Description of Work: I had several lighting problems to fix including finding new lampshades, harps and finials. I ended up buying one lampshade for a lamp that one of the sales persons picked out. When I got it home I realized that the shade was too large for the size and style of lamp. Then I waited too long and was not able to return the lampshade since their policy requires returns to be conducted within so many days. The other lampshades and harps that were selected for me worked out well, however.

As I was attempting to change the bulb in a lava-type lamp, the bulb broke off in the socket. I could not get it out and was going to toss it. I decided to take it to Dave Smith's. They cheerfully removed the broken bulb for free.

Friendly, trustworthy and superior quality and knowledge of any lamp and light fixture repairs. Excellent selection of new lamps too.
Description of Work: Rewired an antique lamp that I could not rewire myself. What I thought was a very difficult repair and would take several days to finish they did in 1 day. Turned out to be a much simpler repair than I thought, but they obviously knew what to do.

THE STORE HAS VERY GOOD TECHNICIANS TO FIX MY LAMP AND HAS TONS OF LAMP SHADES. THEY REALLY HELPED ME FIND THE RIGHT SIZE SHADE TO FIT MY LAMP. MY LAMP HAS BEEN WORKING GREAT SINCE THEY REPAIRED IT.
