Midwest Heating Cooling & Plumbing

Received bid from Mike Epps that I felt was fair. Confirmed that by getting bid for same furnace through the Costco program. I went with Midwest h & c and glad i did. Everything was done as promised. Mike one of the installers even went beyond what he had to do by rewiring the electronic air cleaner that was not wired right by a previous company.

The plumber (Matt) was very helpful, explained the products well, did not over sell, completed the installation quickly, also cleaned our aerator out, completed the warranty card for us. He was very professional, cleaned up after himself, etc.

So, they did the routine maintenance and it went fine.

Two gentlemen arrived at 9:00 am to begin work. They started work immediately and completed the job in about 5 hours. I was surprised how quickly they finished because I was told it would be an all day project. When installation was complete the technician explained how the theromstate worked and walk me through the programming process. It has been a year now and they have been out twice for my spring and fall checks which is part of the orginal contract. Both times they were prompt and curtious. Not only am I pleased with the unit and service but VERY pleased with the savings on my utility bills. I would and have recommended this company to others.

They are prompt courteous and qualified for the jobs.

I use them all the time. I have a contract with them for so they come regularly to check on my furnace. I never had a problem with them, they know what they are doing, and they come when they are scheduled to come.

The work was done. The technician arrived promptly and did the service quickly. He left me a furnace filter since the one in the furnace was not dirty.

Our contact person was great and very responsive to questions. The installation was done efficiently and the crew was courteous and professional.

Midwest Heating and Cooling had been used by my friend for years and she gave there information when our heat stopped working. The repairman came out right away and let us know the problems and said we needed a new unit. We called the company the same day for an estimator to come by and he arrived that same day. He explained the various types of units and emailed us the estimate the very next morning with three different choices. When we called with our decision the company was able to get a crew out to our home the very next Monday to install the units. The two man crew arrived on time and were very polite and professional. They protected our carpets while the work was being done and they explained what they were doing through out the day. After the install they explained the system to us and all the area was left clean. We even fed them lunch!

The visit went really well. The guy that came out was thorough and explained the work he had done to make sure my furnace was ready for winter. At the end of the visit I told him I was trying to get the light fixed in my crawl space and the guy went back down there to see if it had an old bulb broken off in it or something. That was above and beyond what he had to do! I will definitely use them again.

On September 26th Bob Epps came over to give us a bid on installing a new heating and cooling unit. He answered all of my questions and concerns with installing and was very nice and knowledgable. He said he'd give me a quote within a few days. A week past and I called to see about the quote he said he was sick and apologized and said he would send it no later than Friday (Oct 5). I still have not received the quote on Oct 10th. We received the other bids within days. We are going with someone else. We were really wanting to do something soon as I mentioned in our first meeting. I was disappointed that we still have not received a bid.

CSR offered no solution other than a paid service call. WIll never call this firm again.

The sales rep looked at a couple different options and even made a late change in one of our pieces of equipment. The work was scheduled quickly. It was completed in a clean and efficient manner. We believe we got a good price and good quality work/equipment. All people we dealt with were very professional and knowledgable. We suggest the sales person prices different equipment manufacturers. We ended up going with Amana equipment after pricing another option. Amana was much less expensive, the equipment we purchased was highly regarded on the internet and appears to have the one of the best warranties in the business.

The annual AC check revealed a major Freon leak with the coils and with Freon being phased out I decided to replace the 15 year old heating and cooling system. Ken Duff came out and I told him what problems I had and he came up with several options. Along with explaining each units features he also e-mail all the information we went over. He e-mailed a quote with all options and pricing and gave me his recommendations. Ken offered a 15% discount on the entire job but I wanted the Angie's list member coupon ($350 discount, free 10 year labor warranty, and a whole home humidifier). I would have saved more with the Midwest 15% discount but I wanted the 10 year labor warranty to go with the 10 year parts warranty I would be receiving. The installers (Rich and Justin) did a great job! Very friendly and answered every question I had and showed me exactly what they were going to do before they started. They were done before I knew it.One unit had a 5 year parts warranty but you could get an extended warranty and Midwest took care of that for me. They also did the paperwork for a rebate and I have received it. I also will receive a one year Planned Service Agreement, system check for Fall 2012 and Spring 2013.I am very happy with how everything went, especially today since it was 105 degrees outside! AC is working great!

I called midwest heating cooling on Tuesday morning about 1030am. the lady I spoke to was very pleasant and took all my information and said she would be sending this info to a gentleman and he would be calling me back. He called me a few hours later, we spoke for a few minutes. He said he was book today(tuesday) and asked what time would be good tomorrow(wed). i gave him a time frame that would be best. He stated he would give me a call in the morning (wed). Well it's thursday and I never heard back from him. Considering this is for a/c that is not working very well and its extremely hot out..I don't have time to mess around with companies that don't call back. I called them from their reviews on here. won't give them a second thought again.

Not much to it. Repairman was working on it when I arrived, he was done in 40 minutes.

Bob was really wonderful and really made us feel confident we were getting the best deal for what we were looking for. I would definitely recommend them, for service start to finish.

Ken Duff, sales manager, is the person to work with! Initially planned to replace secondary furnace and AC last summer but didn't. Called him this spring and he remembered everything about the original conversation and units. Wow that is amazing and he was able to give us the same bid as last summer. The crew was efficient, hard working and completed the work in under 4 hours.Ken's follow up to the install was superior. They keep their word and care about their reputation. Plan to call them on any future needs and have already recommended them to others.

.They are very good and I would recommend them. They are very prompt and professional. They are also very honest. It was a good service. They are also coming to do seasonal maitenance thing on our heating and cooling unites.

We called these guys. It took them less than an hours. I'm having them back to give me an estimate on my air and heating.

They were fine. I don't have anything negative to say about them.

Met and exceeded my expectations. Started with Mike the sales guy who was a straight shooter, no fluff, no bull guy. Quoted me a price and beat other competitors buy a mile! On installation day, Mike and Kevin showed up on time, they were professional and friendly. They knew what they were doing and got the job done in no time and no mess. They also helped me with an additional small task for free while the competitor wanted to charge me $75 for it!! For the price that I was quoted, I was not sure what to expect since it was hundreds of dollars less than their closest competitor. But I trusted the reviews on AL and I am glad that I went with MIDWEST. Saved a lot of money and got the job done right!

I always use them as they have been excellent. They are very reasonable and top notch professionals. I would use them again in the future.

They are excellent. I have not used their plumbers yet, but I will use them soon because they are an excellent company. Everything they do is top-notch. They have been in business for many decades now. They are very honest and very reputable. They are very willing to go the extra mile. For example, a few years after I had gotten one of my furnaces, something went wrong with it. I did not know if there were any warranties on anything. They told me that there was warranty on a panel. I did not even ask them about the warranty, but they ended up talking to the company and getting me a new furnace; that is the sort of people they are. They are the best. They are extremely honest. My mother needed a new furnace and I did not want anyone else to come in to the house. I told her to use this company. She always got three bids and would go with the middle bid. This company gave her the highest bid, but I told her that I would pay the difference. I asked her to use them anyway. They were not that much higher and she did use them; I was happy that she did. Their pricing is not the issue; the quality of work is what matters. The quality of their work is excellent. I always get more for my money and not less. I will definitely use them again in the future.

We were very impressed. Bob the consultant, was very helpful in making our decision on the unit to purchase. Craig and Lonnie installed the unit and were very effecient and informative.We are very pleased with Midwest Heating and Cooling.
