Called company in late May, and they told me they could not even give me a date when an estimator would call me back. Later in June, I receive this full page letter explaining the situation. But, middle of July, and still no phone call even to set a date/time for an estimate. Instead of wasting your time waiting for a callback (two month almost?), call a different roofing company.

Bordners was easy to contact and worked around our unusual/complicated schedules. With all three projects they were patient and answered all of our questions fully. They arrived on time, the work proceeded as they said it would, and the clean-up was complete. They are an honest, hard working company that stands behind their work 100%.

Very disappointed in the "less" than professional tactics utilized by Bordner sales people.

I have had Bordner replace 6 or 7 roofs for me in the past, so I considered myself to be a good and loyal customer for them. When I called them to get a estimate for replacing a roof, they indicated that I would get a call back to set up a time to look at the roof in 3 weeks. After about 2 weeks, I called them again and explained that I was trying to get the house on the market. The person I spoke with said I would get a call in the next day or two. The call didn't come. Finally, almost 2 1/2 months later, they called to say that they would provide an estimate. After several more weeks, someone called to say they had an estimate and wanted to meet with us. We were out of town at the time and asked them to email it, which they said they would. It never came. I have still never received an estimate from Bordner. In the meantime, the roof was replaced by another company. I was a little shocked by the way they treat a loyal, repeat customer, and I don't believe I will be returning to them in the future. They were always a good company, but their customer service is sorely lacking now.

My insurance approved the roof replacement after the storm and hails. Called for an estimate on roof replacement. About two weeks later, a salesman called me back and came over to my place on the following morning in a rain. He said since it was raining he was not able to get on the roof, so he would order eagle eye picture of my house and measure it then put together a proposal for me. He also took my insurance documents with him. A week later nothing happened, so sent him an email and got reply on the following day saying he was still waiting for the measurements and would have something for me tomorrow. That was the last word I heard from him. I sent him emails and phone calls, never replied ever since.

I called to get somone to come out and inspect my home's roof after a hail storm. It took over 3 weeks for someone to come out. Also their receptionist told me I would not have anyone come out until my insurance company had done their inspection. I was told they were very busy, but to take over 3 weeks and I believe it was much close to over a month seems like an extraordinary amount of time. I had three other companies come out within a week and do the inspection and bid. We did not choose this company to put a new roof on due to their cost. They were at least $4000 more than the next highests bid I received. The person who came out admitted they are always the highest cost and he seemed very proud of it. I know they are one of the larger companies in the area and have lots of employees and do a lot of advertising so their overhead is high thus resulting in higher costs. I ended up choosing the same company I used a few years ago to a new roof on after another hail storm. I am sure this company would do a quality installation and deliver it on time, however the cost difference was just too much.

Very well. They were competent and professional and did a good job on the windows.

. The Forman would come over and check on things and answer the questions that I had. It was a very smoothly run project. I would use them in the future.

All of the people at Bordner were wonderful, from the first contact with salesman, Jason Moody, to the employees who actually performed the repairs. My wife were very impressed with the employee's courteousness and the level of respect and care they had for our home. They were very careful with all of their equipment when they were inside our home to protect walls, corners, and carpeting. They put down new, fresh clean tarps in all area where they had their equipment. I was impressed! They cleaned up after their work. They answered all of my questions, and I was very satisfied that the work they performed was precisely as I expected and as promised. This is a great company! They may be slightly more pricey than other companies; but, I would rather spend a few more dollars to have the work performed to my high standards than to save a few dollars and be dissatisfied with the work. When it comes time to replace our roof, Bordner will certainly be one of the companies from whom we seek a bid. They voluntarily informed me that they used three (3) bags less than was called for on the work order, and I received a credit on my bill for the three less bags without even having to ask for the credit. My wife and I are exceedingly grateful that the Bordner workers were thoughtful in taking a little extra care to keep our home clean and fresh. Thank you, Bordner!

Overall, I was pleased with Bordner. I have heard good things about them, and they have been in the area for several decades. I did give them a couple B's simply because they didn't set up a time sooner, but on the other hand, I did have a company that set up a time only to call back later and say they couldn't make it at the given time. Bordner was there at the given time. Also, I did not get a written estimate until I did a follow-up contact with the rep. I do prefer something in writing that day, or e-mailed to me immediately afterwards. Otherwise, he was very professional, and I would have easily gone with Bordner over the other company. It was literally a coin toss between the two companies!

