My experience with them was not the best. They had to come back again a couple of times as their initial work wasn?t good. There were some exposed nails and they had also not cleaned up properly. Some of the fascia wasn?t put in properly, and they also had to fix some wrinkled roofing, among an assortment of issues.

Overall, I was very impressed with Bordner. Bordner worked well with my insurance company so I did not have to act as a go in between. The quality of work was outstanding and the workers left my lawn and landscaping in better condition than when they arrived. All positives and no negatives with my experience.

It went wonderful. I checked them on Angie's List. They were prompt, thorough, courteous. They cleaned up well. They were on time and did a wonderful job.

We needed our roof replaced because of hail damage. Their adjuster worked with the insurance company to make sure the roof was replaced in a satisfactory manner. They always kept me informed on when they were coming out due to weather conditions. I was also pleasantly surprised that they fixed some chimney flashing that was not part of the estimate. We had used Bordner about 13 years ago on a minor roof repair, and were impressed by the time they took to go into the roof to look at possible leaks and other factors before giving us an estimate. Other companies just eyeballed the roof. Although Bordner appears to be higher in pricing, I do believe that you get what you pay for. They've been in business for a long time, and that's factor to consider when you need roofing.

After our home was damaged by a tornado, I called Bordner for an estimate to repair damaged stucco siding on our home. I was told that, due to workload, estimators had a 4 week backlog.....they would call me in approximately 4 weeks. I was sent a confirming e-mail stating that I would be contacted in 4 weeks for an appointment. Eight weeks later, I had still not received a call. Several other stucco contractors had already estimated the project so I e-mailed Bordner, stating that I was about to award the project and that they needed to bid if they were going to. I received a phone call that an estimator would be out in two days. Since I was at work, the estimator was going to leave a written estimate at my home. When I arrived home, I found a note explaining that the Bordner representative had been there and that my estimate would be mailed to me. It never arrived. Ironically, the restoration company that I hired for some other storm-related repairs also called Bordner to estimate the stucco portion of the job. They never showed up.

The sales rep was very professional and put no pressure on us. The repair crew came out when they said and finished the job. There were some things that I did not like about the way the roof looked and they resolved the issue promptly. After the job had been completed we received heavy rains and the roof leaked in areas all over the house. They came out several times to work on the problem. It took about a year to get all of the leaks fixed. Water damage has caused cracked paneling, stained walls and ceilings that after a year they have not fixed liked they promised. I should also mention that we have a rather complicated roof. After reading this review that was originally posted in October 2008, Bordner sent out a crew to fix any potential problems with the roof and repaired damage caused by the roof leak. When Chris Larson learned that my problem had not been resolved, he sent out an squadron of technicians to quickly resolve the problem. They crawled up into my attic to ensure that everything was still dry and no sign of water seepage and sent out an excellent painter to repair the ceiling damage. Once they were on the problem the staff were extremely conscience and continued to follow up on the progress. They exceeded my expectations to make sure everything was done correctly and that I was satisfied with the work.

After checking with neighbors, manufacturer's website and Angie's List we chose 3 companies to quote our roof replacement. Jason Moody with Bordner Roofing gave the most thorough written quote with pictures from the areas unseen from the ground. We chose them over the other two quotes because of the thoroughness of the quote and that the manufacturer of the shingles would sell a warranty covering the materials and LABOR. They said the job would take 5 days. They started on the date given. The material supplier delivered the materials to our front driveway and the roofing crew showed up soon after. The crew was larger than Bordner first planned to provide because rain was expected near the end of the week. They worked very hard from the time they arrived and they left in the evening. Each day they carefully cleaned the driveway and around the house. They assigned a supervisor for the overall job, gave me his cell number. This supervisor was in charge of several jobs. Also, there was a crew chief that I met and was able to ask questions during the day. I don't recommend going outside too often. It is not safe since there is coming and going, removal of wood shingles and bits of paper, wood, and new shingles constantly being thrown off the roof. They were careful to protect my plants, trees, deck furniture, and windows during the process. They finished on the third day just as the rain was beginning. We've had several hard rains since with no leaks or problems. They added 8 soffit vents that the other quotes didn't mention.

Their workmanship was excellent and they cleaned up after the job was done. The price they charged was very fair. There was just one problem, it took them a long time to get to the job.

They did excellent job on everything. The windows that were to be installed had problems but the contractor took care of it. They cleaned up after them selves.

The salesman was prompt in his response. He emailed me the estimate. He told me it would be 4 weeks. They were out to fix it in 2 weeks. They repairman, Adam, was conscientious. He asked me what color flashing I would prefer. He seemed to work quickly and diligently. I have had no leaks since. The repair was completed about 1 month ago and we have had plenty of rain since then.

