It went real well. I called them on short notice that very day because I was trying to get a fan put in before we had some out of town company. They were able to come in that very day and got the job done within an hour.

Even though he didn't have a 4-way outlet on his truck, he agreed to install it if I ran out to get one while he was doing the other work.

Excellent. Jason was very attentive to getting everything done. I had prior storm damage that had ripped out the electric line and ripped off half the siding on the back of the house. In order to reconnect, BPU required everything be brought to code, including upgrading connection and amps. Jason and his assistant took care of everything very promptly. We were originally going to do this last Friday, but BPU will not drop the lines when it is raining, forcing us to reschedule for today. Jason and his assistant were very professional, friendly, and took the time to explain everything. I would strongly urge you to use Jason's company, Clayco Electric, for all of your electric needs.

I called Clayco on Monday 1/6 to request service to be completed at my house in Liberty. I called them based on their positive reviews on Angie's List. I spoke with Jason when I called, and requested an appointment for Thursday 1/9. Jason scheduled an appointment for 7:30 am, which worked perfect because it would allow me to go into work late but not miss too much work. Dustin arrived promptly at 7:30. Dustin was very professional. He was prepared to do the job, and completed it in an hour. Very pleased with the work. He made all the connections, and then checked to make sure everything was working properly. He cleaned up after himself, and all the wiring in the basement looked great.

Representatives were punctual, courteous, and efficient. They explained everything they were doing and cleaned up all work areas. The office staff was as efficient, helpful, and courteous as the electricians who did the work. It was a stress-free and positive experience. I would not hesitate to use Clayco again and I would definitely recommend them.

Two weeks earlier my wife?s brother who is an electrician, visiting from Oklahoma, installed a breaker for a new electric stove, replacing the gas stove. He had returned home before we started noticing that the water heater wasn?t heating water any longer. Then one night Mom turned on the TV and it wouldn?t come on. She didn?t say anything about it because when she had tried it later, it worked. This went on for several days before she called me. I investigated, and she told me that her hot water had been slowly getting cooler. I Looked at the breaker, and didn?t see any obvious problems. I shut off the breaker to the stove, and left it off over night. When I returned the next day, I found the water hot, and the TV and house lights working normally. Thinking that the breaker must have been installed incorrectly, I told Mom to leave the stove breaker off and that I would have an electrician look at it. I called CLAYCO on Wed 10/16/13, after locating them using ANGIE'S LIST. I talked to Erica, who answered the phone. She was very polite, professional and helpful. After I described, in brief, my problem, she transferred me to Jason. I explained to Jason the various symptoms that my mother was experiencing, i.e. Electric water heater not heating water, electric stove switch turning lights off and on, Electric dryer not heating up. The stove was essentially completing the circuit for the power to half of the trailer. Jason suggested that the amperage going into the trailer was 50 amps instead of 100, and that there was too much demand for so little power. He said that they would be able to come out Fri the 18th around noon, but would call first. He quoted $125.00 for the first hour and $65.00 for each hour after that. Then he said that because I had used ANGIE?S LIST they offered a 10% discount. I thanked him and told him I would be there to meet him. Friday about 10:00 am, Tom from CLAYCO, called and left me a voice mail, which I missed. So around noon I called the office and talked to Jason, he said that Tom was on his way and would be there in about a half hour. I headed over to Mom?s and was waiting when he arrived. Tom determined that it was only 50 amps coming in, and that the inside breaker had in fact been installed correctly. But that the three appliances, stove, water heater and dryer could not be used at the same time. Since Mom lives there by herself, and is very frugal with her power usage anyway, we agreed that she would just watch how she used her equipment. I paid Tom and he left. But, like many problems when a tech arrives, the stove ?circuit? showed up right after Tom had left. I called Tom and he said he would come right back, and did. When he returned he said that his previous diagnosis had seemed too easy. So, after a more in depth investigation he found that one of the two power breakers outside the trailer was damaged. One of the two cables coming from the outside box was unused and had been connected to a central air unit. The other one went into the trailer. Tom plugged the Trailer cable into the breaker the A/C had been plugged into. He then went in to check out the power inside. After further investigation he determined that the breaker had been the problem, but the second breaker was in good shape. He said that we would have to contact BPU and have them replace the bad breaker before we install central air next year. I asked Tom how much more I owed him and he said nothing. That it was still within the first hour. I want to say I was very impressed with Tom?s attitude, and skill. At all times he was professional, and seemed to know what to do without hesitation, once he had witnessed the actual symptoms after his return. I will not hesitate in using CLAYCO again. Also, once again, thank you ANGIE?s LIST for your invaluable service. NOTE: It has been a week since Tom came by, and Mom's power is working very well.

I called Clayco Electric and made an appointment for Monday 9/23? at 0900am. Late afternoon I get a call from their serviceman. He said that he was running late and that he had info that I was available Thursday. I explained that I made an appointment for Monday at 9am. He replied that he had no record of that appointment. We made another appointment on Weds. He arrived promptly, and was very thorough checking out sprinkler system unit. He had the same unit at his house and was very familiar with how it worked. He validated that there was no electrical damage to the outlet and the receipt reflected the information we needed for our insurance claim.

They were here when they said they would be here, very patient with our questions and concerns, very professional, went the extra mile to achieve what we were trying to achieve. The work required them to open some ceilings and they were very careful about their cuts to make repairs more easy. They had tarps on the floor to catch the mess and cleaned up after themselves. I could go on and on, but overall probably the best experience with a contractor I have ever had. Just excellent.

