The installation went great. They arrived on time, were very courteous, and did an outstanding job. They made sure to get the air conditioning up and running as soon as possible as we have pets that could not take the heat later in the day. They were also very friendly both to us and our dogs. One of the installers even shared some dog treats with our dogs during the day. They made sure to clean up the area and tested everything thoroughly before leaving. The next day, their office filed all of the paperwork for registering the equipment and to get a $1,000 rebate from the manufacturer. Prior to the installation, I had other bids and Midwest was the best price as well. The salesperson was professional and promptly provided us an estimate. I would recommend them to anyone needing to replace their heating and cooling systems. Thank you.

The night before my wife was scheduled to be released from the hospital after being treated for double pneumonia, I came home to a sweltering house because my old a/c unit had given up the ghost. I put in a call to Midwest Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing, the company who had installed the old unit when our house was first built 23 years ago and had maintained it every year since. The next day Tom DeDecker called me and we later met and agreed upon a proper replacement. Because of my wife's precarious condition, Tom took it upon himself to work with another customer who was willing to reschedule their replacement for my wife's welfare. My wife and I will be eternally grateful for but Tom's and the other customer's blessed actions. When the replacement team of two young men arrived (I'm sorry but I did not get their names), they quickly removed the old unit and installed the new one that took much more effort than I expected! After they had completed their work, the team leader took me around and showed me all the things they had done and explained all the differences between my old unit and the new one. I was very impressed with their professionalism and the quality of their work. Overall, it was an exceptional effort that came about as the office staff, Tom, and the installation team turned a potential disaster into a miracle!

Came promptly. Checked air conditioner and furnace and put in new furnace filter. Recommended new furnace but no pressure to buy.

Quoted 3 different companies for Replacement of 17 yr old A/C & Heat pump. Midwest didn't try to oversell a system larger than what is required for my townhome. They showed up 15 minutes early on Friday and were done earlier than I expected. They took the effort to keep the house clean and were professional.

We got a new heating and cooling system from them. They were very personable. They were comparably priced to other places. They showed up when they said they would.

The air conditioner had a leak and lost the coolant causing warm air to blow when the air conditioner was turned on. After more coolant was added the air flow was cooler. The air conditioning unit has to be replaced, which will be in the next few months.

Midwest did a great job. They were our first quote and they were ultimately the lowest cost. Thanks to a coupon special on Angies list for Midwest, we saved an additional $500. We selected them and they were able to help us with financing, and they showed up one week later, which was earlier than we were expecting in June. All in all, we are very happy and very cold now with our new efficient AC unit.

When our Air Conditioning unit bit the dust, we contacted a few different companies for price quotes. Midwest H&C came in as one of the lowest, plus my husband was really pleased with the knowledge of the person they sent to initially look at our unit and give us estimates. It did take a few weeks to get on their schedule only because it was the beginning of summer and they had a full plate. The unit that we chose was out of stock, and the installation team (again - very nice and knowledgeable) came out and installed an upgraded unit at no additional cost. Now THAT is customer service right there! So far, the unit is running splendidly! And yes, I would recommend this company.

They were great and I have no complaints. They handled all my questions in a professional and informative manner.

The representative, Tom DeDecker, arrived on time and professionally presented himself and his company. He actively listened to our questions and understood our goals and objectives for the project. He provided 2 quotations before leaving, which included more information in each bid than anyone else. We invited a total of five vendors to bid. Tom was conversant with each of the utility and manufacturer rebates and promotions and included those data in each bid. We subsequently asked for another site visit to answer final questions about installation, with which he complied. He worked with us by email and telephone on the morning of the last day of the manufacturer's rebates to assure a timely and accurate contract engagement. We have selected Midwest to replace our equipment. All appointments for pre-installation testing (A/C unit) and installation were immediately scheduled. We will post a review the installation process and initial operation upon completion.

They were prompt, they showed up when other companies wouldn't in the middle of the heat you know so we have last year was over a hundred degrees and our air conditioning went out and they came out the next day. They are professional and knowledgeable. They didn't program our thermostat correctly and the system didn't operate properly for several months until we figured out what's going on, we called them out and they came out and fixed it. They came out and fixed it promptly and they were very nice and energetic and they had so many jobs backed up and they were in a huge hurry.

I paid $108 for the furnace. The guy who came out, his service call was $100. I think that was a little high. All he had to do was put a line. I will tell people to go ahead with him because he showed me exactly what caused it and how I could do it myself. I didn't have to have somebody come out and do it for me. The price is a little bit high.

Very quick and efficient service, the technician was there less than an hour and provided all of the cleaning and checking services that we requested. Our only complaint would be that we had to schedule the HVAC cleaning a little over 3 weeks in advance, otherwise the price was excellent and the service was performed quickly and effectively.

Our service tech Tim was very polite and professional. He checked everything over thoroughly, fixed our problem and gave us good advice regarding our current system (aging but still in good running condition - difficult to get parts for now) and talked to us about what type of system we may wish to purchase in the future to replace ours once it fails. We greatly appreciated the additional insight and information. We had been disappointed in previous service from another companry and decided to call Midwest after seeing the othe reviews on Angie's list. We are certainly glad we did. What a refreshing overall experience. Tim is an exemplary representative of this company and we will use their services again!

My experience with them was fine. It was good. They were prompt and professional. They charged me a lot for their services. I would probably use them again in the future.

Started with the Initial estimate after a thorough inspection of my 28yr old system. They quoted me a price, laid everything out in the open and I couldn't believe the Lennox system they would install for just over $4,000. The price also included an anniversary discount and an Angie's List discount for a total of $1200 so we actually received a system worth over $5,000. The installers arrived on a day when rain poured down for most of it but they didn't hesitate when the air conditioner was ready for install. They laid a tarp from the entrance to the furnace room, wore booties while Inside, and were careful when moving through the house carrying the old system out. After completing the entire Install they walked me through everything they had done and answered all of my questions. I couldn't believe the Professional work they accomplished with little to no disturbance of my work (I work from home on different days) We now have a 15SEER rated system, a beautiful system with everything In it's place and a lot more room in the Basement. Thank You Midwest Heating and Cooling. We look forward to using your services on our next Project (plumbing the basement).

The workers were extremely professional, competent, punctual, and pleasant. They kept the area clean and were good with the pets. They put in a new energy efficient Trane furnace and air conditioner with air purifer and humidifer. Had to to through the old rock founcation to do some of the work. We could not believe how efficient and clean they were. However, the salesman was not as professional as we would have liked. Problem became when the invoice was higher than the bid by quite a bit. Mathmatical errors had been made on the bid by the salesman, but we did not catch it. It took awhile to reconcile it and we met with the owners and offered to split the difference of the overcharge [despite our lawyer saying we did not legally have to do that]. We did it beause the crew and workmanship was great and they worked in the coldes, snowiest days of the winter. They were done in two days. Note: date of work is approximate.

I was pretty impressed overall with the service and I had no complaints. They were on time, cordial and friendly. Their price was fair. I certainly would use them again.

I was a little disappointed because Midwest Heating Cooling & Plumbing did not change the furnace filter. I think that was a mistake on their part because it should be included in the price of the check so basically I paid more because I didn't get a new filter. If they don't change the furnace filter than what are they coming for but the air conditioning is working. He was punctual, told me what he was going to do, he showed me the part he removed, and the air conditioning is working well now. It's really everything you really want.

overall fine. Very capable. They dont respond to emails via Angies list...have to call them. $99 service call..would have hoped for angie list discount!:) Helpful suggestions, professional. Busy company.
