went very well inspected everything and noticed the blower was going out and notified me and replaced it right there after asking so that i didnt get charged another service fee.

I called them the next day the other company left. I was not happy with it. It was another $100 on top of what I paid. The first guy came out and saw that the furnace had already been partially disassembled. He left and refused to work on it. He said he would not reimburse me for coming out. His supervisor came out after that. He found it very easily, very quickly and very simply. It's a spring that's one-inch long. They charged me $70 or $80 for the spring.

I've had lots of remodeling projects done in the last two years, and this experience with Midwest was hands-down the best. It was a totally no-fuss, superior quality installation, at a great price. The salesperson, Dave, came out on a Thursday afternoon to give me a quote. He said Trane had some excellent pricing going on and I was a little skeptical given Trane's reputation. Much to my surprise, he quoted me $7593 for a Trane 97% efficiency furnace, 17 SEER a/c unit, a whole-house humidifier, programmable thermostat, and an "Air Bear" filter. The $7593 included an $850 KCPL rebate, for which I had to meet certain qualifications (old unit had to be at 8 SEER or less, and new unit had to be 16 or higher). My old unit was rated at a 10 SEER, so an efficiency test was necessary to see if I qualified for the KCPL rebate. A very professional gentlemen came out the following Monday to do the KCPL test. My old unit, although rated at a 10, was actually running at 7.7. Although I was shocked by that, at least I qualified for the rebate. We scheduled the installation for Friday of that week. Two installers arrived that morning, and worked all day until around 5:00 or 5:30, and completed the job. It was apparent they were highly skilled and competent, and I had total confidence in them. Over the weekend, I realized the Trane thermostat they installed was defective. It was getting warm and making the sensor think it was warmer in the house than it really was -- and so the a/c was not shutting off. I called Midwest late Monday, and they didn't give me any hassle at all. They sent someone out Tuesday to replace it. If I had called Monday morning instead of Monday evening, I have no doubt they would have sent someone that day. The new thermostat is working exactly like it's supposed to. I am extremely happy with Midwest: the price, the responsiveness, the quality, the customer service, and the speedy turnaround time. I 100% recommend them, and have already raved about them to a few people!

These people were punctual, polite and professional. I couldn't have asked for better service. I would heartily recommend them to anyone. The tech came in and went to work immediately and didn't stop or slow down until the job was completed. I appreciate the excellent service and will keep them in mind for any further plumbing problems that come up.

When we first moved in to our house we had an energy audit done where it was suggested we install an ERV after we seal up the home and replace windows. This is an item that I found out is not very common in the KC area as it was difficult to find a company able to install and has the proper knowledge to do so. I spoke with Kenny back in 2014 about estimated cost etc, but a few other projects needed to be done first. I called and spoke with Kenny at the end of June 2015 about an estimate to replace 1 of our furnaces(possibly 2) and 1 of our heat pumps, add an ERV and 2 MERV filters to our current duct work. He had requested for me to email him my information and he would contact me about setting up an appointment for the estimate. After weeks of not hearing back from Kenny I called again at the end of July and he came out on the 30th. I again followed up with Kenny August 6th where he requested a CFM amount from our energy auditors. I emailed him it on the 6th and have not heard anything since. I am disappointed that I was not given the opportunity to even consider them for our project. Kenny sounded like he was very knowledgeable but I can't give my business to someone who still has not given a quote after 2 months.

The special was for a flat rate service call of 89 dollars. The technician was prompt and professional but was not able to diagnose a huge leak in my yard. Turned out to be a water main leak from the city line I paid 90.00 for no service at all. Please note that I do not have any problem with the company, just the special that was run.

I needed emergency service for my rental property. The service tech, Jim called my back in 20 minutes and was at the job site within 30 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed and cleaned the unit. Great service at a reasonable price.

