Description of Work: Bordner replaced the deteriorated composition shingle roofing on our main church buildings and replaced single ply roofing on three small "flat roof" areas. They also helped us get a $12,000 credit from Owens Corning for replacing the "40 year" shingles that only lasted 21 years. They were very easy to work with - they varied their schedule to accommodate some special events (i.e. weddings and funerals) at the church. I would recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: Tore off my old roof and replaced it with a new roof. Did a great job, I would definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: Replaced back door - leading to my deck. Company was great - they quickly came in and installed a new energy efficient door, replaced rotted wood frame and painted the new door to match my trim work....caulked everything nice and tight. Everything looks great.

Description of Work: Bordner did a really nice job of redoing a section of stucco on our home. They had to tear out the existing stucco as well as the decorative rock at the bottom. They added new trim and stucco to match the rest of the house. They completed the project in two days as they said they would. The cleaned up after themselves well and were easy to work with. This portion of the house is better than the original as it is much more waterproof now.

Description of Work: They installed a new roof on my house. I was out of town and they kept in contact through emails and pictures. They were very professional and did excellent work. Everything went according to their schedule. They also cleaned up after themselves! Only the new roof told you that they had been there.

Description of Work: The service was a roof tune up special offering a$325$ value for $59. The roof is an older wood roof with some of the staples backing out of the ridge shingles. It was my understanding these would be secured in the tune up process. They were not renailed on the initial visit and I called Bordner to discuss. They were very responsive and professional and promptly sent a wood roof specialist to complete the tune up. He renailed as needed and evaluated the condition of the roof. I Gave an quality rating of B because it was necessary to call to complete tune up.

Description of Work: New roof due to storm. I decided to go with Bordner's because of their reputation. I was not disappointed. The whole process went very well. | |I would use them again.

Description of Work: We have used Bordner in the past for another home. We did not seek competitive bids for our current major roofing, trim and stucco replacement project on our 90 year old home, as quality was our highest priority. Simply stated, their work is superior and will exceed anyone's expectations. Their tenured craftsman, such as Larry McCoy for trim and Nelson Apecheo, stucco, and one of their best roofing crews ever, would be very hard to even come close in matching anywhere. We trust them that their work will always be done right or not at all. If there was a higher rating than A, this is one company who would deserve it!

Description of Work: They did a complete tear off and new shingle installation. They were professional, no mess was left, and the work is beautiful I can't say enough great things about this company.

Description of Work: Replaced siding on the north end of our house with Hardy board and bats and caulked to prepare for painter. They were reliable and very professional.

Description of Work: They put the roof on within 3 days and did a fabulous job of keeping us in the loop. We were very concerned about our house plantings around the house.. and they did a good job covering/watching out for them.

Description of Work: Repaired a few problem areas on a wood shake roof. Have used in the past and they always do good work. In this case, we did have a mix up with the original bid. I signed and submitted the bid on the same day I received estimate. It said work would begin in 1-3 weeks. Over a month later I called to check on status. The guy on phone said I would receive a phone call right back after speaking to manager. Two days later, I had to call again and explain the whole story. I was told they had no record of me returning the bid. Long story short, they lost or didn't receive email though I forwarded them the original correspondence a couple different times. Did not offer an apology or any sort of discount. I understand that mistakes happen, but they could have at very least done something to accept responsibility. Also, I was told that trim they replaced on my chimney would be painted white before installation. On day of work, guy said that wasn't part of the deal. He did agree to paint the trim after I provided some paint and a brush. Otherwise, they did great job.

Description of Work: Contacted Bordner about an ice dam issue with my garage roof. The estimator came out at the appointed time, and provided an honest evaluation of the problem, including comments on work I could do myself to keep costs done. The work was done within the time period quoted and the technician was prompt and courteous. The office followed up and asked if everything was done to my satisfaction before billing me. I also received a thank you card for using their services. This is a company which understands the concept of customer service. I will definitely use this company again for any roof related issues.
