I got quotes from several services, and they were all comparable in cost, but not all of the services were going to completely clean up the oak trees. I chose Hofmann's because he recommended doing the complete job. It took less than a week for the job to be completed after I asked him to schedule it. They left no mess at all, and did a good job in letting more light into the yard. I recommend Hofmann's if you need trees to be pruned and cleaned up.

Hofmann's Tree Service came over to my house and gave me an estimate the day after a big summer storm when I couldn't get a couple of other companies to even tell me when they'd be able to come by. Their estimate was very reasonable and I hired them to remove the fallen tree limb as well as go up in a bucket truck to remove 2 other small dead limbs. They performed the work within 2 days of a big summer storm. They were knowledgable, friendly, and did a great job of cleaning up the yard.

Jim's estimate was the middle estimate I received, but I liked his responsiveness and knew several people who had used his services and liked them. His suggestions for what/how to do it made the most sense to me. I would use Jim's services again and have recommended him to other neighbors and friends.

Jim was great! He called me with an estimate and offered to trim two healthy trees in front yard to make mowing easier. Very punctual, polite and clean up was superb. Jim charged $150.00 less than other estimate and did NOT try to sell me anything I didn't need. Highly recommend.

We called for his advice whether to keep or remove the tree. He was able to show us that it indeed was dying. We decided to have it cut down and save pieces for firewood. He neatly stacked the wood where directed and removed the waste. He also removed some branches hanging too close to the house and removed them also. He ground out the Ash tree's stump as we requested.

I had Jim Hoffman come by and give me a free quote. I had some volunteer trees growing along my fence line approx. height 20-25 feet high. He came on the scheduled date and removed all the trees and cut the stumps as close to the ground as possible, per my request. There were 6 small trees that needed to come down and one old stump. All the work was done in about 3 hours and all tree debris was racked and hauled away.

Got out here quickly, responded to my call, and gave me a very fair price. I would use them again.