A Superior Company... Everything went just like clockwork from the estimates through the installation and ending with an outstanding clean up of the job site. I was absolutely impressed with every employee's professionalism (about 25 total) and their overall workmanship. Every employee went out of their way to make this project a great experience for me and my family by listening to my requests and cheerfully responding to them. I was given an honest detailed bid and a professional contract with all pricing, services and warranties clearly listed and written to protect me with a fair representation of their interests. Each crew showed up exactly on time to the time they said they would start, each project was completed to the precise time I was given by the estimator and crew leaders. The property was carefully protected by each crew member on the team which includes plants, trees, flowers, lights, furniture and shutters. After each installation you couldn't tell that a major construction project had just been preformed. I don't have even one complaint to give... Ryan Morton was great to work with Bordner roofing was great to work with. They processed and submitted our claim for the old shingle to previous manufacturer. I gathered information from four to five bids and did my own research from there. We cut no corners and everything that we were told that would happen did there were no surprises. Ryan was exemplary in every stage of this process as were the various crafts which took part in this job.

Initial bid was a bit high, but they matched a competitor's bid using the same materials. They called ahead of time to schedule the work day and to provide info on how to prep for the installation (remove valuable items from exterior walls, attic, etc.) They used subcontractors. Work was completed in one day! Roof looks great. Crew did great job of cleaning up. Only snafu was a dropped pry bar that punched a small hole in our ceiling, but they sent a repairman out to fix it.

The estimator called to set appointment for quote, but did not call when he said. I called and he called back with a new date and did show up then. He was very professional, discovered my problem (3 rusted and deteriorated vent pipes) and quoted $300.00. Early December, he called to say he was sending my job to the technition, but I hadn't heard from anyone by mid December, I called again and the technition returned my call and completed the job. The estimator did notice a loud noise that was emitted from my gas meter. I called Kansas Gas Service and they replaced my meter. I have to say that he showed much concern about getting the situation (meter) dealt with safely and I appreciate that as much as the good job on my roof. At this time I have not noticed and further leaking at the areas repaired.

Very professional and thorough inspection before giving estimate. Work was done quickly and very efficiently. Thorough clean-up. Final billing was les than estimate.Because of our positive experience with this company we are meeting with them to get an estimate for replacement windows.

He was efficient and seemed thorough, checking from inside the attic, and again on rooftop. He repaired a much smaller area of roof than others recommended, which would have left my roof looking bad for nearly a year (shake shingles). The leak was small and bigger was not needed! My only dislike is they need to use booties when coming in the house. No carpets were marked, but easily could have. I would have marked them down then. They are very knowledgeable and price was lower than the others I had estimate

OUTSTANDING so far--waiting for windows to come from factory & be installed.

We were looking at them for some work on sidings and windows; they do a bunch of stuff. They were really good and very professional. They were of first class operation. They were a lot higher than everybody else but all the while they have people comment about their good services. They were truly good and one thing that stood out was for sure, they were higher compared to other companies but we kind of thought it was probably, they work that way as it does not affect the economy as much on them. A lot of the other people were offering, who said if we got the service done immediately then we'll get busy and things like that, but Bordner did not make any comments about that kind of thing. The overall experience was very good; they were on time and came out just in time when we asked them for a quote. There were no complaints about them and they have a good reputation around here. We will use them again for a quote in future if needed.

I think they did a great job. Everything they promised happened just like they said it would with no surprises. There was absolutley no mess after the job. It looks beautiful ! I'm a huge fan.

They did a pretty good job. They also worked on my neighbors house too and they liked them also. They were very responsive and came back without hesitation to tweek a few things.

We went with them because they had a good reputation. We had some difficulty with some work we have had done with other companies in this area. They actually did a very good job. They were on time and very competent. They were considerate with all of the work they were doing. We thought very highly of them. They are probably a little more expensive than some of their competition.

They used a subcontractor to perform the work with daily visits from a Bordner rep. They did a very sloppy job installing the insulation board, using just their eye and a utility knife to make the cuts, so fit was very poor, with gaps around windows, doors and the angles of roofs and such, basically where ever they needed to cut a board there were gaps. So to my mind this extra layer of insulation was hardly worth the price I paid for it. Fit and finish of the siding was better but still some problems with it too. We experienced leaks in the siding on the front of the house and the rear of the house which they responded to and repaired. Hopefully there will be no more leaks.
