extra fix's that earlier contractors did not implement. I will definitely use these folks for annual maintenance and would not hesitate to recommend their company to anyone who needed A/C, Heating, and Plumbing services. Our salesman was James Lambert.

I had used MWH&C several times, including replacing my HVAC system on our old home however when I called and asked them to estimate running a gas line to an outdoor grill, the people that showed up were unprofessional, didn't provide much information and never did deliver a written estimate as promised. The ballpark estimate they gave when they did come was outrageous. I got estimates from others that were significantly less and they were willing to do more of the work. So there are plenty of HVAC and plumbing companies so I won't be back.

It was great I have been using them for years now for my annual tune up

It went well. They completely removed our old system including all duct work, furnace and a/c and installed the new one in 2 days as promised. It looks good and runs great. They had the wrong part for the flue pipe so they installed a substitute and came back the next week and installed the correct material. We had a bit of a snafu when the new breaker they had installed for the a/c turned out to be bad. It did take them a week to get a new one installed, but fortunately our a/c was able to hobble along during that week and the work did get done. Then our compressor needed some adjustment and that was done in a timely manner. Overall, I am pleased with the level of service and responsiveness.

Beware the deal - they do not bother to tell you before buying it will be a month an a half to get done. And since they already have your money, when I called they said if I had an issue with it, take it up with Angie's list.

They were finished quickly and made sure to test the airflow. It was a fast repair. We will use them again to replace the entire unit in the fall.

The water heater was more than 15years old and we had it replaced. Very professional and hauled off old water heater. Shower leak was due to a bad drain seal. Resealed the drain, basement is bone dry.

Their service was excellent, and the their people are very friendly. We've begun using them as our "plumber/HVAC of choice."

Hands down, Midwest Heating and Cooling will be the first one I call for any HVAC-related issues. Our 32-year-old Trane furnace finally gave in and needed to be replaced (repairs would have been 1/3 the cost of a new complete system). This happened on a Thursday right before New Years weekend. It was crucial that we get it fixed immediately as the weekend was loaded with temps below 0. Dave came by within 2 hours of calling and was very informative on what we needed and provided plenty of options. We agreed on a system and he had a crew install the system the next morning (Friday). I can't thank these guys enough!!