Jason came out very quickly and gave me a estimate and scheduled a appointment. Couple of days later they came out a replaced 3 GFI outlets, rewired the electrical box that the previous contractor had done. I was very statisfied the work and would hire them again.

I called Clayco Electric Co this morning hoping to inquire about a near-future appointment to check on a faulty exterior outlet. The person that answered advised me that "Jason", the residential technician was actually in the office and transferred me to speak directly to him. I spoke to him and explained my issue and he advised he could actually come out later today if I had time. He gave me an approximate appointment time of 3 pm. Looking back I forgot to ask, nor was I told, the price-per-hour rate. At about 2:50 pm Jason showed up as planned. I explained the problem to him- that my exterior outlet would work off and on. He immediately opened the outlet and explained that somewhere along the circuit there was a short or bad connection, and set about opening every outlet cover and light switch cover he needed to in order to find the problem. He finally found a broken switch that was causing a bad connection and suggested replacing the light switch. It was a double plate and he didn't have another almond switch on his truck so he offered to go get another one if I wanted. I opted for a new white one so he switched both the switches and double checked the connections. As Jason was finishing up, I asked him how much they charged to switch out bathroom light fixtures. He asked if I already had the new one on hand, and that if I did, he would go ahead and switch it out for me real quick. He explained they charge by the hour and it's a one hour minimum and I hadn't used up my time with the outlet problem. It helped to get it all done in one same-day service call. Jason was awesome helping me move the heavy furniture to get to the outlets, and he was nice, friendly and efficient. I would definitely use Clayco Electric Co again. My only reservation is that they were higher priced per hour than the other companies I looked at and a little higher than I expected I would have to pay but it was worth it. That was my fault for not asking beforehand what the rate was.

They were quick, on time and very professional! I will definitely use them again if I need any electrical work done.

Jason arrived exactly on time, saw the scope of the job, gave us an estimate and we set up a date to do the work. That day Rusty showed up exactly on time, and did a very quick, clean, and very good job, apart from being a nice guy. Jason showed up mid morning to see if everything was going ok. After lunch the whole project was done, and to my surprise, was less than what was agreed since they threw in a 10% discount for being a first time Angies's list user. All in all we would definitely contract them again and would recommend to a friend.

My bathroom lights went out over the weekend but then came back on Monday morning. I called a general handy man but he deferred to an electrician. I contacted ClayCo because of their ratings on Angie's List as well as their hours. I scheduled a 7:30am appointment and Jason, the electrician, identified and corrected the problem quickly. I was able to make it to work on time.

It was excellent. I explained what work I wanted done and they gave me a scope of work. They kind of went above that. Overall, I was very satisfied with what they did. My contact person was Jason. He was very prompt on getting me price quote. He was on time to get here for our meeting. He followed up afterwards. He was very responsive to any questions so I am very happy.

This is the second time I have used this company. Both times they arrived on time and prepared. They performed all the work which had been previously bid and cleaned up the job site upon leaving. All employees were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The work done was exactly as described and the price was more than fair. I am very pleased and will use them again.

We hired Clayco to fix an electric outlet problem in both the garage as well as the external outlets. We were able to get them to come to our house the next day and the problem was fixed quickly. The charges were also reasonable

I hired them to come fix the electricity in my house after another company had tried for 6-8 hours. They were able to come in and fix the electricity in about 1.5 hours. They were courteous, professional and prompt. They are everything you want in a company.

We had our light go out in the bedroom. We then noticed that the light in the hallway was blinking as well. Called up Clayco Electric this morning & they said they could come out today. He diagnosed the problems quickly in the bedroom & fixed the problem in the hall. I would definately use them again.

Terrible. I set an appointment fo get an estimate to move a switch from a kitchen island to a wall, and install two new electrical sockets in my garage. I was told an estimator, and an electician who would probably do the work, would be at the appointment. In preparation fo the appointment I moved shelves and equipment in the garage. At the appointed time, and electrician arrived. He did not have the authority to give me an estimate, nor did he have time to do any work. He took some measurements, and after telling me he would give them to the right people, he left. It is over a week later and I have not been contacted. I decided I was not going to beg these people to work for me. I have contacted another company, and will report on them. I am EXTREMELY disappointed as I chose these people based upon recommendations from Angie's List, which I told them upon first contact. Again, I am disappointed. To make an appointment to perform an estimate, then not send someone with the authority to do so is unprofessional, at best. Add in the comment that someone would be there to probably perform the work just made the experience worse.

Electrician was prompt and professional and completed work in a timely manner so I could get back to work. .

I was very impressed that the elecrician, Joe, arrived early. My appointment was between 7:30 and 8:00 and he arrived around 7:15 or earlier which was great. Unfortunately the flashing lights was not happening while Joe was here. That makes it difficult if not impossible to isolate the problem. That did not stop him from trying to identify the issue though. He looked at some of the work I did and checked several switches and outlets. He also looked at my panel to verify it was good and the circuit in question was good also. He did find loose wires in several locations (including the panel) and fixed those loose connections. Hopefully the issue is resolved but if it occurs again he did give me some good advice on how to troubleshoot the issue myself. If I need other service work in the future I will call Clayco Electric.