They were expensive and it took a while for them to get here. They treated us very well, when they were here they were good to call. They treated us with respect. They did a good job.

He was clean and polite and seemed to be very knowledgeable he never gave us a written proposal.

The thing that was a little annoying was that when you first contact them for an estimate it takes them three to four weeks to get back with you. They do let you know that ahead of time. Once you get them on the job, they do excellent work. They did exceptional work, I really liked them. I would use them again for future service.

My experience was very good when they put it in. However, they discontinued their landscaping division which left me dismayed. If they still had the landscaping division I would recommend them and use them again.

It took about 4 weeks from the signing of the contract until they called to say that the windows were ready to be installed. The installation was scheduled for the following week. The salesman had indicated that the work might all be done in one day. Instead, the 2-man crew spent three days at our house. The crew did great work with the installation. They were courteous, friendly, and efficient. They cleaned thoroughly after each day's work. The initial bid was $11,900. Then we were offered an "end-of-the-month" special price reduction. The contract allowed for the replacement of all window sills and brick molding (in case it was rotten). The crew had to replace only half of the sills and little molding. So the salesman reduced the final price by $850. In the end, we paid $10,100 for the 13 windows. The finished windows look very nice. We will have to do a little painting, both inside and out, to finish the job, but that's no big deal.

I had some of my roof torn off from a storm and I was able to get Bordner out that same day to tarp it (which was very good considering that almost every other house in the area was damaged too). They were able to repair the roof very quickly and did an excellent job. Also, while other "storm chasing" roofing companies were trying to tell me I needed a whole new roof (which my insurance company was not going to cover), Bordner was honest and told me exactly what really needed to be done. Then, just a few weeks after I got the damage replaced from that storm, we had another one come through with large hail. I had Bordner come out and inspect to see if it was worth me contacting my insurance company and again I got a completely honest answer. Bordner is a company I believe you can trust will tell you what really needs to be done and will not try to sell you a whole new roof just because they can. The sales rep I dealt with was Eric Cooper, and based on my experience with him and Bordner as a whole, they have my business for anything that needs to be done to this roof as long as I own the house.

They left a lot of debris and i am still finding pieces of old roof coming down from the gutters. When they were finished, it leaked in a new place where it had not leaked before. They did come out to correct the issue but I still have a stain on my ceiling. They also killed two flowers which they paid for. They did an alright job but they seem to have poor communication overall. I would not use them again.

They where very friendly when they were there working, very professional about the job, and showed up on-time. They did a good job cleaning up when they were done.

We had water start coming out of our electrical outlets during a rain storm. Called Bordner and they sent an estimator the next day. He did the estimate but couldn't do the repair because it was still raining. He told us he'd have someone do the work as soon as the weather improved. two weeks later, still no repair and another major rainstorm. Called Bordner again and they promised to have someone out as soon as possible. Two days later, they finally sent someone. He never even knocked on the front door, just put up a ladder and went to work. We heard thumping and went out to find him working on the roof. Spoke briefly and he went back to work. He left without saying anything. The bill arrived within 3 days. We've had a rainstorm since, no leaks, but I will not use or recommend them again. Very high price for less than an hour's work and a very long delay to even start.

We were very impressed with everything. The salesman, Steve Hall, came out to prepare the estimate exactly when he said he would, and brought the information to us at work. When we made the decision to use them, Steve brought the color samples over the same day, we called the next day to let him know the color, and they came out the next day to start the project. They arrived on time, worked throughout the day, and when we got home from work, the roof was completed. The area was extremely clean. We were very impressed! They did everything exactly when they said they would, and the work was completed very quickly and very well. They were very good about covering all windows and plants so that nothing would be damaged.

They did do a good job on the roof work even though there were a few problems after the work was done but they came right back to take care of them quickly. I just wished they would have handled the safety issues better. I felt they should have done a better job of notifying their customers of where they were working. In fact, if they had of satisfied me that they did care about the safety of their customers or had taken steps to prevent this from happening again, I would have easily considered using them but at this point, they would one of the many companies that I consider going with if I need this type of work done in the future.

The job went well. They were patient with us when we couldn't find the right color and delayed the job until we made a decision. We did have to call them back to finish painting the doors and unstick the windows that were painted shut. They responded quickly to these issues.

We are happy with the new gutters. We ordered the gutters to match the garage doors and trim and Bordner matched the color exactly. There were no problems with the installation.

They did a good job and finished the job quickly. They coordinated well to replace the windows at the same time. We had no issues.

Unsatisfied that i have not been called back to set the appoint despite given a two week window for hat to occur.