Tuned up AC. Of course they found issues with capacitors that only cost about $6 a piece but charged me $150 to change them. I inquired about just DIY since they would be cheaper but since he had already removed them he said if he was to put them back on they probably wouldn't work and I wouldn't have AC until I received the ones I would order for my DIY project. This is exactly why I do not trust most Heating and AC companies. He was were professional and nice and I am sure only doing what the owner/main office tells all the techs. I am also shopping for a new system and I asked for a quote on a new system and instead of them coming out to measure, they called and quoted me over the phone. I told the gentlemen they were out here about two years ago and their price had jumped ~ $2000 and he replied, "yep." This leads me to believe they are raising prices since there are rebates out there, but that is only my opinion.

The initial meeting for estimate and the installation work went very well. The comfort consultant explained the options for the various units and prices very well and he was able to get the work scheduled very quickly. The company was punctual, responsive, and performed as desired. The workmen were courteous and conscientious to make sure no damage to house or minor damage was repaired (minor issue from having to take the large, old furnace up the narrow basement stairs). Work area was cleaned up and all trash hauled away. Overall, a very pleasant experience. And the new units are working marvelously - A/C is so quiet, don't even know when it kicks on.

We initially had them come out for a tune up. We had issues the last couple of weeks so we had them do repairs then we found out we had to buy a new system. The technician was very very good and trustworthy.

Air conditioner stopped working on Saturday night. I called Midwest around 10:00 AM, talked to a live person, and a technician returned my call within 45 minutes. I described the problem and he said he would be at my house within 30 minutes. Technician diagnosed AND FIXED the problem within 30 minutes. I was impressed by the speed and hassle free nature of the service. No one tried to sell me anything else, they just fixed the problem!

Provider removed an extremely old and undersized system, installed a new energy efficient Trane system that was appropriately sized, and a system to help with allergies. Friendly, professional, and fast.

Zach, our sales rep, was friendly and professional. As a former service tech he was able to fully explain the pros and cons of the options. He helped us figure out the right units for our needs and budget. We had quotes from two other companies. The Midwest quote was a savings over the others. We also felt better dealing with a long established company that has a strong service department. The installers were timely, polite, and neat. What more could a homeowner ask for?

Dave was prompt and efficient. Gave me information on the various units available and general estimate of what different units might cost. We did not use the company. deciding instead, to stay with the HVAC company we had used in the past.

It went very well. Steve was very prompt, professional and courteous. We needed a new fan and he found that it was under warranty. Ordered it for us and installed it in a timely manner. Also went above and beyond with his service. He had found some duct work in the basement that was not shut off that we weren't aware of.

I guess that a 20 point systems check on my AC unit is very basic. As far as I know he cleaned the drain tube from the condenser and hosed out my outside unit. I was with him and talking with the provider during the service for 99% of the time and that is what I saw. I did not notice any detailed checking of either unit inside or outside nor did he say anything to me about what may have been checked. The service provider called me over an hour before he was scheduled to be at my house but he had to come back since I was not at the house. He happily returned at the appointment time to do the job. The technician was nice and pleasant while at my job doing to work. He informed me of a few things that I didn't know about my units (how to clean the condenser drain). All in all, I was disappointed in what was done with a general service for my unit. I feel like the effectiveness of my units were not checked (and if they were I was not given any details). I did contact the company to discuss the 20 point inspection and to verify that everything was done. I was assured that a complete inspection was complete and that everything checked out OK. Although there is one or two items on the 20 point inspection that they do not check anymore ... guess it is time to update this list. For a basic service cleaning, it seems to me that I need to print of the inspection points and make sure that they are done. I feel like this job should have taken more than 15 minutes and that I did not have a very thorough inspection. I do not plan on having this service completed in the future since I don't really know how I benefited by having it completed. However, I would consider this company if I had a complete system failure and needed repair or replacement. As I mentioned to them, they should do a better job of informing the consumer of what was checked and that each specific item checked out properly. I just don't know what was checked and what may have been skipped over. As I consumer, I feel that I did not get a "Big Deal".

Everything went great from the bid to the installation. Mike did measurements and a drawing of my old furnace so they knew what to make at their shop before coming to my house. My furnace and AC were from 1989 so it was time to upgrade. What a difference in sound already! I'm hoping the bills will reflect as well.
