They came out right away. He did a great job and I am very happy. The door is extremely quiet now. My daughter goes to work early in the morning and I don't even hear the garage door.

I called Mark and left a msg. Within 30 minutes he called back and I gave him the details. He came by a couple of hours later and replaced the torsion spring. Afterwards we realized another part was stripped due to the broken spring. He left and got the part and returned within 30 minutes. It all works like new now. I'm very happy and would use his services again.

Mark was very responsive and arrived within 2 hours of my initial call. He inspected the door made temporary repair to allow him time to get the new spring the next day. He actually came back the same day, did the repairs AND a tune up of our system. My doors have never functioned as smoothly. He was excellent and professional. Would call him anytime

Came over the day I called and fixed the problem. Inspected and oiled everything. Professional and efficient. Very pleased. Would definitely call again if we have garage door problems in the future.

Mark called me back within an hour then came over 1 hour later to look at the door. Came back the next day and did all of the work in 2 hours. First he replaced the springs and pulleys then added a safety line in the spring. (which I did not have before)Then he replaced the garage door opener and adjusted the door also made sure that the door was working properly. Took all of old parts with him.

Contacted them twice to perform garage door repair and was never contacted back. Specifically went to Angie's List to find someone and am very disappointed that we were not even given a courtesy call back saying not interested.

I didn’t know if I could write a review for this. I called Economy Door Service. I left a message with what my problem was. One remote wasn’t working. The other one only worked sometimes. I called him and he called me back. I just lost my husband and he was the one who always did these things. I told him I thought it was the remote, not the garage door. Suddenly out of nowhere, I asked them if the remote took batteries. He asked if I changed the batteries. I said I didn’t know if they took batteries. He said before I come out, “why don’t you get some batteries”. He helped me on the phone with getting the remote open to replace the battery. I did what he said. I got batteries for both remotes. I used the one that wasn’t working since the other one would work once in a while. It worked. I called him back and really thanked him. I really appreciated that. He didn’t have to tell me that. He could have come here and charged me big bucks but he didn’t do that to me. I thought that was outstanding.

He was great to deal with and very flexible. This was a new purchase house and the closing date changed a few times and he worked with us to get out within 2 days of closing. Did great work and is very nice, will use again if I ever need garage work done.

Called Mike and left him a message to call. He called back within a half hour, and apologized for not answering originally. Since I didn't need him to come urgently, we made an appointment for Saturday morning. Mike was prompt, and speedy with his work. He only charged $54 for everything. What a steal! Thanks, Mike! Will use you again when I need my garage door worked on.

I highly recommend Economy Door!! His quote was 1/2 the cost of what my original installer quoted. Super nice guy, too!

We e-mailed Mark through Angie?s List, as we were trying to get a garage door opener with some tricky placement. After reviewing several A-rated companies close to us, he was the ONLY ONE that communicated back via Angie?s List. Yes, we could have called, but we work odd hours, so this is what we did. He came out on a Wednesday and gave an estimate. He was back out on Saturday to finish the work. Two hours later, after doing a lot of work, he finished. Door works fine. Several contractors said it could not be done. He did it! Price was WAY below what the contractors ?thought? would be the price. Highly recommended!

My son backed into our garage door on a Saturday around 4 pm. I checked on Angie's List and called 4 companies. The owner of Economy Door called me right back and was to be in our area later that evening At 5:30 he was at our house and fixed a bent door track and gave our system a much needed tune-up. I will call Economy Door if I ever need and additional services. Very professional.

i called on a Saturday evening and he called me back the next morning. We set up a time for him to come visit and he was on time. He quickly repaired the broken spring then identified a bad pulley that may have made the problem worse, and replaced that too. He replaced one roller and added another that had been missing. When he was done I was expecting the bill to be somewhere between $2-300 but I was shocked when it was only $99.97- definitely less than I was expecting. I'm definitely going to use Economy Door Service for all my future garage door needs.

The door would only raise two feet and stop. The job was done in about a half hour and now the door works perfectly!

measurements on door were not standard but took only a week to arrive. courteous and professional. when someone cares about the quality of their work, it shows. the price quoted remained the same. would recommend him highly

He was very honest and he gave very good suggestions on things to help the door keep working well in the future. The door has worked well since the time of service. He seemed very knowledgeable, he addressed the issue immediately, and he did not try to sell anything extra. I was confident in his work and he was on time as well.

Mr. Whittemore accommodated my schedule, arrived on time, installed the new door opener without incident, gave me instructions on how to operate my new opener, and was gone in 1 1/2 hrs. I will definitely use Economy Door again and I will refer friends and family to Economy Door.

Mark could have easily told me the garage door opener was faulty and needed to be replaced. Mark took the time to find the problem and said he felt bad for charging me the service fee. When the opener does fail, I will call Mark to do the work.

I had previously had a garage door repairman look at the 2 single garage doors and their openers. The openers are very old and replacement parts are non-existent. The installation of the openers was rather special in that there was very little room. Replacement of the openers was going to be difficult and expensive. The previous repairman indicated that special openers would be required and that new doors would also be required. I called Economy Door Service just to see if he had any other/better ideas. When he arrived, he indicated that he would fix up what was already there. He replaced the broken spring and pulley. He repaired the broken limit switches. He adjusted the track to solve some other problems. He did many other odds and ends that all ended up with a fantastic repair job. At the end, he presented me with a bill that was so low I almost feel as if I took advantage of him. But I guess he is happy and I know I am. I will keep his information for any future needs and highly recommend his services to others.

Mark, the owner of Economy Door Service, did all of the work. He is an excellent person and very good at repairing garage doors. He is an honest person and does what he says. I HIGHLY recommend Mark and Economy Door Service.

we discovered that the spring was broken when we wanted to leave for chruch. finally got door to raise, came home after chruch, started looking for do it yourself how to fix it solutions. decided it was too dangerous without experience. just joined angie's list 3 days ago, so decided to give it a try. saw serveral reviews on this guy so gave him a call. that was at 2pm. he gave me a ball park number over the phone, said he could come yet today so i say fine. he came at 3:30, (only a hour and a half after contact), went right to work, was done a 4pm. bill was exactly what he quoted. i stayed in the garage the whole time, he was very friendly as he worked. was very happy with his work, price and coming on a sunday afternoon. now i can sleep in tomorrow morning when my wife goes to work at 6:15am!

I couldn't have asked for a better provider. He was communicative and extremely knowledgeable. I would never hesitate to recommend his work to anyone. Our house had flooded the night before and we had high anxiety trying to get a solution for that. He offered to be a handyman and give my daughter and I some needed help in the basement. Are you kidding me? Who does that these days! FANTASTIC!!! We will be using him to install new doors this fall!

Scheduled us quickly, showed up promptly, stayed in the dark to finish the job, asked for feedback...both doors needed repairs and the one we thought was in okay shape needed more work than the one about which we initially called. He got both doors working in tip-top shape.
